So, I've a situation on my hand right now. I ordered for a tpu case since on the 25th of Jan, but of course, because of the holidays, shipping was delayed till on the 3rd of Feb.

Now, my item was supposedly shipped out on the 3rd, but till today, it's still at the "Waiting for pick up" stage. So yesterday, I sent a msg to the seller asking why my item was still at pick up stage after 7 days of being shipped out. The seller got back to me, apologizing, telling me that there may have been an accident, probably why. And that if it's not delivered within the 'Purchase Protection' time, we could then renegotiate for either a refund or re-delivery.

My worry is, there is still over 50 days of purchase protection time remaining. I'm considering canceling the order. My question is, if I cancel the order, will I be automatically refunded? What exactly is the best course of action to take in such a case?

Meanwhile, my RN3 SE shipped through Aliexpress standard on the 2nd is almost here, and another flip case and glass shipped via China post registered mail on the 5th has gotten past a few stages.

OP, before you start calling Glo, make sure you have a compatible device. What device are you using? Does it support LTE band 28?

I see some people up there already blaming Glo, when they didn't even bother to ask you some pertinent questions.

Do you have a USB otg cable capable of data transfer? If you do, how much?

It happens. Just log in to your online banking profile, and you will see that there are two account balances: there is the 'Book Balance', which is the correct balance, and there is 'Account Balance', which would be 3200 naira short. But the discrepancy will be resolved. It could take 24hrs or more.

If you have an account manager, go and meet him or her. There is a way they check in their system and see the date it will be resolved. The said amount is still in your account, but blocked, so you can't have access to it until it is resolved eventually.

I was very surprised when, on Sunday, Glo LTE that would normally be full, was now showing one bar, in Zone 2. I think they are having serious logistics problem.

G900F supports band 7. Go to your dial pad and dial *#*#4636#*#* then go into Phone information, now scroll down and select 'LTE Only'. Let me know if that helps.

Which variant of s5 do you own? Go to your 'about' screen to see it. Mind you, G900H doesn't have LTE support.

There must be something you are not getting right. I've not come across a device that supports ntel's band 3 or/and 8 that didn't work, same with Smile's band 20.

It might be that your account has been verified.. In the time of alipay balance cos, I had to upload my passport then during the alipocket registration... So you might not need to appeal...

Also There is account level you might be on A2, A3 or A4... Check your level

How long did it take you to get to A2?

Hope your APN is correct? If not, it will not work. Smile APN is internet. By the way, Smile and ntel are both '4G Only' networks, they don't support any other network type. So you will need to dial *#*#4636#*#* then enter Phone information, scroll down and select 'LTE Only'.

I had to appeal as well, though i just opened my account in January. I was only trying to explain the whole new/old account thingy, but i guess it isn't exactly accurate.

I think the point is, an old account is considered to be somewhat credible, hence a blind eye is turned to it.

glo aside bad network, they are the most sincere network among all the networks, I am using 2 glo lines for only data.

No Mi Max variant support band 28. Only Mi Note 2 and Redmi Note 3 SE support band 28.

That's not the accurate way of telling your available monthly dollar allowance. to be sure, log into your online banking profile, Under Cards, click 'View Int'l Card Spend Limit', now scroll down and see similar info in the below screenshot

Power saving mode is a feature meant for conserving battery, and in turn, reduces performance. So why would one deliberately reduce the performance/power of a phone? If you didn't need that much performance/power, why buy that phone in the first place?

My point is, by using power saving mode, you are defeating the whole purpose of that phone. In other words, that is not a solution to the overheating problem. So yes, like that other guy pointed out, it's a flaw in the phone.

Snapdragon 650 on the RN3 pro/SE, Mi Max uses lte cat 7 (300/100Mbps down/Up) while 625 on the Redmi 4/ prime uses lte cat 7 in the downlink, and cat 13 in the uplink (300/150Mbps down/up)

Definitely, mtn 4G is way faster than Glo 4G. Etisalat 4G is only officially available in some parts of Lagos, though it's now being deployed in Abuja.

Have you done mtn LTE speed tests on your RN3 SE? I'm just curious about the speed. Dam5reey was getting some awesome speed on his Redmi 4 pro.
