SUFFERInSMILIIN:Now that we are relatively "literate" however we still think and behave like so called illiterates of the past. In fact, were they not better than today's wonderful leaders . See, we've refused to move forward and doesn't want to thinker with what is not working. We don't even understand ourselves after half a century of being forced together. We have showed enough patience, enough hope, enough faith in Nigeria but what we have failed repeatedly is to get to "work" on Nigeria. If a sick patient complains that the first therapy is not working or has a side-effect, do you as a doctor keep on giving him same therapy hoping that the patient will heal? No, otherwise you will kill the patient. That's the situation of Nigeria. |
favor914:I disagree. You can't keep on doing same thing and expect a different result. The way Nigeria is structured today, it can never move forward with so many variables that cannot balance. We need to coalesce into groups with similar thought-process and idealogy, then work on ourselves with a common goal. How did we even arrive at current structure? By a military fiat! After 50 years it is clear that it is no longer tenable. |
Hmmmnnn, I smelt a pattern here...they use the Igbos to do the dirty hatchet job. So sad! From Authur Nzeribe who was used by IBB to scuttle MKO election, to Daniel Kanu (Youth Earnestly Ask for Abach), to Dennis Aghanya who went to court against former Chief Justice of Nigeria that caused his removal, to recently Kene Okeke who's sueing about 50 people on #endsars protest. Now this one. Who is behind this? Why are these individuals senseless and allowing themselves to be used like this. |
Only very few of them are indeed fairly okay. More than 25 of the rest are just waste of time, money and space. Even if they govern for 16years, they'll remain who they are, visionless and irredeemable. |
That's the way to go. Follow your heart and belief and don't be a blind sycophant. Never follow a man against your own convictions. It is a honorable thing to part way if the two interests clashes. |
Though you ruined English mercilessly, surely it's no fault of yours, but I could decipher what you intended. I'll advise you to steer clear of Nigeria matter. Like a caterpillar that will later turn to butterfly so will Nigeria be. All your wishes toward 200 million Nigerians will never come to pass, because we never wish other countries death. Rather we help them in their time of difficulties and calamities. Ask Liberia, Sierra Leone, SA, etc. If you have any score to settle with someone, please channel it to that person and not the whole nation. |
More reasons why we need to restructure to regions so that some regions can adopt crescent or cross as their preferred logo. You see why one shoe fits all, current structure cannot accommodate all our differences. Even America that we copy, is not this centralised. |
favor914:Forget statistics! Before oil there was Nigeria. Let each region grow their area of comparative advantages. In fact, zero oil money is a good problem so that the people can think outside and beyond free money. We need to get out of this grasshopper mentality that have locked us down for half a century. We need to build and develop competence in what we do best. |
PDP and APC, are they not the same. I have no clue what each stands for. I agree with Ohaneze. |
PDP and APC are same of same. Nothing changed. Both are irredeemable and irresponsible ![]() |
Defamation libel suite from a defamation master himself. Maybe the jab was below the belt and he seek vengeance thru the court. |
Fair opinion though from VP, but I disagree strongly. Let the regions take care of itself and the centre our common interests. |
Of course, Ikwere is not Igbo. Although Amaechi, an Ikwere man thought otherwise. For me, they can be whatever they want to be. No fuss at all. |
I'd seen it coming all these while. Even Buhari's daughter visit recently wasn't just for courtesy. It's all about this move. He should be warry of APC political promises. We'll we see how it pans out. |
Obasanjo started it by creating billionaires in Dangote and Otedola, while other competing companies were left out. Now Buhari with his northern bias, of course will take it to next level. Why will you be surprised? |
Buhari had this "northern agenda" in his heart all these while before being elected. When he entered office, he didn't pretend about it...surprisingly he got re-elected in 2019. My guess is...its gonna be like this till 2023, unfortunately. |
This country under APC government lead by Buhari is nosediving to a crash if sensible people don't rise and speak sense to Buhari. |
This Buhari Government, chai! I never see anything like this before...so so out of touch. |
Why did the price rise so high like that? Looks artificial to me. |
Hipocrites! |
Ibadansun1:Like the Nigeria Supreme Court did in Imo State ![]() |
The conclusion is "Tinubu owns Lagos and by extension SW". End of discussion! |
Noooo! Na IPOD cause am! Tinubu Boys where though u |
Where in Awka South is this thing happening? |
What a government? They youths should not agree to such unbelievable intimidation. |
But Arewas are destined to be both King Makers and Kings? Hipocrites all of una! |
Amaechi is trying to pull wool over the eyes of Igbos for his political gain. Pls let Ikwere remain Ikwere ooo and Igbos remain Igbos, until a certain time in the future when they will tell themselves the truth. For now, Igbos refused to be deceived. |
Tinubu boys are paranoid about IPOB, kai!... . They should take it easy ooo! |
Playing "duality" like our favourite neighbours ![]() |
Nothing is ever taken serious in Nigeria. No shame at all. No patriots. Leaders just dey do as dey like, followers just dey mumu anyhow. I tire! |
Igbos should be careful ooo! Tinubu Boys will come back and blame you. They're paranoid here ooo! |
Very unserious set of human beings as leaders in Nigeria. Too much jokes and wastes. |
