I agree with Aketi. Even though Ondo is not generating plenty, but he's fighting the right course. All southern governors should support this move. But come to think of it, Lagos is generating crazy amount of money on VAT.

By the same measure and in the spirit of fairness, when it is zoned to South, it should also be narrowed to South East. SE is the only geopolitical zone in the south that is yet to produce president in the current democratic dispensation.

Most of you have a negative mindset to Nigeria yet you pretend to be worried when we feel the brunt of the sabotage of you silent killers of our national aspirations while we place all the blame at the foot of the usual suspects- our leaders.

We are worried by today's Nigeria because those that are currently running it, are not running it well. If we all keep quiet and play ostrich like some of you want us, then one day there will be no Nigeria. We love treating symptoms of a disease instead of the root cause of the disease. It is not today that Naira started suffering but this year alone, it has been a disaster. If the people saddled with the responsibility to drive the country forward are repeatedly poor in decision making and service delivery, do you want us to pretend all is fine. No! I'm yet to see a nation that will grow and stand when citizens are looking the other way when things go wrong. If the current people in authority are performing well, will we not clap for them. What do I stand to gain by painting incompetent person as competent. Is it so as to look good in your eyes? No, let's call a spade a spade. If not that Nigerians are resilient, I don't know where we would have been by now. May be Refugees? So tell your so called leaders to get Nigeria on track for once, and stop causing its derailment and potentiall crash.

Is there any other reason? Of course not. Tomorrow, you will leave again for PDP. Weatherman!

The tension went down significantly with the suspension of Twitter. Strangely, it's the same citizens the FG is trying to protect. All these political and economic sabotage affect the commoners more than PMB. It's just that nothing the government can do that will satisfy you lot.

The fact is that truth is bitter and very unpleasant to the ears of the guilty, but it has to be said no matter what. The sad reality is that the current government have lost confidence of average genuine Nigerian.

I really liked the progress made so far by the southern governors on such very key national issues like grazing, vat, etc regardless of party affiliation. They should keep it up. Don't worry about Imo and Ebonyi state governors. They're irredeemable self interested individuals. Try and woe Willy & Ikpeazu to the fold. A strong southern governors forum will checkmate the rigging of the system by the north.

the north saw what the ironsi, azikiwe and ojukwu were trying to do and they made sure they held on to it and kept it that way... they did not owe it to anyone to restore regionalism, If Ironsi and ojukwu coup had lasted for years the same way the northern military lasted for years then Igbos like you won't be saying things like "restore regionalism" because it would have favored Igbos and the whole nation will still be in pain..

Ironsi, Ojukwu through their coup had already rigged the whole system to the favor of who controlled the federal govt.. so all any of the other tribes had to do was control the federal government and in this case the northern soldiers ensured they did...

Well none of the names you mentioned carried out any coup in Nigeria instead they twarted it. And if all you think is that the current mess in Nigeria should remain as far as Igbos never leads Nigeria, then you are only self inflicting wounds to yourself. Igbos are independent in their mind, and only care for justice and equity for all unlike the deceptive neighbors. So enjoy the mess you are proud of, because in una mind u think you are hurting Igbos.

Umahi's 2023 ambition is making him a bit paranoid. He has started losing touch with the people and the grime realities on ground. It was a serious gaffe to suggest that Buhari has served well and is a blessing to Nigeria. That was a careless and unguarded statement that gives out clue of some elements of sychophancy and desperation on him. No wonder Wike recommended Psychological checks.

As usual, using religion to deceive the gullibles. Now 6 years and counting, they could not get a grip of the security disaster going on in the country.

It was ironsi and ojukwu that finished the south by abolishing regionalism and creating a unitary government.

And what did the north do to restore regionalism if they so much loved regional government. None! Rather they went on "military coup" competition, and deceptively took advantage of other tribes, and rigged the whole system for their own selfish benefits. And today the whole nation is in pain. The North rigged the system to their advantage thru military govt. Nearly everything is rigged.

Many Nigerian policemen are poorly trained and uncivilised. They see citizens they're meant to help and protect as enemies. I guess the lady dey vex for police for delaying them, and she started exchanging words with the policeman, culminating to use of abusive words and finally some slaps by the man in uniform.

Wow! It shouldn't have escalated to such an extent as the use of force.

He's using every method to appeal to masses and canvass vote. Judge him later after 2-3 years. If he fails to lift up Anambrarians, then he will be counted as same of the same.
