Politics › Re: THE TRUE FACE OF THE NORTH by duni04(m): 6:01pm On Oct 12, 2014 |
I wonder when Nigerians will start to realise that development is not in pictures or fancy buildings or mosques, or beautiful houses. The Human development index for almost all the states in the north is terrible! If anything, this thread has exposed the ignorance of the political leadership in the north. Building fancy houses and mosques when maternal mortality is the highest in Nigeria, illiteracy is the highest, poverty is the highest and unemployment is also the highest in Nigeria. Plus they're still supposed to be battling polio and drought in the north. No pictures of schools or water schemes or equipped hospitals. Its a shame! |
Politics › Re: Buhari Calls For A Total Sharia In Nigeria (Published 2001) by duni04(m): 5:31pm On Oct 12, 2014 |
berem: the news was far back as 2001. Even if it didn't have a duplicate thread,it was not supposed to make FP. You mods pushed the FP just to tarnish the image of GMB. Nairaland should not be used to run down anyone aspiring to contest for any election. It is totally wrong. As long as its true that Buhari said those things, I see nothing wrong in letting people know as much as possible about someone that aspires to rule over them. They would be running Buhari down only if he didn't say those things about Sharia. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Calls For A Total Sharia In Nigeria (Published 2001) by duni04(m): 5:25pm On Oct 12, 2014 |
Okay those are really extremist statements he made. Buhari is old and he's ruled Nigeria before. The APC should look for younger, more liberal and less controversial candidates for the presidential slot and they'll have my vote. Fashola and Amaechi are more credible candidates than Buhari and Atiku. I love and respect the APC ideology but the people that are coming up to represent this ideology at the presidential level are not clean. Lets forget this zoning rubbish and embrace the politics of development rather than politics of tribe and religion. |

The Nigerian army is made up of really confused people. When Boko Haram was brandishing APC's and high calibre guns, they said their soldiers were the ones selling weapons. Now that that the soldiers have decided to destroy the weapons before Boko Haram gets them, our budget chopping generals in Abuja are making noise again. |
Politics › Re: Appeal Court Nullifies Osun 2011 Elections by duni04(m): 5:19pm On Oct 11, 2014 |
And people are still talking nonsense on this fake thread with fake news. The verdict has no bearing whatsoever on any election held in 2011 or 2014. The OP and the MOD simply and stupidly quoted the PDP spokesperson's interpretation of the verdict. It has absolutely no implication on any governorship or legislative election. |

Aks: Going by some comments here, all i deduce is stock trading has been reduced to Kalokalo/Baba Ijebu. Skye will reverse the trend shortly, time will tell Apparently the N30k div isn't enough to entice buyers and people are realising that Skye's acquisition of Mainstreet is no big deal. Mainstreet is not Fidelity or Sterling afterall. N2.75 to N2.80 is not that bad People that were smart enough to sell at N3.16 more blood to your brains. |

Igbohater: The other day her fans where arguing and accusing Seun on this thread https://www.nairaland.com/1907394/why-linda-ikeji-makes-more for been too secretive. I hope by now they see the reason why it's good to operate codedly. Linda failed to realize that she's a chicken in midst of Hawks. she was busy flauting the returns of her stolen contents. what does she do for a living? she sit in her room, steal contents, lie and copy and paste people's work all day and smile to the bank with millions. She is the laziest nigerian millionaire i ever known and i smh for those calling her their role model. She's lucky she's not been sued and fine millions of dollars. Umunede: I watched that programme. He also said that NFF will set up a Technical committee that will compile and grade all our foreign players into Grade A, B and C based on the league they are playing and how regular they play in their club. He said there will be no way of inviting someone in playing in China when there is someone playing regularly in a top league. Makes sense |

Arva: You people are just talking create a website this create a website that.. Do you know how she will struggle with the website if she created it ? Do you know what it would have taken her to drive traffic back into that website ? Her creating a website was like starting afresh. Not true. With a new site, all she would have had to do was just to redirect to the new site from blogger, very simple! She was just too naive and ignorant. Even if she didn't know she could have gotten an IT person, but no! She wanted to chop Googles money alone. |

Perfect opportunity for any innovative blogger to take over the blogspace and consolidate before Linda gathers sense and registers a domain. Linda will come back but i hope someone else will be in charge of our "Aproko" by the time she returns. |

GodMode: hosting a domain doesn't protect the site attacks... If you invest in the security of the site, noting will happen! She just wasn't smart enough to think about the future. She had millions of viewers. She ought to have moved away from blogger since! She was enjoying adsense money, that's probably why she didn't move. |

She could afford to buy a range for N24 million, give away N250,000 every Monday and sponsor her family to dubai but couldn't afford to buy ordinary domain name? No business sense at all! Childish woman. If they make small money the whole world must hear. No planning for the future, no reinvestment in the business. Even Bellanaija that is not as popular as Linda's blog had the small sense to move away from blogger and buy a domain name. Somehow at the back of my mind, I knew Linda's blog wouldn't last long. She's not smart and she's very temperamental and proud. |

oneeast2: Managing Director of World Bank, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has described Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State as the most fiscally responsible governor in Nigeria.
This feat, she said, had enabled Obi to use public fund for public good "which informs why there is need for Anambra people to rally round him so that the state can achieve its development objective".
http://allafrica.com/stories/200907210533.html Lol wayo man. Nothing like that in this article. She simply never said so, u just manufactired it. Bros I'm sure you have your reasons for loving Peter Obi but he simply hasn't done anything to merit being President except for the fact that he's Ibo. We cannot afford another "Jonathan" at the helm of our affairs. Our next President must be someone i must at least be proud of watching on cnn, unlike now where i switch off my tv in shame whenever my President is on. |

oneeast2: Forget about the news paper generated IGR. All those states you claim that has higher IGR still went to capital market to raise bonds and all. It is about the background of the person in charge. Have you heard what Iwela meant when she said the Peter Obi was the most fiscally responsible governor in Nigeria? Let me tell you, you can manage your meager resources to achieve far above the person with bigger allocation. It all boils down to good management of resources and placing your priorities aright. Things will just fall in place.. Please provide a link to the article where Iwela said Obi was the most fiscally responsible governor |
