One thing that is very clear is that the Yoruba are the most accommodating tribe in Nigeria; no one can deny that. However, what have we got in return - hate and envy especially from the Igbos. The Hausa/Fulani are suspicious of the Youruba but they do not hate the Yoruba. The are also accommodating to the Yorubas.

The Edo/Isekiri/Urhoro are siblings to the Yorubas even though they have their own identity. The Efik/Ibibio are somewhat indifferent to the Yoruba but that is fine. The Igbos outright hate the Yoruba and it is time Yorubas become very conscious of this hatred.

Everyday they are castigating Tinubu, Fayemi and Osinbajo; and other potential Yoruba presidential candidates. The other day they were calling Yoruba women undesirable and dirty. All of them were hating on Peter Okoye for marrying a “dirty Yoruba woman” - a woman who is more educated and exposed than anyone in their generation. They insult the same Lagos where they live - why don't they just go back to Onitsha and Aba.

They insult anything Yoruba- from Anthony Joshua, Wizkid, Tiwa and everything Yoruba. These insults are not unnoticed. Yoruba will not forget and will surely retaliate!

How is it a problem? Lagos was once the national capital for 30 years, and has diverse people there. What's wrong in convasing vote of Igbos in Lagos by showing appearance? People always forget the previous national status of Lagos. It is only Lagos and Abuja that have such diversity. Not even PH has such diversity. You can see how people think but still shout one Nigeria. What kind of one Nigeria are we practicing when we don't travel.

Igbos don't necessarily hate Tinubu. They might have disagreed on the choice of Buhari as a Presidential candidate which eventually Igbos seems to have got absolutely right over time.

And again they were shocked that Tinubu decided to go for presidency himself even though he knew it would have been the right thing to let Igbos have a go, because SW had had its turn.

These two things above, in my opinion, pitched the Igbos against the person of Tinubu. If it had gone the other way round, I guess they would have spoken greatly about him. For me I respect his political sagacity. He has a very big opportunity to be in the league of Azikiwe and Awolowo, if he can unite Nigeria thru his political party. But again, his presidential ambition might be a big problem.

Ebunols Martin is a very brave Nigerian who is aligned to truth, justice and equity which is the only thing that will heal Nigeria.

This is the man I will vote for whenever he vie for presidency.
