yellowpawpaw: Yes o! What do u want me to say naw?Is that all? |
okpara ugo: Eyah, maybe you played away some chances.. people you should have taken seriosly were flung aside. Not necessarily not taken them serious.. But ladies tend to be in a bit of a hurry. Marriage is a life time commitment. It no longer surprises me when they start calling after about a year or two of married life. My response is always "I don't keep friends with married ladies".. |
yellowpawpaw: R u d guy?Is that the only contribution you have to make? |
Ashabie: Thank you for that question,my friend bot a freezer because she think she needed it and the hubby is not ready to buy it,this leads to a serious fight whereby I was the beneficiary of the freezer, until the freezer left the house before peace was restored.and what the hubby was saying was even if your salary is times 3 of mine, its none of my business, you must learn how to make use of what I can afford, not interested in your support.where is your friend please or do you have more of such friends? I hate men who don't earn much behaving as if their wives income does not matter in the scheme of things. Abeg money is important regardless of who earns what.... I will prefer my woman making contributions without me prompting her. |
1forall: Death for corrupt practices would be the most effective policy. This will most likely reduce the incidence of corrupt practices, and also corrupt persons will most likely leave the country. |
DarryOsh: I like to think that i stil hav time on my side (early twenties) but i try to prepare. This marriage of a thing is a big deal! Sometimes it seems that one can never prepare enough. I have seen circumstances turn great marrriages into something else. Please can you give us an example of those standards. Because I was once young and thought I would have settled years ago, but I am not even sure of doing it this year. irrespective of my earnings, I don't really lack money, so I wouldn't attribute my bachelorhood to lack of money. |
alutacontinua: *spreads mat on thread*abeg take you Aluta go politics or anyother thread. I will pour you water ohh...hmmm...ehhn..... you people bear me witness oh, I will pour her water if she does not remove that mat. |
Sojebrand: “We also want him to hand over power to an Igbo man"Bro if Jonathan wins a second term in office, Igbos should just forget the idea of coming to power in 2019. Because it won't happen. The best hope maybe 2027 hoping that Nigeria as a country will still exist then. hmm intresting |
FSU: All genuine Igbos stand with GEJAre you a Genuine Igbo youth? If you are, I SMH for your likes who believe that selling their votes for a plate of porridge or even empty promises is the way to go. |
DeCleff: A Picture of Governor Amaechi and Dame Patience Jonathan In 2010Mama and Son. |
naptu2: Is Charles McGill (who adopted the name Aswad Ayinde) a nigerian?MODs are part of the problem on NL. Moreover, some people can't see beyond their bigotry. NB I am Igbo, but very relieved to know McGill is not actually a Nigerian, he just adopted the Nigerian name. |
^^^Ok. Both intending partners are the last child of their respective parents (Little or no major responsibilities). Don't think the girl will get a job right away in her field of study (yet to go on service). No, the girl is not expensive but the guy is another matter (got a car and his taste in clothing is a bit refined). The guys job is stable (if he stays there) but doesn't pay much. Though if he combines it with income from other runs it makes up to that 80. Actually commitment scares the guy, because it comes with real responsibility |
chaircover: A woman who is ready to be married, will already know how much her husband earns and where her help is needed financially and will not need any agreement to be in place before she starts picking up bills as necessary. What of where the lady earns nothing, just graduated from Uni. Moreover she has not yet shown signs of being enterprising and the man's income is not up to a 80k, should they still go ahead and tie the knot..... the man doesn't need to bother about house rent. |
We Voted for GEJ and not PDP....Ngwanu, e don they red for una abi.... The project he is about tackling is the second Niger bridge, which I learnt will be handled by Julius Berger after which a toll gate will be mounted to recover cost... It is here again.... GOODLUCK EBELE(MI) AZIKIWE JONATHAN for 2015..... After winning the election, Azikiwe will finally be dropped forever and ever......And he will come back to tell you people I Don't Give A Damn(abi na Dame) |
Please do not tribalise this. It is heart-breaking that this is now the new trend with Nigerian men. Of all th billions of women in the world, the one that will give you se.xual urge is your own flesh and blood. It is an abomination. NB For those making bigotic statement, this abomination does not affect only one tribe. |
legendsilver: no b bicycle dem dey talk here o!!!! Na moto, as in four big tyres not two small tiny round tyres o!!!!!!.Eehhn now... him fit get four big tyres, but him no go get wheels..... car na car..... even if na motor mixture. |

Guys who cannot say NO or Walk away from such situation are just Immature. I was once interested in a girl and has been taking her out from time to time. Then she travelled out of town and came back. When I asked her for a date, she agreed. But when I drove to the place am supposed to pick her up, I saw her with a friend and both of them jumped into the car. I simply asked after her welfare and where exactly they were both headed to. She got the mesaage and told she was going to buy something in the market. I dropped them off and promised to see her later. That was the last time I saw her. Girls if you must com with your friend, please tell the guy before hand let him prepare. Taking guys unawares and making them over spend their budget is not really nice.. Guys, be bold to say NO or walk away. It is your money that will be spent at the end of the day and moreover you won't get to spend quality time with your "babe" |
Lobsan Rampa: I think this story was fabricated in order to draw attention and mislead people. Here is the reason..... The Bishop noted that in the 17- year history of the church, no owner of any car in his church had died of accident “Christ Victory Life Church has been given a covenant since 1996. God declared it to me that you are going to serve people that are living, not the dead!” That means if you come to "Christ Victory Life Church" your life will be insured, but I am not sure of your car... |
SELFWORTH: |
drnairalov: i also heard a testimony. about a pastor who was travelling in a red jeep, some robbers attacked on d highway with a similar jeep nd fled; police went on a search party on d highway tryn to get the robbers, they sighted d red jeep belonging to d Pastor quicktime stopped him nd ordered him to get down; they started raining bullets on him; but it ddnt harm him, d bullets were falling off him; while d clothe he wore was pierced...i dnt knw how TRUE dis testimony is, m yet to believe it cos some one told me i think its a redeem testimony of choosen..aint sure'' |
I don't give a damn |
Yerima on my mind |
kain-kain is not good for mental stability. Asari Tokunbo should take a stand and defend it. What does he really want? Today, he will threaten Nigerians that unless GEJ is voted in again we will not know peace. Tomorrow he will say GEJ is going down. One day he will be a Nigerien Another day he will be a Nigerian....... Abeg make that guy park well. |
I thought some die hard muslims said Mohammed (S A W) married Aisha as an adult and that it was Aisha who out of mischief lied that she was an under-aged girl when Mohammed married her. ********************************************** I blame the massive rate iliteracy in the North. Because I don't see how idiots like Yerima can still move around after all the law he & his associates broke under The Sharia Law, while he punished the poor and allowed the rich to get away with their crime. |
Kingsley OGBITI: GodBros no vex, na God need the peace? |
Abu Shuluwa so be it. Some of us may not support GEJ, but if Northerners keep spitting nonsense like this, we may as well throw our wait behind GEJ and let's see what will happen. Let the come, come and the happen, happen.....(apologies Blue eyes1) |
Abagworo: Yes Arthur has his flaws which is even on record but it does not stop him from saying some truths. I even have a feeling he went to Abuja for his share.Arthur Nzeribe is part of the people who brought in disunity in Igbo land. If all people should advice Ndigbo on Unity, Arthur should not. |
@adetoks2010, Sometime ago I used to be like your hubby. What I mean by this: I wil tell my girl exactly where am going, and when she calls (I don't do BBM) and start asking questions that may seem she is snooping, I will get angry and cut the line.....Infact, I do it on almost everybody...... sisters, auntys, friends, cousins etc. Maybe because I am a bit hot tempered not because I want to disrespect them. Again, my word is my bond... I will hardly lie to someone. But I have to start learning to overcome my temper and communicate "maturedly" when my last ex left (though she wants a re-union now). To your problem and possible solution: If you can reduce the bb chatting to the barest minimum, responding only when he initiates it. Seem to careless (in action) but do your wifely duties. If he loves you as I think, I believe he will notice and try to change. You must understand that most arrogant men and men quick to temper are just babies at heart. He is trying to overcome some "percieved hidden manliness" that is why he is quick with his tongue or fingers. |
