wild child: Why is the insider just voicing out now? Why didn't PEGASSAN abi werin b dem name no deny werin Omar tok abt total shut down?if you had read the story/ account of the insider, you will know that a repeat of what happened in June 1996 would have happened to anybody who raised a contrary opinion. NLC/TUC, is one of the reasons why a successful demonstration can never be carried out by Nigerians. Make we dey dia they deceive ourselves. Moreover this ain't a surprise. |

Burger01: Hehehehe... Should I laugh or should I cry... SmhAbati wants you to be happy, knowing that you feed better than His President.... (shey na upon 1 billion Naira budget for food) |
Presidential spokesman Reuben Abati said this in a recent interview. You can visit the site below to read the interview. www.chidoonumah.com/2013/01/many-nigerians-eat-better-food-in-their.html?m=1#axzz2HQk2rP2Y |
Wait ooh. Is this man not supposed to be the Woman's Next of Kin.... why should the authority of Jehova witness family or any other family superceed that of the hubby... I tire for some people. RIP madam. |
Which one be Suhhanallah |
I believe that the act of begging is embedded in some peoples DNA, it is hereditary. Anybody with an atom of self respect will really cringe at the thought of begging someone else for anything, unless it is ones parent. Even at that, at a certain stage begging your parents becomes a bit difficult if you have self respect. I for one, I have never recieved any alms from a friend abroad. They call me (because they keep changing numbers) or I chat with them on social media. And that is why, almost all of them try to hook up with me when they are in the country. Many Nigerians don't have self respect. |
Odunnu: You must have laughed at the joke of I will rather kill myself than commit suicide.Gbamest. |
If my girlfriend comes around she will just take over the remote, watching only Nollywood channels. Sometimes I join just to make her happy, otherwise I go into the room to rest and browse the net. |
collinsoft: I really appreciate all ur comment so far but d question i wanna ask is if its bad to shower someone u love with gift. The relationship we had was nt money based, infact i did all did because i saw the need to do them. She uses a nokia1100 tied with a rubber band because d casing of d phone is bad. I bought her curve4 because i wanted her to appreciate the fact dat i love her n besides i always felt ashamed seeing her use dat kind of phone wen i knw she deserve beta than dat. All d gift i bought was because i wanted her to feel happy in the relationship nt because am a 'moni miss road', bt wen u allow ladies they ask for allowanceYou didn't do anything wrong. Cut your loses and move on. But most importantly, learn from this mistake. Ungrateful people (ladies) abound, but you still have some well brought up people (ladies). |
But if a guy has d moni,y wont he take care of his babe.Or does he expect sum1 else 2 come n take care of his babe 4 him.
So the boyfriend na him PAPA. (bobos una dey hear this babe)
Besides, wat abt guys dt see having sex wit their girls as their right just cos they are dating them. wat do u say abt dt or is nt d same thing as girls saying 'cos u are dating me, u must give me moni'. Chai, this thing na true oooh. (MONEY FOR HAND, BACK FOR GROUND) Na Trade by Batter. |
Dnt worry, very soon u wil loose her 2 som1 willing 2 appreciate her fully.Must u always live in ur paste Cruxifying every girl dt come ur way cos of 1 bad experience.Up to 95 percent of our boys n girls hv had bad experiences in d hands of their partners but these does nt justify them condeming every1 else.
I am a nice guy naturally. And my experiences.... (forget about it)Like 2sexy said, "if she is mine, she will stay." Moreover, am laying solid foundation for the future. She knows about some of it. |
slimyem: Wicked acts are not peculiar to any gender. But you know being ungrateful and wicked applies more to your gender. |
so wat r u still doing wit her
Dating her, giving her trials. If after every every and she is still there, I will put a ring on it. |
if u want them to drain u before u find out if their intentions are good or bad that's fine. U do your thing
Though I will be more careful... For instance, am dating a wonderful babe at the moment, but it breaks my heart knowing that I'm not really doing for her, half of what she has done for me. She cooks and does my laundry anytime she is around and the sex is readily available. But, from ugly experiences am finding it hard to appreciate her fully. |
slimyem: LADIES are just ungrateful and wicked. |
If u gonna give, give to the right person, someone you will not regret giving ask Urself if u are giving to someone who loves u back or someone who is willing to do the same for u
I will quote the words of Shakespear, "there is no act to find the mind's construction on the face". Life is too short to go about suspecting every word or actions of a person. If you can't be bold enough to Trust, you can never truely love irrespective of the different heart-breaks we face. All broken hearted persons should be consoled with the words of Mario Puzo, "Lovers will always Love again". Moreover I ain't gonna change my nature because of one or two selfish individuals. Though I will be more careful. |
this is ridiculous...don't u have a mouth? Can't u say 'no I can't afford it' or 'no I have other plans with my money'
Moondi dear, you and I know that in some of this relationships the guy spends this money not because he can't say know or he is being forced, but because he cares for his girlfriend. How will you feel seeing someone whom you care for in need and you have means to help but would rather not. Someone once said, " you can give without loving, but you CANNOT love without giving." This is the same reason why a girl will come to a guys house to cook and clean and even use her own money to buy little gifts for the guy. She equally spend money on beauty regiments just for the guy to appreciate her... My dear, people should go into relationships being honest than being deceitful. |
if my parents can afford buying me a car, why wld I go for someone who will struggle to buy a phone
you said your parents can afford it... Am sorry to say this, there are some gurls out there whose parents can't afford giving them a NOKIA 3310. But they will get a nice guy and decide to use him as a meal ticket. There is what is called pride where I come from... the idea of "please buy me" syndrome is not associated with us. |
digitalgeorgy: When men poss themselves as millionaire jst to gain attention, this is what they experience.I have dated a girl whom I didn't woo with money. Infact I didn't spend up to 1000 (taking her out) before I had s,ex with her. She showed me love in the beginning and even got me the usual gift, vest. I relaxed my guard and decided to reciprocate her love, but I have to stop when I noticed she isn't what she portrayed at first. So it's not about wooing a lady with money, am sorry, but most ladies are simply selfish and greedy. I have a girl now who has shown beyond a doubt that she is not after material things, but I ain't letting my guard down again. I will only spend for a lady, when she is legally mine (married). |
badjack: "This was totally unexpected," Marotta said in a phone interview. "The very first thing that went through my mind was that no good deed goes unpunished."Wetin concern agbero with overload... I believe the State of Kansas is sending out a subtle message to the Lesbo groups "you can't eat your cake and have it." And a deterent to spim (sperm) donors. |
LadyTC: This is not even a question, the stay banning my comments and allow threads like this survive. Smh so many people think marriage is a wlk in the park.No be quarrel nah... |
Am sorry about your fate. But what if you or your wife is actually AS. I have seen a case where a man thought all along that he is AA only for him to have an SS son and start accusing his wife of infidelity. But later on through another genotype testing it was confirmed that the man and his wife are actually AS. If you doubt is this strong, what wrong will a DNA test do. Rather it will actually confirm your doubt, and seal the fate of your wife. I will say, do the DNA test and put your mind at rest. |
Vikin: Ratio of 50-50 its still good.Walahi talai, I will like to meet you in real life. You are a very interesting character. hahahahaha |
Vikin: Read again, the money i stached away is my money! Moi meme! (Yrs of working offshore) and its my retirement money from working offshore.I have no problem with comprehension. I aslo know that IT'S YOUR MONEY. My question is, why is it a SECRET from hubby? So if hubby, happens to keep a secret from his past before he met you and married you, IT IS NO BIG DEAL. By that extent, hubby or hubbies are free to keep love children they had before the marriage from their spouses and it will not be A BIG DEAL. You know what I am saying, you equally understand my arguement but you will rather turn a blind eye to the Truth. |
Vikin: Dishonest indeed!Vikin, how then do you explain to him at that point that you have been staching away money without his knowlgde? And if I were to be betting man, I will say that your reason above was not your initial intent on staching away money. Rather it could be as a back up plan, incase oga Vikin f..k up. |
Vikin: Go make some cash and quit complaining!Abeg, vikin this is not about Big Boys. You are being dishonest in your marriage and you know it (you may call it nothing). Like I said earlier, if Oga were to do the same thing you are doing, will just accept it as NORMAL thing. Marriage is a little more than Business partnership. |
Vikin: I trust him so much that he wont do the same...even if he does, not my business as long as my little allowee no short. Vikin: I trust him so much that he wont do the same...even if he does, not my business as long as my little allowee no short. Vikin: I TRUST him so much that he wont do the same...even if he does, not my business as long as my little allowee no short. So why can't you keep that trust by not doing the same and seeing as you have already done it, why not let him know what you have done. You never can tell, your Best Laid plan may just backfire. |
Vikin: On issue of marriage partnership, I hearby confess of having some income hubby doesnt know it exist. After we met, i moved my hard earned cash and tendered the remaining as account balance for partnershipFor your mind you don act sharp gurl, abi? If hubby do the same he becomes a liar and someone who cannot be trusted. |
Callotti: OR SHE WILL GET IT FROM SOMEWHERE ESLE. . .if she is like me o!Like I said earlier today, you never fail to disappoint. |
slimyem: From your comments, you sure won't rest and will always have questions so i'll say go find out whatever you want to.It helps that this lady has given you the go-ahead and has also prepared you for whatever you might find.Thanks. Am just seeking for advice here, and will definitely allow God to guide me in this decision. The thing is, am yet to get answers or sign from my prayers. |
She is right. How can your family not know about a woman you plan to marry and truly love. Firstly it seems you don"t trust her and "her background" or whatever excuse you think of. If you are not proud of her and have to find excuses and even need to ask strangers than you definately are not ready for marriage. Do yourself and that gal a favour and let her go.
There is what you call a bcakground check, when you want to get married. My family doesn't know about her, because I don't want family interference untill am ready to propose. |
