I thought they are just ordinary bandits, why are they closing schools? |
Are we ever gonna come out of this mess? |
As usual. |
They lost their respect when they started hounding the citizens for criticizing the president. |
Mixed feelings. FG cannot say they don't know who are the sponsors but why they refuse to do the needful is difficult to understand. |
Nigeria needs resetting. It has gone rogue. |
APC government is a failure. |
Let's see if DSS will invite Soyinka for a chat ![]() |
Very sick country |
E shock una? Well, two more years of shocks to come. You better brace yourself and learn the bitter lesson of "never again". |
He is stating the obvious. Buhari's body language when it comes to the matters of Bandits, Miyetti Allah, grazing gives him out as sympathetic. He needs to resign asap, as he can't lead Nigeria effectively with such an mindset. |
The story dey somehow |
Nigerian youths never learn lessons from the misadventures of Hushpuppi and Obinwanne Okeke. Siddon dey salivate about bitcoins and mansions, with time this one's cover go blow too. |
I agree with Irabor on the insider aspect. It's such an absurdity that brings worries to average Nigerians on our security and safety. Let's see how the army will respond. |
Fuji house of commotion indeed. A party that have such a best chance to return to power due to the below par performance of APC in 6 years, could not even muster a solid team. Obviously Wike's gara gara will not help the party, neither is Secondus "siddon dey look" demeanour help. |
If there is no immediate change in baton at the highest level, these unwanton killings will not abate. Nigerians should brace up for the challenges ahead. |
After the scam of 1999 constitution by the military government, yet again (while the real stakeholders are asleep), such a ridiculous clauses were even inserted in the first place. Was this document not peer reviewed by the right representatives? |
APC is such a big disappointment (of unimaginable proportion) while the current PDP is ineffective in checkmating or swaying Nigerians to better alternative. There is no single shinning light among the PDP governors that PDP can leverage on to re-launch and endear itself to Nigerians. A third political force is therefore imminent to stand up for Nigerians in this difficult time. |
There is no point still having Buhari as a president if he cannot have a grip on the terrible security situation in the northern Nigeria. He should be ashamed of himself for such a below par service to Nigerians. The honourable thing to do is for him to resign so that someone else can give it a push. We can't continue enduring while the security situation is now going out of control. Let Buhari go, and let his deputy take over for the remaining two years in the interest of survival of Nigeria. |
I agree with Soludo in setting the bar higher for aspirants (starting from Anambra), so that we don't repeat the collective calamity of putting the likes of Buhari in power. However, higher academic qualification should not be enough, rather should be the barest minimum. Verifiable track records of excellent public or private services would be the main ingredient, while character, unifier and visions would be the key differentiator. |
Chike Ogeah spoke very well and make lots of sense on politics of president of Igbo extraction. Superb! |
These are the so called legislators fighting for their pockets and selfish interests. Tomorrow they will ask you for another vote. |
I don't buy the logic that he chose to present waec certificate. Nigerians! We never learn lessons. If you are really genuine, why should you hide your academic credentials-which could also be a selling point to certain voters? Such a high office as governor requires people with integrity. If at this onset, you can't produce your higher education certificate which you should be proud of, then Buhari 2.0 is about to happen credential-wise. |
No hope at all with this kind of person occupying the position of Senate President. |
Wonders shall never end. Do you ask the mouse to keep watch of smoked fish for you? |
Na so. E no reach heart. |
If we have not been talking, Nigeria would have been a toast by now with the likes of Laurreta & Lai Mohammed telling us what they want us to hear. Thank God for social media! |
What elders see sitting down, even climbing Iroko to see will not help a young uneducated mind. They know themselves. |
This is an absurdity. Beyond abnormal. |
Tonytonex:I agree, but if they really didn't want Taliban why didn't them put in a little resistance at least. They would have formed a local group to counter the Talibans, and that way The West could've found a way to support them. But they ran away cowardly, expecting foreigners to come and fight and die for them. |
Tonytonex:They would have made a tactical gradual withdrawal until the central govt can be able to stand on its feet. What should they do now? Well it is a bit late, but a lot depends on the Afghan people. Do they want Taliban? or prefer non-Taliban govt. At least they have experienced both govts and should be able to make informed decision. |
