The odds of meeting a dangerous man online in Nigeria is so high i still wonder how ladies comfortably up and go visit a man they met on the internet in his comfort zone. I once met a nairalander here, he was so easy to talk to we soon became chat buddies but i noticed there was no meaningful timeline on his face book ,i didnt take it serious until i also noticed he never posts on his status atleast not that i could see. Before you know it ,he started pestering me to come to lagos to visit him.
I decided to do some digging myself only to find out the Facebook account he gave me wasn't his real one ,the real one has his marriage and all. His wife was even pregnant, yes he is a nairalander,he could have easily been a ritualist oo.maybe na runs girl dem for tag me wen i go missing.

Also there is another strategy they are using now especially on nairaland, dating groups, yes you heard me, dating groups,many guys come together to form dating groups and come to nairaland to haunt for "ready to settle down" ladies cos they know this type of ladies have a bit of desperation in them, so they pass these ladies around in the group all in the name of dating, some of these so called "serious relationships " can last as long as up to a year before they pull the plug on the unsuspecting lady and the next guy in the group comes in to mark his own register.

Becareful ladies, be very careful of these men you meet online,let she that has ear hear o.

If you are a lady reading this and you didn't take anything away from this thread, just read the comments of men on this thread ,it will give you the idea that no man is worth putting your life at risk to meet, these men will readily call you a runs girl for even coming to meet them in their comfort zone anyway so why make it more difficult for yourself if you are not a runs girl to visit a Nigerian man who already sees you as cheap

Have handled a similar case while in Gombe Police Command. The police can't really do much if the woman doesn't corporate. If by chance the police get enough evidence and arrest the husband, he will be charge to court for causing grievous hurt, attempted homicide, domestic violent etc which on conviction he will be send to prison for a very long time. Now if that happen, the wife will blame you, the wife will tell everyone that care to listen that you refuse to mind your business and send her husband to prison, she will also tell her children how you send their daddy to prison. If the lady is unable to take care of herself and her kids she will blame you. The world will turn against you for sending someone husband to prison and letting the wife suffer. The only thing you can do is to inform the lady family and let them look into it and find a solution. Sometimes we get into trouble when trying to help someone.
