Ignorance na disease! |
Jokers of the century. |
Jokers of the century, but come to think of it...if Buhari can do it the way he's doing it and Nigerians chose to manage him, then anybody can be manageable ![]() |
It should not just be PDP call alone, but every decent and patriotic Nigerian. Poor leadership for the past 5years and counting...is recipe for disintegration. |
Forget all Junaid Mohammed's rhetorics, it's Igbos turn to lead Nigeria. There was nothing others did specially different to be given the chance to lead, why is it that when its Igbos turn, all manner of stories starts flying. Give them a chance joor! |
This country sef. They keep on recycling these rapacious beings. |
That's a practical solution to a complex entity called Nigeria. But the ignoramus will want the status quo maintained because of fear of competition and unknown. |
Wake up from your King and Queens dream. If you don't go out there and protest against despots, our lives will continue to be miserable and worst. Citizens begging for their right, crazy! |
It is good to protest when elected government is misbehaving. Well done to the brave youths that walked the talk. |
IkwerrePikin:Oga, let the Igbos worry about that. If they could survive the war and aftermath of the war inspite of harsh neighbours, they'll survive anything. It is in their DNA. |
Avaricious human beings are like that. Self righteous but worst. |
And what are we doing about this? Just watch Nigeria destroyed in our eyes by these greedy nitwits. Rapacious human beings that are spectres of national shame. |
The complexity of Nigeria, its flaws and biases, are one of the main reasons zoning was brought in to mitigate the problem of dominance in leadership from a particular region. However, like every other thing in Nigeria, it is nearing death because of very poor party electoral processes that brings in incompetent candidates like Buhari and Jonathan, because electorates are easily deceived. Now unless Nigeria is restructured and party electoral processes more transparent, open and independent, then it is a wishful thinking to say 'best candidate'. How do you determine this and through which platform will this person rise. Which electorates will vote, the same that are easily swayed by money, religion and tribe regardless of how educated. At the end it will still benefit those politicians talked of. First do away with current system. Change the status quo thru restructuring and change our value system, then we are talking. |
Before nko, what do you expect from an enemy. He will want your downfall. Beware! your worst enemy is the one from your household. |
It's EDO's affair. Let them decide which of the two evils they prefer. |
Nigerians una too dey fall for these politicians. Politics is too dynamic to model very well from one man's perspective. Same Wike was outsmarted at their last convention that brought Atiku as flag bearer, after all his gra gra. It will be more interesting to know the direction of APC as they're the ruling party. For PDP, if they don't do the right thing, and take advantage of APC poor leadership, they might end up losing again. |
oyatz:Yes, but the direction the party wants to tow is very important as regards aspirants and votes. This will save time and money. Such an early clarity will help alot! |
Stinkingly corrupt professor. Only in Nigeria! |
How I wish we can have more of real indigenous companies like Seplat and even technological companies. Not portfolio companies that is after profit cuts only. |
Which of the Buhari is he talking about? |
If some category of people are not removed from the society for a very long time the society will never survive. |
Wrong! |
Drchristian:I am talking of Nigerian president of Igbo extraction not Atiku. Even Tinubu will not on his own become Nigerian president on the strength of SW alone. I think he can go for it after Igbos turn. This is to balance power rotation which has gone to other key zones. |
oyatz:They will contest surely. Don't forget this is still 2020. I know it becomes more effective if there is wide support from Nigerians (not necessarily everyone but majority) thru parties. |
Ayomi90:Hahahaha...you are digging too deep for a mere correction of your earlier assertion about Igbo not to be trusted. It is clear every ethnic group has levels of guilt. I am not here to pass judgement neither would I talk for argument sake. Personally, I like every Nigerian ethnic group just as I like myself. Unfortunately we are coerced to be one. We should make the best out of it or ruin it. I see you as human first before any other thing. Anthropogenic geographical boundary or language should not becloud our sense of humanity. |
Ayomi90:If you notice I don't call a particular ethnic group name. I said 'every' ethnic group(major or minor) in Nigeria historically have trust issues. If your conscience is pricking you, I understand. It is the same effect to others. No ethnic group holly pass! |
Sammy07:Yes, I am a Nigerian and perfectly understands the status quo. But I think it has come to that point in time where we need to pinch ourselves and say hang on, this joke has been taken too far, or is the status quo okay and fair. What I am saying is that Nigeria should primarily work for 'everyone' not a selected few or particular section of the country. |
Ayomi90:It is not a question of trust because historically no ethnic group in Nigeria has scored 70% in 'trust' otherwise Nigeria would not have been in a state of mess as it is today. There has been historic backstabbings and still ongoing. You can't speak of instability/mistrust and talk of Igbos unless you are not student of history. |
ThatFairGuy1:Not sure what is making you shout. Calm down. Not me hating here. It is not in my bone. I guess you jumped into this conversation and is shouting out of context. Go back to the beginning of my conversation and don't get about shouting. No one will hear! |
BabaO2:Who is/are owners of aircraft and who are the passengers? |
cocolacec:According to your reasoning, Igbos are the poor ones abi or are we talking of a different Nigeria. Yes, we forget so early and so much in Nigeria. There was once OPC led by Adams who went the street-way in there agitation to protect Yoruba ethnic group; there was Niger Delta militants who went rouge in there quest to be heard; there was/is Boko Haram currently waging war on Nigeria state for no clear reasons; Miyetti Allah and Fulani herdsmen are making troubles and daring anyone; but once IPOB does the same street-type agitation it becomes terrorism and all sorts of jibes are lashed on them to discredit them. It is okay not to particularly like someone but if you become joined in venture or marriage, you must give him or her a fair share or the venture is doomed. |
