baba dey: Understood...but me kwestion is,why would a person like slim negotiate for a discount on a SINGLE,I mean SINGLE tiehuh... When bill gate was interviewed by oprah winfrey,he was asked how does he feel when he makes $1million in every minutes instead of replying her immediately,he brought out his check book wrote a sum of 1million dolls and called a person from her audience and gave him the cheque, the man was silent for minutes shocked to the extent he couldn't move nor say thank you and replied her "that's how I feel"
bros, everyone can't do like Gates did. Moreover the man (Slim) said he doesn't believe that you can wipe out poverty by making donations.
He worked for his money and he feels that it is irrational of him to over pay for an item. He wants to make the best bargain in every deal he is involved, either buying or selling.
-CARLOS SLIM HELU

His dad (who later died when he was 13) also taught him the art of book-keeping, record-keeping and how to read financial sheets, a skill that would be with him for life.

His kids also studied in Mexican secondary schools and universities and did not go abroad to get their degrees.

Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/iyaniwurablog
Am only interested in the above. The lesson to be learned is that "you cannot give what you don't have"
First his father taught him the rudiments of business (business education).
Secondly, he has confidence in his country's educational system. So he never allowed his own kids to school abroad.

Our own wealthy men and women (I mean the POLITHIEVCIANS) will rather destroy our educational system and think that by flying their children abroad, they will be better equiped to take up from where they stopped. But alas, they will only gain "paper education/qualification" abroad and come back to Naija to squander what their fathers and mothers have stolen from the nation.
Then talk to her about it or ask her directly if she's seeing anyone.
If I were in your shoes (God forbid grin) I would become more friendlier and earn her trust that she will be able to confide in me if anyone is trying to woo her.
Trust me such would always happen so having a very healthy and open line of communication with your partner will allow her to trust you with every single detail of her daily goings. That to me is a healthy relationship. Just try and show some understanding.
I don't really know if any girl will open up to tell that she is double dating, expecially when s,ex may have been introduced into the other relationship.

Moreover, I am a very blunt guy (which may be my undoing). I call a spade a spade when I see one.
I don't understand what you mean by "just compromise on trust".
Please explain.
You girlfriend (actually someone you intend marrying), she can keep the house neat, she can cook, she is respectful, she is accommodating of your friends and relations; but you can't Trust her when she is out of your sight.
This is just not a case of being unnecessarily jealous, the tale tell signs of double dating are just everywhere even when you try to ignore them.
Family › Trust In Relationship by eagleeye2(op): 7:18pm On Feb 16, 2013
How do you deal with infidelity? How do you even Trust that person again, even when they say that such cannot happen again?
Should we just compromise on Trust if the person has other Lovable Characteristics?

Someone should give me answers please.

Demdem: why would he even go into such an agreement in the first place? It shows that the retardeen is simply desperate for power.
Desperate for power, YES. But in this particular case the Northern guys should understand that GEJ is better than them at this game called POLITICS.
This was a guy who was among the inner caucus of PDP that signed "power rotation" agreement and never deemed it fit to Honor when it suited him. How on earth do they think that he will honor this particular one.
Moreover, since when did Nigerian politicians start honoring their words.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Signed An Agreement For One-Term - Aliyu by eagleeye2: 2:38pm On Feb 16, 2013
Demdem: Am waiting for Abati and Co to come and deny this. The retardeen simply need to fulfill his part of the agreement.
IF IT WAS YOU, WILL YOU FULFILL IT. Abeg, no dey talk like person wey no go school.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Signed An Agreement For One-Term - Aliyu by eagleeye2: 1:50pm On Feb 16, 2013
DivideUs: The fact that these fools made him sign something proves how dumb and stvpiid he is and how selfish they are, let's wise up, drive them out and get a reliable under 40 guy/babe to run for president and vice and lock all these fools up.
The problem with Nigerians is that we always underestimate the person of GEJ.
GEJ ain't dumb or foolish. He knows very well that he can sign a 100 agreement and still renege on it. He will only play the victim card and from the tone of this thread, people are already hedging him on.

Abeg you guys should wake up. Without a solid opposition Flag bearer, I see GEJ coasting to victory in 2015.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Signed An Agreement For One-Term - Aliyu by eagleeye2: 1:38pm On Feb 16, 2013
Nigerians are funny beings. How do you expect a man that was part of those who signed an agreement for power rotation in 1999 but did not honor it when it suit him, to honour an agreement for ONE SINGLE TERM.

Abegiii, Nigerians get exactly the type of leaders that suits them.

braine: Goldie dies and d first person Denrele calls is Linda Ikeji. How does that sound? huh
Linda and Denrele are not just your kinda ordinary friends, they have been close since their days in UNILAG and both happened to be class mates.
So it doesn't sound weird that Linda will be the first blogger to get the info.
