Politics › Re: Jonathan Using A Light Microscope At Federal University Otuoke by eagleeye2: 10:09am On Jun 30, 2013
egift: Jonathan is not our father. He is a servant. The chief servant for that matter. That is why it is called "Civil Service". A truth our polititians only know during election season. So stop confusing yourself.
I may not call him your Father or anyone's Father, Jonathan is the Leader of this Nation (No matter how much we hate to admit that). He is the First citizen of Nigeria and as your leader you should at least respect him.
I do criticize JEG a lot, but I don't call him names, because I realise that is the Leader of Nigeria and invariably my Leader. All I can do is wait for 2015 and hope Nigeria elects a more worthy person. But so far, I have not seen any worthy contender.

If judging by this thread alone, I will say that Nigeria still has hope.
A person like Desola comes out to call a spade a spade, then we have hope, be it in the east, west, north

Politics › Re: Abia And There Governor. by eagleeye2: 7:43am On Jun 19, 2013
emindu: Aba has been the centre of criticism against the Ochendo government. But the critics did not seem to understand the history of the cumulative decay of the city which started with the previous administrations of the state, but today the roads in aba is different thing now, that the people can now enjoy good roads in the area
This type of eye sore is why Aba people can't speak good of T.A. Orji

The death of those boys could have been anyones child(ren), nephew, cousins, relations. We do not have to act the Ostrich in a situation like this. I believe that powerful personalities visits the Forum, you voice need to be heard at a time like this.
EVIL THRIVES WHEN A FEW GOOD MEN KEEP SILENT IN THE FACE OF EVIL ACTS.
THE MAN DIED IN ANYONE WHO KEEPS SILENT IN THE FACE OPPRESSION.
I am not in anyway related to those boys, and I never met them. But it could have been anyone's brother (or even sister). This case should not be swept under the carpet. Speak out all.
JUSTICE FOR ONE IS JUSTICE FOR ALL.

Gentle me: If we stage any protest they'll call it ''politically motivated''

If we take to the streets, they'll call it ''youth restiveness''

If we root up placards to remind the evil perpetrators of ALUU of their gruesome act, they'll call us ''sponsored''

But am glad that though Justice may tarry it must surely PREVAIL...however long it takes! And to our leaders #WeAreWatching!
The Social Media is a Powerful force. Let us use it to our advantage, and something tells me that anything that trends on NL gets the notice of Our Ogas at the top.
Keep spamming NL with this topic and get people talking about Aluu again.
Their parents may not have the power of the OSUKOGU'S, OR the IWEALA's but they have us the concerned Nigerians.

JUSTICE FOR ONE, IS JUSTICE FOR ALL.

myself009: People talk as if they are not in nigeria. The judicial system is our big problem. Don't be surprised if this case ends in buck-passing with the judge blaming the prosecutor, who in turn will blame the Police. The police will find a ready excuse by blaming their incompetence on witnesses. In the end the case ends no-where!
IF ONLY CONCERNED PEOPLE WILL AGREE TO USE THE POWER OF THE SOCIAL MEDIA TO SHAME OUR LEADERS, everything and anything don't have to remain the same.
