I totally agree, and a lot of Nigerians have bad hand washing routine, it is a fact, and our mobile phones are a meeting point for all the bacteria we have been accumulating all day, week and months. If some people remove their phone case cover for you, you will be so disgusted.

Am telling you, it's something we use everyday but we easily ignore the cleanliness of it

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran recently appeared in a New York City court to deny allegations that his hit song "Thinking Out Loud" copied Marvin Gaye's 1973 classic "Let's Get It On".

Sheeran, Warner Music Group, and Sony Music Publishing are accused of stealing the song by Gaye's co-writer, Ed Townsend, according to Townsend's heirs.

As the court proceedings began, the lawyer for Gaye's heirs also referred to Sheeran's song "Take it Back," which also contains the lyrics "plagiarism is hidden."

This isn't Sheeran's first time facing accusations of plagiarism or infringement. Some of his earlier works, like "Photograph", have often been compared to musician Matt Cardle's song "Amazing".

In 2017, he was sued by two songwriters who claimed that his hit song "Shape of You" copied their song "Oh Why". The case was settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.

On a "royalty-free music generator" like Mubert, it's already possible to type in a prompt, and the program will use Al to search🔎 a catalog of music for patterns📃. Tell it to play a "fast voodoo rhythm in the style of a nursery rhyme with some pretty electronics", and it will copy parts of songs💿 that correspond and generate music to match. You can also generate music that sounds like a particular artist, and whatever tracks you create are downloadable.😮

This all boils down to whether we still believe human creativity deserves greater protection than machine creativity.

18th April 2023, INEC decided to write to the Inspector-General of Police to investigate and possibly prosecute the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Adamawa State, Barr. Hudu Yunusa Ari.

This decision was made after the REC announced Aisha 'Binani' Dahiru of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the supplementary election in Adamawa, which was deemed invalid and a usurpation of the powers of the collation and returning officer.

The election was initially declared inconclusive by INEC on the ground that the number of cancelled votes exceeded the margin of lead between the two parties on March 18. However, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Ahmadu Fintiri, emerged as the winner of the supplementary governorship election held on April 15th.

If you feel like you're not getting paid enough, you're probably not alone.

While average wages have been increasing, they haven't been keeping up with the rising cost of living, which means many people are finding it harder to get by. Recent months have seen waves of strikes, with tens of thousands of workers walking out in disputes over pay, jobs and conditions.

We spoke to recruiters, a manager and a workplace psychologist to get five tips on how to best negotiate for more money.

1. Choose the right time

Jill Cotton, a career trends expert at jobs site Glassdoor, says scheduling a talk in advance will allow you and your boss time to prepare and means you're more likely to have a productive conversation.

"Don't spring this on your line manager," Ms Cotton says. "Be upfront and say that you want to book in a conversation that is specifically about pay."

2. Bring evidence

If you're asking for a pay rise, you should have lots of evidence of why you deserve one.

"Know what you've achieved either from a work setting or what you've done to develop yourself, maybe to support your team, support your line managers. List all the pros of what you've done," says Shan Saba, a director at Glasgow- based recruitment firm Brightwork.

3. Have a figure in mind

Most experts agree it's best to have an exact figure in mind before embarking on a conversation about pay.

Do your research, advises James Reed, chair of the recruitment firm Reed.

"You can go online and look at job adverts and see what other comparable jobs are being recruited for and what the salaries are," he says.
