We're talking about AWCON here sir. That defence is by far the best coming to AWCON. Look at the other countries and you will see leggy defenders. Age is not a measure of pace for defenders. Ability to read a game is key. The AWCON is not known for rapid attackers who play quick European football. These our defenders will mostly have to deal with players in front of them, not ones running behind them. Even if they do make those runs, its only a case of sitting back a bit.
BTW, the ladies in camp yet to be fully kitted. Typical NFF neglect.

You have written like a typical African. Whether it is AWCON or World Cup, I start in time to build a team. Again, if I am the coach of the Falcon, it will be reserved to me to replace either Onome Ebi or Osinachi Ohale or both for Chidinma Okeke and another young defender such as Opayemi Sunday. If players are not known for their prime time or old age according to you, "Age is not a measure of pace for defenders", one wonders why players retire from the game.

Yes I insisted they are too old and have played many matches that induced serious wear and tear. However you missed on the issue of mixing the old and youth at the same time. Faith Ikidi plays 90minutes for her Swedish club and she is their key defender.
Osinachi Ohale is the strongest their, she is tough, fast and the most difficult to get past.
Ebi is not very much Athletic again but she uses her Experience well in playing her position and she is still strong and good in the Air., She is a good marker.
Ebere is currently our Best Left Back, filled with overlapping run and can deliver some diffence splitting crosses... She can also score directly from the Corner kick and Free kick spot..

I have always loved Faith Ikidi but also have seen her looked her age on the field especially when faced with younger and skillful attackers. Nigerian Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, on Wednesday, said Nigeria has taken one step forward and 10 steps backwards during plenary.

The senator representing the Abia-South Senatorial District of Abia State decried the critical state of pipe-borne water in the country.

“It is only in Abuja that one can find pipe-borne water. It’s a disgrace to Nigeria. We’ve gone one step forward and 10 steps back. We should be providing pipe-born water to every household in Nigeria,” he said.


Abaribe was reacting to Senator Dino Melaye’s comment on the alarming rate of scarcity of water supply in the nation.

Melaye said, “The Nigerian water sector is in critical condition. The situation is alarming and calls for immediate intervention.”

Senator Abaribe stated afterwards that an investigation should be made by the “committee” to find out what the fund on water has been used on.

Consequently, the Senate directed the committee on water supply to carry out a holistic investigation into the declining state of water in Nigeria. The Red chamber also urged the federal government to embark on a long-term commitment to find a pathway for better water delivery in Nigeria.

Senate President Bukola Saraki said the senate needs to get to the bottom of the water issue and find a solution that will improve water supply to Nigeria.

Saraki said the committee should take the work with the importance it deserves and quickly carry out investigations to particularly block the leakages in the area of corruption

He added, “This is of great concern to us. As a country, it is very embarrassing if our decline has gone down to 7% from 32%. As we all know, as a country, there must be adequate water supply for all our operations.”

Most important....they are trained to wake their father with greetings and felicitations...they are taught the value of "Eku...", and no product of such intermarriage ever use the known and widely accepted Ibo custom of rousing the father early in morning with a commanding shout and foot kick in the ribs.

I dare any Ibo to challenge these points. I have details and even reports from your homeland, as far back as 1950s to bring up as evidence. I will open a brand new thread just to showcase it.

You must be able to separate Urban from City. In Nigeria, Urban is our city hence the electric pole and tension cables all over the skyline. Africa in general and Nigeria in particular have not reached the level of running tension cables under the ground. Africa countries, maybe baring RSA, cannot boast of under ground tension cables, potable water, gas and waste water.
