Some government people in high places don dey gallivant in happiness about another stash of money to loot. But someone in Aso Rock have once given opinion that Abacha did not steal our money. Is he still standing by it? Anyway these days, there could be smoke without fire. What do we know again. They'll believe anything! Just maintain your mein. |
What kind of mind is this? Mind of darkness that refuses to embrace light. Hipocrites why kill someone for blasphemy. It is OK to reverence mohammed as much as you desire but not to the extent of killing a human being that you cannot create. Blasphemy is not worst a sin than the murder that you want to commit to please yourselves. Stop and think! |
DelphiOracle:Until the Igwe receives the staff of authority from government, by law he is not legitimate. Unless there is legislative corrections in future, it still remains what it is. Think about the powerful Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido, how he was queried by Kano govt and latter dethroned. |
megama:Historic stories. It is okay to be idealistic but the reality is the law of today gave so much power to the governor and president. As a people if you don't like how it has turned, you go and seek legislative corrections. It is how you make your bed so will you lie on it. Until that law is fine tuned , you don't flaunt it. |
Both are close comrades and have run political things together for a long time. I don't see that loyalty cracking so soon. |
Some people above do not understand how this thing works. Learn from Sanusi vs Ganduje saga. The governor welds so much power on who becomes Igwe, Emir or Oba. The staff of office comes from state government and they can sack as well. You can't gallivant to Aso Rock as a group of Igwes from a particular state without checking with the leader of the traditional Igwes or commissioner in charge of chieftaincy in the state. Unless you are going as an individual on private visit. That's why Buhari didn't give them attention. Try this nonsense in Lagos state and you're gone. |
Government that enjoyed freedom of speech while in opposition find it hard to tolerate even the slightest of accusations how much more propagandas. |
The people should rise in defence. Give an intolerant govt a mile it will ask for two miles. Siddon dey look no good ooo! |
Opium of the masses...what about being human being for once. |
Very sad development. Unfortunately the centre is weak and the people will as always sulk in. |
Very silly display. OUK ruined Aba and I can't believe he is waving hands to Aba people...as what exactly? |
Why not make a law to curtail this absurdity. Is it until mischievous makers push the number to 200 that we'll act? |
Although Obasanjo is not qualified to point acussing finger on fellow rotten politician however if we look at his message, it is grande! I find it a bit funny when they say you don't talk ills of the dead. Really? If you do good we talk good of you and if you do bad we talk bad of you. Silent as mark of respect for irresponsible politician is height of delusion on the part of citizens. So if Babangida goes home when his time comes, you'll all be singing or what? |
post=92652737:Yeah, even more than a pair of glasses . I'm already dreaming about restructuring and thought this VP announcement was in that direction but it was loan. Oh dear! |
I was thinking restructure Nigeria when I saw restructure in headline but anyway. |
Paretomaster1:Political bridge indeed, on fire, burnt by Igbos. Make I hear word. No be only political bridge dey burn, them even burn Nigeria join too. We kept on going round, but we know what it's all about. |
Paretomaster1:As it was done to others let it be done to Igbos as well. What are u not understanding. |
That's the way to go. Let's Support the South to lead Nigeria for another 8 years and after 8 years it goes back to North. |
That's the kind of news that gladden my heart. |
That's how it should be. 8 years North and 8 years South until we use our heads correctly and restructure to optimise everyone's potential. |
I hope you keep to your words and support wholeheartedly a southerner to lead for another 8 years. Not tomorrow now you deny it wasn't what you meant. Anyway you urgently need to solve the religious crises going on under your watch. |
Onwu biko, Onwu ama Eze, Onwu ama nwata. Means in English... Death please!, death is no respecter of King, death is no respecter of a child. It's a debt everyone owes. |
That's a good way to start...keep on the protest until justice is served. Keeping quiet and hoping for change is an illusion. It will never come! |
One of the reasons Nigeria judiciary is in mess. |
Covid-19 would not relent and doesn't care. |
QuotaSystem:And the power brokers chose Obasanjo and he won regardless of who came for the contest. |
Paretomaster1:And who told you Igbos will not contest? |
The architect of Abia's recurring failure is OUK. He's the one asking him now to join APC for redemption o Abia. Really? What did he go jail for? Same Abia money. |
A sycophant that wants to please Buhari by all means. |
Election is seen as war in Nigera. If it was in the past, the military would have had enough excuse to strike. |
Paretomaster1:But it was given to Obasanjo like a plate of Amala. |
Which kind world be this? ![]() |
