The demands of the so-called Avengers are unrealistic, and they know it. They just want to have a reason to keep causing havoc. It's not possible to revoke oil licenses of Northerners. Those Northerners are very rich, influential and powerful. They are capable of causing more havoc to this country than all the militants put together.
If it's true that pipeline protection contract was one of the concessions of the FG, and these militants aren't still unsatisfied with it, then they should go to hell. If I were Buhari, I'd allow them to keep blowing up pipelines, which would force my hands to declare state of emergency in those states. Lets see how that play out. |
Politics › Re: Niger Delta Avengers Attacks Another Oil Pipeline, Demand Sovereign State by dustmalik(m): 11:47am On May 27, 2016 |
All this while, they never agitated for all this. Their kinsman was there for over six years yet they never made these unrealistic demands. All of a sudden, their kinsman was defeated soundly and roundly, they now want everything. If it's through blackmail and sabotage they want to make the APC-led government unpopular and a failure, then I have already decided that come 2019, I'll still vote for the APC.
Let us all continue to suffer the consequences of their sabotage. |

henryskywalker2003: I will try that when I get to the office tomorrow. I had a mind to change the test server and try again but work happened. But at the same time, I think the network in Abuja may just be better than that in Lagos. That it's an LTE network doesn't mean that it won't have glitches or poor reception especially now they are still rolling out and not fully ironed out the kinks. You have a point though. If the available site is quite far from your location, then performance would be awful. I remember when the nearest site to my location was down, I couldn't get up to 10mbps. So, maybe network is very poor at your location. But that doesn't mean that coverage is generally poor in the whole of Lagos. Given the antecedents of other telcos, ntel servers are most likely located in Lagos, so, naturally, customers in Lagos ought to be getting better speed where coverage and every other condition is on par with those in Abuja. |

henryskywalker2003: Finally got to use it around my office at VI. It wasn't impressive at all. So, I am wondering where all those speedtests that were being posted online came from. The test server you are connected to is quite messed up. go to settings and select Vodacom Business Nigeria. I just got this now https://www.speedtest.net/result/5356277295.png |

ayokellany: I have no idea whether all these Ipob Igbo's have been forsaken from using their brain. Diplomacy, international relations etc are technicalities in war which one must use to his advantage during war. How your Ojukwu that schooled in the UK could not comprehend this is pathetic, that the senseless one among you Igbo's will blame others such as Yoruba Britain France etc for the glaring failures of your entire tribe and leaders and not doing whatever is necessary to achieve success only shows you are all deranged.
If German can perpetrate the holocaust just to win a war and USA that shout human right can drop atomic bomb on Japan I see no reason why I personally will not do the same to Biafra if I was the Nigeria president at the time you Biafra deem it fit to wage a war.
War is not kunfu or kickboxing. War no be dirty slap, do whatever is utmost necessary to win and apologize for any resolution you might have floated after victory. You ipob Igbo should cease provoking other Nigerians with your shameless, pathetic unrelenting claims of deorivation genocide or whatever you all chose yo call. Its beta you instigate another war than continue with this act of extreme cowardice and incomprehensible foolishness in the name of fighting for freedom it is naeuseatiing. You all can achieve you freedom the Ghandi style or simply go the way of Kosovo Eritrea Slovenia and many other smaller countries that fought successfully for their independence without whinnies ng about it senselessly for several years like you all are doing on NL. These are undiluted facts. |
Politics › Re: British Government Apologise For Biafran War!!!! Nawa by dustmalik(m): 11:52pm On May 25, 2016 |
ayokellany: Why can't you people just admit that you n your leader during the Biafra war are all failures.
You are here whinning about an embargo, can you people not learn from countries that Crimea Ukrain Syria Yemen etc that understand what international relationship is all about. Why can't you people query why your own leaders are not able to have someone with superior war arsenal at their disposal fight your cause.
Why not take a moment to understand all of these so that you can comprehend what a foolish man Ojukwu was for sacrificing 2 million Biafrans in a war he knew he can not win. Why do you lament over foolishnrs and lack of foresight everyday on NL while blaming others over his poor judgement instead of condemning and scolding his generation yet unborn for condemning his people to death. Have you not read about Ghandi before ? Nice one. |
