These militants in collusion with NIMASA then decide to effect a blockade on vessels which are exempt from levies and taxes. NLNG goes to court to contest the charges and obtains a stay. NIMASA and their militant contractors refuse to remove the blockade because they want to extort NLNG. NLNG can't supply LNG and natural gas and thus cannot fufil its obligations. Nigeria loses money and the price of kerosene skyrockets. That's what one single act of stupidity can cause.
