PoliticsRe: Mbaka Tells Buhari To Resign Or Be Impeached Over Insecurity (Video) by EagleNest(m): 8:06am On Apr 29, 2021
His eyes have opened after supporting a confirmed incompetent leader. Unfortunately Nigeria have been set back badly and wickedly by APC govt that I doubt if we'll ever come out of this the same as previously.

Mbaka is human just like me and you who thought Buhari we clean up the system base on his previous records but the heart of man is dangerous. Saul was anointed to lead isreal don't forget that. Judas was choosing by Jesus Christ who later betrayed him. The way of man is not the ways of God.
Yes but when Saul started misbehaving his kingship was removed from him. Why did Nigerians vote Buhari the 2nd time after seeing that he has nothing to offer in his 1st term. You make mistake once, yes you could be forgiven so that you learn from it. You repeat the same mistake means, you're either jinxed or dull who like suffering.

You don't experiment with national leadership, b/c so many things(life, destinies, respect, strength, etc) are tied to it. You have to look for the best-the brightest, wisest and smartest, not "siddon-look", unintelligible, uninspiring leader like the one we have today.
PoliticsRe: Father Mbaka Spitfire Ordered Buhari To Resign Or Should Be Impeached. by EagleNest(m): 7:48am On Apr 29, 2021
Priest, businessman & politician all in one. He's now lamenting about Buhari and Hope Uzodinma. Unfortunately the red line has been crossed when people that supposed to be awake were sleeping. You can't elect a person-like Buhari twice and come back and complain that Nigeria is not working! Sorry, the suffering will not end until we tell ourselves the truth and do the right thing.

The chosen few versus the ordinary people. In Nigeria brand of democracy, the people doesn't really have any power, it is the chosen few that commands power.
Why you copy verbatim my contributions in another thread without any acknowledgement of me. That's intellectual robbery.

What good is this meeting when it has not yielded the necessary result. Kind of time wasting for me.
PoliticsRe: SSS Arrests Usman Bugaje For Criticising Buhari’s Handling Of Insecurity by EagleNest(m): 7:28pm On Apr 28, 2021
DSS that couldn't provide sound intelligence to nip at the bud the incessant security issues, are always quick to arrest any voice of criticism.
PoliticsRe: Insecurity: Smart Adeyemi Weeps On Senate Floor by EagleNest(m): 11:41am On Apr 28, 2021
There was a country called Nigeria. Blessed lavishly with everything needed for greatness but failed repeatedly & woefully to find quality leaders to achieve it. Now on Self destruction mode unless we tell ourselves the truth and act fast.
CelebritiesRe: Davido: God Help Nigeria At This Point, We Are Tired by EagleNest(m): 11:24am On Apr 28, 2021
The greatest mistake of the century is voting Buhari to be President of Nigeria at this time. There are more better and reasonable northerners than this ex-general.
PoliticsRe: We Need More Pantamis In Power: Sheikh Gumi by EagleNest(m): 6:41am On Apr 27, 2021
Nigerians, the hand writing is on the wall. The enemies of Nigeria are in the open yet disguised with titles and positions. There was never one Nigeria or secular society.
Foreign AffairsRe: Chad President, Idriss Déby's Burial In Pictures by EagleNest(m): 6:02am On Apr 24, 2021
If Late President Deby had left the stage on time and not go for another term, he would not have suffered this calamity. Many African leaders never evolve or mature in leadership, they are same timid, greedy and power drunk fellows whose preoccupation is just to be number 1, and no one else. They think nothing or work nothing.
PoliticsRe: Garba Shehu: Those Who Can't Forgive Pantami Are The Problem by EagleNest(m): 5:50am On Apr 24, 2021
Garba Shehu is unelected and shouldn't be telling Nigerians what to do. In a serious country, Patanmi should not only resign but should be investigated. And a government spokesperson is busy trying to defend the indefensible. Why is the legislative assembly silent?

Nigerians should simply bycott the NIN registration until this minister do the honourable thing.
PoliticsRe: Greenfield Students: We Didn’t Expect Bandits To Kill Our Children – Parents by EagleNest(m): 5:34am On Apr 24, 2021
Why did FG not declare a state of emergency in the north? or how much more of these barbaric killings before the government starts taking this serious?
PoliticsRe: Dorathy Yohanna: Greenfield University Student Killed By Kidnappers In Kaduna by EagleNest(m): 5:27am On Apr 24, 2021
Until we call a spade, a spade in this country, we are not going to get out of this. Conspiracy of silence in the midst of carnage is big evil and a nation killer. Suddenly they all lost their voice because it is yet to reach their households. If it was under previous government, they would have shouted the country down. Oya rise and do something, dem no fit!
PoliticsRe: El-Rufai Confirms Killing Of Abducted Greenfield Students By Bandits by EagleNest(m): 5:17am On Apr 24, 2021
They said PDP bad, PDP bad...but is APC not devil? Conspiracy of silence in the midst of carnage is that not evil? Something is not right with Buhari, and none of the people close to this government is patriotic enough to bail Nigeria from the grip of lawlessness. For El Rufai, in life everything is not about power, power,...now that you have got the power it seems useless in the midst of such security challenge. You have lost your voice too. We need people like Dora Akunyili in the cabinet to tell Nigerians what's going on.
PoliticsRe: El-Rufai Confirms Killing Of Abducted Greenfield Students By Bandits by EagleNest(m): 5:06am On Apr 24, 2021
Until we call a spade, a spade in this country we are not getting out of this. It's gradually becoming a monster! These are the real terrorists.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is Bleeding - Major-general Bashir Magashi by EagleNest(m): 7:47am On Apr 23, 2021
Nigeria is bleeding today because incompetents and bigots are in position of authority. The worst I have seen Nigeria since I was born. Security, unity, freedom and hope seems to have been choked to near death.
PoliticsRe: Mike Ozekhome: Pantami Contracted Islamic TV To Cover FG Event by EagleNest(m): 7:39am On Apr 23, 2021
He should never have presided over such a sensitive ministry with such bigotry background in a secular nation like Nigeria. How did that happen? DSS & Take-a-Bow senate failed to do their work. DSS head should resign as well.

Who made it excessive...the same clubs thst demanded and paid for it..you don't see dortmund going about saying fir the good of the game, let's sell Haaland for 5 mil..nope...Madrid will come and bid 100 mil..just like chelsea..utd and barca but yea let's blame others
That's where the fair play rules comes in, otherwise one day it will all ballon out of control. Surely, Football super stars should earn bigger money than their peers but not the monster money being thrown around these days, even for mediocre players.

Well said! That's the wisdom only few people in Nigeria know, and only few act on it, but unfortunately plenty of Nigerians don't understand this, and they have repeatedly voted based on cash and carry.

can you compare the financial implication of barcelona to real zaragoza as regards players salaries.leo Messi's salary is enough to clear up half the whole team players own
My point is that the money paid to these stars are excessive. Yes, they generate money for the club but their salary and perks are abnormal. I doubt if the likes of Diego Maradona with all their magical prowess were paid this mad money.

Correct me if l am wrong. The problem started when big money entered European football.l know it's all about the money. There was no regulation to curtail the excessive big money spending in the beginning and if there was it was not effective until it became too late that is financial fair play.

The ESL idea had been floated a while back long before COVID-19 and was vehemently rejected. Now they have come with it with full force and are going ahead with it.What is left to be seen is how UEFA and FIFA will eventually handle it.Will they go ahead with their threats and sanctions?
You made a good point. Where is the interest of fans in all these? What will fans had preferred?

The smaller teams don't have the kind of financial obligations of those super teams, one player's wage from R Madrid, Barca or Man City could pay ten players from those modest teams.
I thought financial fair play was introduced to manage these excessive spending. The kind of money paid to some of these players is well too much and beyond understanding. They should tone down the extreme capitalism practised in football.

Follow the money! It is all about the money! Yes they hanged it on survival, but these are big super clubs. If it is about survival, what then will be the fate of smaller clubs?
PoliticsRe: Fayemi: Governors To Implement Autonomy For State Assemblies, Judiciary In May by EagleNest(m): 5:44am On Apr 20, 2021
May be this is an opportunity to practise true federalism or restructure. But whoever coalesced both legislative and judicial autonomy to the control of governors nearly destroyed governance at state level in Nigeria. No checks! No oversights!
