quivah, they may have realized that you have two accounts, hence why they've refused to accept your appeal. I've had to appeal twice when my account newly opened, and never did it take more than two days for my appeal to be accepted. I never chatted with any of their reps. I simply include a well written note in addition to the requested documents.

You Need to update the firmware before you can say anything about how it runs or the battery life.

is there any process to it? Or it's just download and install automatically
If you have stable, fast connection, you can update it directly as long as the update app shows there is an update. But alternatively, download the the full rom, rename it to update.zip, put it in your internal root directory, then open the update app, then install the update from the root directory.

GTBank does $1:NGN320, which gives NGN60,800 when you round up figures to $190 and you'd get that phone shipped freely to Naija in 2-4weeks. Plus you can use multiple card payments mode.

Na so I been dey find OBD2 scanner, I called various auto equipment sales, they were hiving me bills of 80-140k, I jejelly go aliexpress and order it, guess how much it was?
31k I just weak for naija arbitrary price tags.
What is the make and version of the OBD2 scanner you bought?

d 2 additional lte bands on d global variant z not really a compulsory, cauz glo lte band z absent on d global variant, etisalat, mtn and ntel lte service will work on d 2 bt glo lte wunt work on d 2
Band 20 is a very popular lte band, with good in-building penetration and travels far. And in the nearest future, depending how it all goes, mtn might be allowed to deploy its lte over it. Smile already uses it. I don't see why anyone wouldn't want to have that. So the word compulsory in this case is subjective. I wouldn't deliberately buy a note 4x when there is another variant that supports more bands in my country, considering all other things equal.

The question you need to ask yourself is, was there so much violence during Ameachi's tenure? The answer is No. In fact, Rivers state was largely peaceful.

After the update, I noticed the phone doesn't heat up while charging unlike when I still had 8.1.2.0

Will keep an eye for further noticeable changes.

MIUI 8.2 OTA update won't be available for Mi 5 until February 20.
Which charger are you using? Uk(three flat pins) or EU(two round pins)?
PhonesRe: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by dustmalik(m): 4:00pm On Mar 01, 2017

Yeah I already get double data on my Infinix Hot S..the best plan to use is the 5H for 1gb on MTN Pulse, turns into 5H for 2Gb with the bonus..but the 4G plans are different to the normal plans. You cant use a normal plan on MTN 4G. Once you switch to 4G it stops browsing. I don't know why they made the 4G plans independent of the existing ones. They are much more expensive. Does anybody know if they've changed that?

In general though, I don't use MTN to browse much. I find it more economical to go for Ntel's 10K for unlimited data simply because of the ratio of price to the amount of data you're getting. Like I said before I've averaged 160GB monthly for a few months now that's roughly 1K=16GB. And I haven't even maxed out before or noticed any bandwidth reduction. I wonder when their fair usage policy kicks in huh huh Maybe at 200GB grin grin
The emboldened is wrong. All MTN Data plans work across all network types(2G, 3G and 4G). Same plan work on all of them. I've been using MTN 4G since the inception. You are probably talking about MTN/Visaphone 4G plans, which are more expensive.

Wow amazing speeds. I still believe that the day MTN decides to regularize their 4G plan prices is the day these speeds will be long gone. As things stand now very few people are using it. All the same though, these are the fastest speeds I've seen in Nigeria cheesy cheesy
Just subscribe for any of the MTN plans on any device that has not gotten the 100% device bonus, and you'll be given double of the normal data. For instance, if you subscribe for the 1k/1.5GB plan, you'll be given 3GB. That's what I've been using for months now. With 5k, you get 20gb.
PhonesRe: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by dustmalik(m): 1:25pm On Mar 01, 2017

Haven't tried the MTN 4G plan and I don't see myself trying them any time soon. Last time I checked I was seeing ridiculous prices like 100MB-N500, 200MB-N1000. Also saw that their unlimited plan was N37000 for one month (I stand to be corrected) and knowing MTN I'm suspicious of the use of the term "unlimited".
This is just a joke to me.

Has anybody really gotten up to 100Mbps on MTN 4G? ARE YOU SURE? I'm pretty skeptical. At those speeds, running a speed test for just 10sec could eat up 1GB and going by the prices, 1GB on MTN 4G would be about N5000 LOL
Screenshots will clear all doubts though grin grin
Depending on the location, reception and device, it's very possible. Some have posted speeds of over 145Mpbs. Check out this thread https://www.nairaland.com/3576315/unbelievable-speed-test-mtn...4g#52863953

I think they are actually having some network problems. Something about their DNS huh huh The fastest network I've tested is Inter-C. They clocked 35MB/s one hot afternoon like that. I was using them before I switched to Ntel. I made the switch largely because of the price differences.
When ntel started out in April last year, it was very fast then. I use to get up to 80Mbps at the time. But it has since become something else.

Right now, MTN has the fastest LTE in Nigeria. Depending on your location and how good LTE reception is, you could get up to 100Mbps on mtn.

BusinessRe: Naira Strengthens To N435/$ On CBN Dollar Glut by dustmalik(m): 7:39am On Feb 28, 2017
There are those who aren't happy with the current naira strengthening trend, and these people will do anything to see that it doesn't continue. They'll come together, form alliances, and come up with ways to reduce our forex, including bombing pipelines.

As long as our forex earnings largely depends on oil, it'll always be easy to stop significant progress to this country.

Thank you. That guy keeps following me around, trying to rain on my parade. I don't know him from anywhere, I've never had any dealings with him, he didn't give me money to buy the phone, neither do I owe him anything, so I don't know why he won't leave me alone.

He's probably a kid. What he doesn't know is that people who tend not to mind their business don't last in this world. I know what I'm talking about.
