APC should do all in its power to prevent him from getting the party's ticket...He's not a loyal party man....
He claims that late Audu didn't resign as a member of APC board of trustees, yet he was allowed to contest for primaries. Though, that isn't right. But he shouldn't have resolved to anti-party activities. He even took the case to court

Yahaya Bello should be punished...He openly supported Wada over Audu his party Man... He never envisaged this type of scenario...
Yahaya Bello messed up big time. His kinsmen are very angry with him right now. He actually made it known that he was going to support Wada, and even made money available for that purpose

James Faleke should go to court. I'm sure the SC will nullify the said primary election. The EA never give room for conduct of primary during election. James Faleke should be the substantive candidate of APC.
I also don't think it's possible to conduct primaries while there is already an ongoing election. I don't believe this news

In the light of the new development. I think Yahaya bello should replace Audu since he came second in the primaries to avoid any legal loophole the other parties might want to exploit. For the Igala's they already have a minister in the person of ocholi who happens to come from the same Dekina LGA with wada, the okuns have the deputy in the person of faleke while the Ebira's will now be allowed to produce the Governor. I think this will balance things in the state. In addittion, to appease the Igala's the more maybe they should also be allowed to produce the speaker while the okun's will produce the deputy speaker of the house of assembly.

kahal29:
Since you are familiar with the area who from the igala axis do you think the party should field at this particular time cos fielding a non igala might not go down well with the igalas and they may use their numerical strenght in the state assembly to frustrate the person. Considering that faleke is a Christian so it stands to reason that the person should also be a Muslim. You can also help to classify the candidates that participated in the last primaries according to their tribe.
I really don't know much about the other candidates in the primaries. But the way I see it, Tinubu will make sure Faleke replaces Audu. He might concede the deputy to Yahaya Bello, since he came second in the primaries.

You know I'm not from Kogi State though very closed to Kogi. Apart from Abatemi and Yahaya Bello, I don't know if there's any other Egbira there. I also saw it somewhere here that one Sanusi is Igala and I believe those with Yoruba names are from the Kabba (Okun) axis [Kogi West]. If they're to choose among those who contested against him and they insist on Igala person, then Sanusi comes to mind. BTW, what part of Kogi is Barr. James Ocholi (SAN) from?
Sanusi Abubakar is Ebira. In fact, he is related to Yahaya Bello. They are both from the same clan (Eresu Ehebe).

Guy, forget it. If Faleke is Tinubu's candidate, which I believe he is, Tinubu will not let that happen. He'll only concede deputy to Yahaya Bello.

but pdp won taraba state not isiaku .
From the get-go, everything was wrong with the PDP primaries.

First, they didn't conduct their primaries in the state capital but Abuja.
Second, they didn't conduct their primaries within the stipulated time.

So, there are no basis of comparison between Kogi and Taraba.
PoliticsRe: APC Will Only Substitute Audu For Kogi Supplementary Election - Attorney General by dustmalik(m): 4:07pm On Nov 24, 2015
Let's be honest with ourselves. This decision, if true, is challengeable at the courts, since the electoral Act or constitution didn't exactly envisage this situation.

Nope, cancelled votes mean cancelled votes. If an election did not take place, then there is no vote to cancel. This is a sad commentary on Nigeria really. Any INEC official that says votes were cancelled in a place where election never took place is an olodo. If election never took place, then you can say the election itself was cancelled, not that the votes were cancelled. This is really sad
Clearly, you are deliberately being dumb. If the cancelled votes are not the sum eligible number of voters where accreditation and voting didn't take place, then show me where inec differentiate them. Or show me those figures.
PoliticsRe: Shameless Rigging Of Kogi Election Exposed - Pic by dustmalik(m): 1:51pm On Nov 24, 2015

No son! Cancelled votes and rejected votes are not the same thing. Rejected votes are votes that dont meet the voting criteria e.g. votes that were cast across the line or votes that are too faint to recognise. Cancelled votes are votes cancelled because of election irregularities. Even the Channels picture shows that clearly
I'll not repeat this again. Read the emboldened until you understand it.

Cancelled votes specifically means the sum of eligible number of voters where accreditation and voting didn't take place, given the number of registered voters in that area.
PoliticsRe: Shameless Rigging Of Kogi Election Exposed - Pic by dustmalik(m): 1:35pm On Nov 24, 2015

There is nothing like cancelled votes from places election did not take place. You cannot cancel a vote that was never cast. Cancelled votes mean the votes were cast then cancelled. Please stop this foolery! Its really pathetic!
What you just defined is actually called 'Rejected votes' in an election. Please, get some election education.

Stopping making a fool of yourself in public. You cannot cancel possible votes. Why are you this dumb? Canceled votes means the votes were actually casted. In your bid to defend your partisan stance, you are really embarrasing yourself here. So sad
Stop posting rubbish. Cancelled votes, in this case, specifically means the sum of eligible number of voters where accreditation and voting didn't take place, given the number of registered voters in that area.
PoliticsRe: Shameless Rigging Of Kogi Election Exposed - Pic by dustmalik(m): 1:27pm On Nov 24, 2015
The focus is cancelled votes. Cancelled consists mainly of places where accreditation and voting didn't take place at all. For those who watched the Inec announcement, they specifically said elections didn't take place in some areas as a result of security concerns.

So, what exactly is confusing the wailers?

common sense should tell you that total cancelled vote will include people that are eligible to vote and not necessarily those that voted. That in the maximum inec is expecting during the rerun.Or how inec wan take count where voting was disrupted or ballot/report sheet snathed
They have no common sense. They simply want to wail.

That is just your wish. Inec can't decide anything on its own, since this situation is not envisaged in the constitution or electoral act. They must approach the supreme court for a pronouncement on the matter.

Though, the position of the electoral act is the most likely thing to do right now.
Well, in this case, there is no position on this matter, either in the electoral act or constitution. The right thing to do is for Inec or the AGF to approach the supreme court directly and asked it to make a pronouncement on this particular case.

PoliticsRe: Alhaji Yahaya Bello: The New APC Gubernatorial Candidate In Kogi State by dustmalik(m): 11:30pm On Nov 22, 2015
OP, Yahaya Bello betrayed APC before and during the election. He supported Wada, and even made money available, so as to ensure Audu losses. The APC leadership already know about it, so they will not field him no matter what. If you are an Ebira, find out from those who are in-the-know. His kinsmen are seriously angry with him right now.

Yahaya Bello's anger stems from the fact that he couldn't get the party's ticket, so he decided to betray Audu.

Thus, my prediction suggests a combination of YAHAYA & FALEKE.

Do you think INEC would gather the courage to declare Wada of PDP victorious without any tangible electoral basis? An opposition party?

A fresh election must be conducted
There won't be any fresh election. Status quo will be maintained. APC still leads with 40,000 votes plus. The pending status quo belongs to the party, not Audu.
