Don't see it on a bad light. For me I think because he seems more capable than his principle. And his legal and pastoral background meant a lot. When his boss was away on medical ground and he led, Nigeria seems to move forward a bit and happier. He's more detribalised based on pastoral leanings and exposures, incomparable to his boss. Many eyes are on him, but I guess there are bounds on what he can do...but not all Nigerians wants to hear that. Comparing past VPs is unnecessary. Don't forget this government came with so much promises, and who would people ask questions or talk to? Is it Buhari? He won't listen. So they will go and disturb the VP, which I see in a positive light. |
A good move by the governor and the right thing to do. The tribalist are still hallucinating here, but one day they'll grow up. |
What is the job of intelligence community? Why the silence? We need to know who sent soldiers to Lekki Toll gate. |
Violence will never solve our problem. Let's be wise not to allow the wicked Nigerians to divide us and kill the genuine protests. |
SegFault:There was no violence for the first 12 days the protest existed, that doesn't mean these hoodlums were not lurking at the corner. The risk to derail it has been there, not until Tuesday when an ill advised and unconventional method of handling protesters was used. That single decision has negatively changed the course of the whole thing and brought Nigeria govt to whole world as insensitive. Till today, no one have taken responsibility of sending Soldiers to use live bullets on Nigeria unarmed citizens. That should be more worrying, to avoid repeat. |
Please violence will not help us. The endsars protest was going in the right order until Tuesday night debacle. |
Karma0994:You're still trying hard to find a way to pin the recent unrest in Lagos to Igbos. Diversionary tactics but to what end. We should not forget that army was sent to Lekki Toll gate. We should not forget lives were lost. Stop all these your propaganda. |
48 hours and counting, yet no one takes responsibility of inviting army to suppress protesters. Nigerians need to know who gave the order ![]() |
This is what he would have done since. He has been in govt long enough to know that youths are not to be ignored like that but appealed to. Speak to them in a language they'll understand and they will disperse. Na wa ooo! |
alfredilly:Another big hallucination. Face your front and stop disturbing Igbos for what happened in Lagos. We had our "Python Dance", we took it while the rest of Nigeria kept silent. We didn't start having wild imaginations. You see in life, what goes round, comes round. Stand on the truth and you'll always be vindicated. I hate the unwanton violence that happened in Lagos by hoodlums, it is unnecessary, and I also hate wicked lies you are painting. Very much unfounded! |
scully95:My friend, stop hallucinating! You can open this kind of thread 100x but it won't catch any wave. You are surprised how it all happened...sometimes having a vicious dog is a risk. Vicious dogs can bite the owner. Stop pointing your finger at your neighbour for your problem. Divisive propagandas and ineundos won't help you. |
Whoever sent soldiers to unarmed protesters at Lekki Toll gate never thought about the consequences. Now they've messed up big time, and have let out dogs into the street. How come the state govt could not manage Lekki Toll protest? It baffles me. Please youth, violence is never a solution and would never get us anywhere. Stop the carnage! |
Tareq1105:Really, so he was caught on tape sending army to Lekki Toll gate to kill unarmed protesters? No, he was caught on tape sending boys round Lagos to destroy properties? Scratch that one, OK, he ordered curfew on Lagos? Alright, in fact all of the above. You see, He who doesn't know where the rain started beating him, would never know when and where it ends. If you accord Kanu such prestige, power and presence in Lagos matter, then so be it. But I won't give him such recognition if I were you. |
ThatFairGuy1:You are still hallucinating.Still thinking tribal. Sorry to burst you bubbles...there is no connection. Those people you are accusing doesn't have the capability of doing such, and for what gain. To take over Lagos or what? How does the event of Tuesday relate to Biafra? If you believe the voice in your head, you'll believe anything. Relax, your boss Tinubu has his intelligences. He's capable of knowing what went wrong. But stop this your thought of Nnamdi Kanu in diaspora sending boys to destroy Tinubu properties because of Biafra agitation. Come on, it doesn't add up. But if you decide to still make Kanu look great, that's upto you, and he will take the glory. But we don't give him such privilege. |
Who are these thugs and area boys that went to touch Tinubu's properties. How did they know the locations of all his assets? Is this carnage related to 20th Oct Lekki Toll gate incident or fall out of bottled anger by some youths? I thought Tinubu has foot soldiers on the street, did they turn against him? I'm trying to find the connection between the event at Toll gate and Tinubu being singled out for the consequences. Anyway I'm sure he has his intelligences. He's capable of knowing what went wrong. Nigeria youths please desist from violence. Sadly, lives have been lost already. We don't want anymore bloodshed. |
ThatFairGuy1:ThatFairGuy1, it is very ridiculous the picture you're painting. Insinuating and pointing accusing fingers on Igbos is so despicable. How senseless is this your thought. Everything is not tribal my friend. Wake up from slumber and stop hallucinating. 12 days of peaceful protest by concerned Nigerian citizens and 1 day of violence triggered by wicked Nigerians. How did you arrive at such conspiracy of pointing at Igbos? |
MyVILLAGEpeople:You said my mind. Now that Adeboye has started talking I wonder why anyone should still complain and speak unprintable thing. I sigh! |
I ain't surprised! The writings have been on the wall all along. He's a very ambitious person and have his eye now on the centre. |
I knew he will point fingers at Igbos...and I was not disappointed when he mentioned Anambra. Paranoid as usual. |
It is okay for MASSOB to give clarification on the Ezu River debacle including the judicial inquiry that was set up by state government. My question is what happened afterwards? Did the dead eventually obtain justice? What did the state government do to punish the perpetrators? or was there no evidence, or any logical conclusions of the enquiry? |
For me the whole of Nigeria police force should be disbanded (if possible) and a completely new policing system built from scratch. The rot in the current system is so deep that it will be very difficult to clean up. Go to police barracks and you'll cry. Dilapidated and very old. It is the guys at the top echelon of police commands that we should even beam our searchlights closer on, not just the foot soldiers only. You don't give a poorly trained, poorly renumerated and unmotivated person rifle and say go and fight crime? |
Rosskii:Even in Christiandom, there is no such thing as authentic image of Jesus Christ anywhere. What you see as His picture or sculpture of Him is people's imaginations. And it is also a form of idolatry but let's leave it to God to decide. A point of correction as regards "It is a racist reaction to people not all following their ''white Jesus''." Naaah, many of these people are so secular in life that you don't even talk religion to them in conversations. They only teach general religious study in school as it is a national curriculum, and in some cases you might choose to opt out. Again we should take it easy with one another. No one has seen God before. If we all started killing each other for every little religious differences, who will remain? The one going on in Nigeria is even unspeakable. You remember the Redeemed Christian woman pastor that was lynched in Kubwa Abuja in July 2016 by some fanatics, her only crime was preaching. We can't go on like this when we don't have the capacity to recreate any human being. |
This is absurdity of the highest order ![]() |
naturefellow:Hahahaha... ![]() |
naturefellow:Hahahaha...How I wish ![]() |
madridguy:Hahahaha...not in this life will they control Europe . |
Rossinky:Look at the number of insults and curses rained on someone just because he aired his opinion. You don't quench fire with fire my son will say. ElRufai have used detestable languages on Jesus Christ in the past, mocking him but the true followers of Christ refused to tow that line of ignorance. France is a Liberal society that are open to knowledge and learning. It sometimes clashes with Christian values but they don't go about killing people. A Chechen killing a French teacher in France because of cartoon of mohammed is worrying. |
Banmeallday:In western world they are very open to learning and liberty. They teach about almost anything: about Egypt, India, China, etc cultures and even recently about Black civil right leaders and slave trade. I guess we don't do this in Nigeria as even our chequered dark history is well hidden from the children who deserves to know the past to help them forge the future. On the "lukewarm Christians", sorry today's Christians who are true followers of Christ don't engage in violence as Jesus Christ wasn't violent person neither does he condone violence but rather preached peace and love. |
madridguy:But France is not a moslem country naah! He is an immigrant. He would have stayed in Chechenya |
wales:Try and read it again. And this time read it between the lines, and you will correct your earlier statement. The Police shot him from the front but put statement that he didn't stop after hitting them, so that gullible public will assimilate it like you nearly do or have done. And the killer policman is still on the run. That's why people hate English comprehesion because... ![]() |
