Has anyone took delivery of phones in any of the post offices in Abuja, either the one in Wuse Zone 3 or Area 10? Do they ask for any fee? Are they even suppose to ask for any fee? By the way, do they ask for the content of your package? Any chance of your package going missing once they find out the content?

Snapped the rest documents with my phone and sent them like that.

I thought they wouldn't accept it like that. If they ever request for it again, that's what I'll do.

It doesn't have to carry the official stamp. That's why I'll advise he send them the pdf(if he decides to get the softcopy) but if it's a printed copy, of course, that will have a stamp & authorizing sign. As for me, I used the pdf generated via my internet banking platform and the one received from gtbank's e-statement unit for the 3rd party card. The funny thing is, the format of each source (iBank, e-statement unit and printed version) differs!

Exactly. The APN must be set to gloflat, otherwise 4G will not come up. Unlike Glo 3G that accepts APNs like the glosecure, MTN, etisalat APNs, Glo 4G doesn't.

Be assured that you'll get your response asap once you provided the necessary details. I hardly go to bank for issues relating to my account or my sons'. I either buzz their email, twitter or gtconnect to get my issues resolved in no time. I got a refund for my cancelled order via email yesterday within an hour. They are responsive when they really want to.

As regards appeal the process is too stressful,if not that they had my 40dollars,i would have given up,i dont likw wahala at all,i already verified my account tru alipay,now thus appeal again,all cos of 100dollars,there own too much,now they made me looose my 8dollar coupon,e pain me die.

Do let us know how quick they respond. If it's quicker, next time there might be no need going to the bank.

I have funds in the visa africard but they always refuse to honour any transactions from the card. So contacted CC and they suggested i get a dollar prepaid card or open a domic account but i have to source for the dollar at the parallel market to fund the acct. UBA is 322/$ and there is also bank charges for every one thousand naira transaction.

So, even the dollar prepaid card would require you source dollars from parallel market? If so, I suggest you stick to Access Visa card and Gtb naira Mastercard, because sourcing for dollars would cost you more.

The current month is okay. In my case, I only asked them to print from 1st January to 18th January, and Aliexpress accepted it.

Is it the Visa AfriCard? If it is, the last time I checked, Visa Africard has some outrageous charges, though I don't remember the rates exactly.

By the way, how is it funded, in naira or dollars?

Upload the first page where you are asked to upload the bank statement, then upload the last page where you are asked to upload optional document. Hope your bank statement carries the logo and official stamp?

you are right i know about that, but two obstacles re up for it: to unlock the bootloader, users have hard time unlocking xiaomi phones running on global rom or global dev rom, even if u gt to unlock the bootloader, what about the twrp image, i only c KENZO's twrp, d offical one, alka twrp, cofface twrp n ZCX twrp all for kenzo....flashing the modem i know about that...do you have the KATE variant n where u able to root ya root, u can try RADON kernel

Just ordered for it. I have seen a couple of threads where the bootloader unlocking was explained.

You are quite right. Initially, because of lack of much custom rom support for Kate, I had wanted to go for kenzo. But after going through some threads on xda and some other sites, I came to understand that Kate can use all custom roms meant for kenzo, though one would have to flash the Kate modem file after flashing the kenzo custom rom, and this is a one-time thing as long as you are switching between AOSP, CM/LineageOS roms. But if you go back to a miui rom, you would have to do the same thing when you flash a custom rom again.

To me, that isn't much of a hassle. given the extra LTE bands support on Kate, I just couldn't pass up on it.

Others may have their opinion of preferring Redmi 4, but the Redmi note 3 pro has more unofficial support than any other Xiaomi device till date. That's why I prefer it. Though I went for the SE edition which has a different antenna, and in turn, has more lte bands support than the normal note 3 pro. The SE edition supports all LTE bands of our network providers.

To be blunt, only a fool would compare Xiaomi with Gionee. Gionee only has presence in Africa, and no where else. Even in China, how many people use Gionee? Meanwhile, Xiaomi products are widely used in Asia, Europe and the Americas. The presence of Xiaomi in India alone, is more than that of Gionee, Infinix and Tecno combined worldwide.

I have used up my Gtbank for this month and I want to make an order of up to $280 next month. I thought I could use my wife's Access Bank but it didn't work. I just found out her card is verve not visa.

Just open an Access bank account at one of their major branch, and you can get the Visa card that same day. It's that easy. If you do that by Monday, you would have access to the January $100 limit usage.

I tried Infinix fast charger early this morning and it charged it but not without an issue... The phone charges for 5mins and then stops charging only for it to continue charging immediately!

It's the charging port. Just stick to one charger that charges it without any issue, and you will have nothing to worry about.
