Interesting development. |
Wow! For the first time I listened to Nnamdi Kanu and I was shocked on his eloquence and intelligence. He has a clear goal of what he wants to achieve , only the approach is abit not clear. There are few unsustainable or unproven assertions but Dele was able to tactically put it to proper perspective esp as relates to military part, and may be Buhari part. Other than that, he made lots of sense not just about Biafra but collectively as Africans. We don't like to ask questions and debate reasonably. Nk kind of made all Nigerians guilty of the malaise of corruption and lack of progress after 60 yrs including the sense of denials in the midst of clear abnormalities. In fact he queried our collective psyche to remain in a state of retrogradation in spite of our educations. He was wise to apologize openly concerning his alleged misinterpretation of his talk on 20 Oct incident. That's very decent. And he seems to have a soft spot for Yorubas...seeing them as very capable like Igbos to move Africa forward. He is willing to work with them. He unrepentently doesn't agree with the Northern Nigeria at all. He believes they are way too different in believes and culture compared to South. Nigeria needs to bring back history in their curriculum, so that the younger ones will be more educated and think. |
Marginalising the Igbos will not quench their spirit about not supporting evil. The 5% seems wiser than the arithmetically nonsensical 97%. It is a matter of time. Like Trump, Buhari will too go! |
Very unnecessary, if you ask me. Leave America matter for Americans! |
This Sanwo-Olu seems to be a lackey of the power from above. He wants to cover up something that's already in the open, and again he will mismanage it to cause even more problems. Stay away from heading the judicial panel, it's common sense. |
What kind of restructuring framework is ElRufai advocating.I hope it is the one that is similar to 1966? |
Hahahaha...the same paranoid group on the beat again... Cordinator: what can I throw against Igbos today, we need to meet our target! TheRareGem1 : oga, no new thing to hang on them, this time. Even the lagos looting hype no gree catch fire. The youths no buy am. Cordinator : you must find something ooo, Aaah! What of that old story, the one about SE not to be trusted. TheRareGem1 : Aaah! Shebi, dem no go say, na old yarns,...saayy dem don see am before ni? Cordinator : Throw am like that. As far as we hit our target, dem go know say we dey do our work well. ![]() TheRareGem1 : Oshey IPOB go hear wheeeyy!Becarefull what you read on Nairaland. There are many paid agents who are set loose here to cause divisions, for the sole purpose and benefit of their ogas. Don't fall for any, whether Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa! |
Shocked how ex Gov. Fashola(SAN) tried to pull the wool over our eyes. |
I was wondering too why his people did not defend him. Oh, so he distanced himself from his people. Another lesson learnt...no man is an island, how much more a king ![]() |
Tinubu boys on the beat.Check out the moniker behind the post. ![]() |
What a country? Kai, I never see anything like this. |
ibedun:My friend e don do naah. We know you're doing your paid work but sometimes be a little wise for conscience sake. |
Correct! Don't spare any trouble maker. |
Has it to do with what? 2023? |
Splintinterior:Does that remove it from being a bad news or justify being a stowaway? You see, the best of excuses, is still an excuse. When Nigerians are tired of all these nonsenses, they'll fix it. |
Another bad news involving Nigerians. |
No reliable source of this his statement, like book or something? |
So sad about the loss of Nigerian soldiers to BH. Something is not right about this war on terrorists. ![]() |
SoBright101:I agree. I observed similar thing here. |
CSTRR:Naturally, Igbos like saying their mind especially when they smell injustice...and they never forget! Igbos are not necessarily controversial except that their neighbours often misunderstand them. Unless you're alluding NK's controversy as all Igbos, which again is misrepresenting. TBH, many sensible Igbos hardly give notice or precious time to NK stuffs. Someone like me have never watched a single video of NK ever, why would I waste such time. But I'm surprised the way some couple of people here including paid propagandaist give him so much attention by always putting him on news. Very unnecessary! |
Afamed:How many times would the governors speak against him. Did they not proscribe him and his organisation? Even though he asked a legitimate question about marginalisation of Igbos and injustices in Nigeria, however his style of sensitising or telling it, leaves sours taste in the mouth. Sane Igbos are not happy with his approach at all. |
In fact the whole world...hahahaha ![]() |
Can Nnamdi Kanu keep quiet please. Too much of his noise making is becoming embarrassing and annoying to peace loving Igbos. He should stop all these violent talks. Creating more problems than solution. |
Anyone that listens to such noise maker and takes him serious needs to be re-examined. |
If unbelief is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost then Paul and Thomas wouldn't have had a ministry at all, considering their unblief in the past. Holy Spirit is a personality that can be grieved (Eph 4:30), vexed or rebelled (Is 63:10), opposed (Acts 7:51), lie against (Acts 5) and quenched (I Thess 5:19) but woe to whomever that does this whether a believer or non believer. Non of the Apostles received the Holy Spirit while Jesus Christ was with them. So not clear why mixing up Judas Iscariot and whether he believed in Jesus or not. That you believed in Jesus doesn't mean you are immuned from temptation. How you overcome temptation and be victorious, is by the Spirit of God and the Word. Not by your will or strength or your past accomplishments or victories. It is a continuum in HOLY spirit - walking and communing in Holy Spirit. |
Newzik:I tire for these selected wicked people on Nairaland! Igbo this, Igbo that, every seconds, every day and they won't support referendum to let Igbos go. An Igbo adage says, "aka e kpuchi onwa". Meaning...you can't eclipse the moon with your hands. For 60 years as a nation we are still yet to understand ourselves and what will work for us. If you bring good ideas to move the country forward it will be destroyed on tribal slab or politcal wickedness or religious stupidity. We can't continue like this, Nigeria! We can't go far at all. |
That's how a respected elder should talk. With conscience, humility and tone of language that is appealing. If the so called politcal leaders have towed this line, I'm sure we won't be in this mess. I hope lessons have been learnt. Forthrightness would always break bounds and heal rather than kill. Salute to HRH Dosunmu! |
zachanalysis:Am sorry that the Igbos you came in contact were like the one you painted but that still is not enough to regard all Igbos as such. It is wrong assumption. And I have seen same types you painted in other tribes as well, but I won't generalise as I know people vary from family to family, clan to clan, etc. It is not today I started hearing that stereotype about Igbos loving money, and other tribes hating money. And I keep on wondering how my experience with omoniles over a piece of property that was sold to several clients would qualify me calling all westerners greedy and unreliable. No I won't generalise. There will always be bad people regardless of tribe. If you want to know the group that love money in Nigeria, go and check the political elites, governors, ministers, legislators, the civil servants, the police, the immigration, the customs, the NURTW, etc. They would kill to collect these money and rob our common wealth. And the last I checked, it was not Igbos only that work in those government setups. A classical case of calling a dog a bad name to hang it, you remember? A common sense will tell you that a trader or businessman is naturally a capitalist, would that mean all Americans are greedy because US is headquarters of capitalism? Naah. There will always be bad ones. Self pontificating, self righteousness, hipocrisy is what is killing Nigeria today. This group of people in your eyes is bad because they refuse to tow the lines of others, doesn't mean you're right. They've wanted to leave, you fought to keep them but you won't let them be. Please, live and let live. |
Sadly, I think it is high time Igbos stay away from this issue. Because tomorrow it is what you said (without being sentimental) that the wicked ones will twist to keep Nigeria still on its knees. For 60 years we are still groping in darkness and wicked ones are having a field day. We need light and we need it urgently. |
zachanalysis:Always trying to demonise Igbos and pontificate your own tribe and culture is very unfair. Forming opinion on hearsay is bad. How many of you have crossed the Niger Bridge to Igbo hinterland even just to pass thru. Igbos this, Igbo that everyday without resting is annoying. Yes, you don't like Igbos but you still won't let them go. Stop all these lame stereotypes. Every culture has its good and bad sides. You work on yours and I work on mine, but don't tell me you holy pass. |
It is a common sense that the destruction was targeted. It cannot be outsiders that executed this. Only locals can know their way around. I'm surprised when some paid wicked agents on this platform started hallucinating and spreading wicked lies to divert attentions to the havoc, and pointed accusing fingers on Igbos for just no reason. Creating tonnes of monikers to propagate lies. What a ridiculous thing to do ![]() I told myself, hang on, but Tinubu at his level should definitely have his intelligence on what is going on streetwise. He knows his real enemies and would have smelt danger, hence zoomed off. Unless he's not what I think he is. Now if the paid liars on this platform, who doesn't think properly, had succeeded in winning over gullible westerners, then innocent bloods would've been spilled, just to assuage for lost properties in Lagos. Tell me which is more important, life or property? Shun lies Nigerians! Call a spade, "a spade" and always stand on the truth! |
