What an utter shame! Some few of them are happy to see blacks suffer just out of pure hatred, not as if a typical blackman is seeing them as rivals. Why are these few racist's hearts so dark?

TMKsouth:
Actually it was built by the colonial government in the 1800s with the discovery of gold, apartheid officially began in the 1940s by the Afrikaners. And now new cities are thriving under the black government with brand new buildings. The Leonardo in Joburg is now the new tallest building in Africa.
You guys should keep it up. Africa is looking for a shining example to give hope to Blackman that, yes! we can do it. Nigeria had big potentials but had blown it severally, although funnily we don't like others rubbing it on our face. Solution is insight anyway, it's just a matter of time!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is Crumbling Within, Losing Respect Outside Of It by EagleNest(m): 5:57pm On Jun 21, 2020
It is interesting how each tribe is pointing fingers to the other here. Foreigners careless about your internal misunderstandings. And it will get worst unless Nigeria restructures and agree to move forward.
Pretending that this problem will somehow solve itself is like denying that there is no death b/c u've always breath from birth.

His style of leadership will always lead to divisions. Even his immediate family and inner circle of lieutenants and loyalists are not spared.
See as all you hear is: nephew, niece, son-in-law, etc, around him, purely family thing.

Everyday is for the thief but one day is for the owners. Nigerians stop giving attention and praises to celebrity criminals in whatever guise. Do we have value system at all?

PoliticsRe: Regional Road: Lagos Govt Revokes Titles Of Lekki Land Encroaching Right-Of-Way by EagleNest(m): 5:43pm On Jun 03, 2020
COMPAQ:
Very good point. I don't know why they can't put it online in conjunction with google. Google can do high quality imagery (more than what google maps shows) and then LASG can clearly demarcate lands that have been reserved, so that members of the public can know very easily.

Unfortunately in Nigeria in general, we like to hoard information, so that we can monetize it. In the map, one can clearly see the alignment left alone for the road bordered in blue. Those in trouble are those withing the portion of the road alignment bordered in red. The road alignment there has been completely taken over by properties.

The unfortunate thing is that many people there may actually have C of O or Governors consent, but the reality is that they would have been fraudulently processed by those in Ministry of Lands. After all, the Governor will not go and inspect lands before signing. He expects people in the Ministrey of Lands, Surveyor General etc to have done their due dilligence.
Very on point. Well said.
PoliticsRe: Buhari And His Federal Character Virus - The Guardian Editorial by EagleNest(m): 7:48am On Jun 03, 2020
He shouldn't have been president in the first place but that's past now.

Either he doesn't understand the constitution or he deliberately wants to destroy the fragile unity of Nigeria.

See how they're toying with people's future just like Jamb used to deal with students hoping for admissions.

The affected should head straight to industrial court because this doesn't look right.
PoliticsRe: Regional Road: Lagos Govt Revokes Titles Of Lekki Land Encroaching Right-Of-Way by EagleNest(m): 7:20am On Jun 03, 2020
Lagos state government should make land checks, allocation and approvals more transparent than they are currently. May be digitizer it and allow easier access to it rather than making it a source of heartache for many investors or first time buyers. Kind of bring more sanity and ease with the whole process.

Benevento:
Almost 60years after Independence, where is the brain?

Does Central govt. Stop people from using their brain?
How will brain think or work in such a harsh environment as ours with very hostile neighbours who never wish you well. Of course every effort is made to frustrate and quench that little light that wanted to illuminate Africa, but since no human hands can envelope the moon so will that little light shine one day!
CrimeRe: George Floyd's Death: Why Many Africans are feeling unconcerned by EagleNest(m): 11:44am On Jun 02, 2020
The big elephant is the white cops unabating brutality.

Talking about demonstration, I think I agree that charity begins at home. If we cannot learn to protest on daily injustices meted by Nigerians on Nigerians, then it would be cumbersome or unattractive or negligible for some to care much about such global injustice. There is deep empathy obviously but expressing it the way it should, is lacking.

You can't restructure Nigeria my friend.

I came from the region that will likely perform best but still restructuring is not the answer.

how do you want regions like South East and North east with little or no resources to thrive?
Brain is the best resources my friend esp in this 21 century. Go and think about it. Landlord travel and see.

Who cares where one is from? We go to US, UK, Canada, Italy and are appointed or elected to political positions but here we are quarrelling about the tribe of wife of an elected governor. Shame to those crop of illiterate and uncivilised brats. Poverty indeed erodes right thinking.

PoliticsRe: Governors Kick As Buhari Okays Financial Autonomy For Assemblies, Judiciary by EagleNest(m): 7:41am On May 24, 2020
Governors should take a chill. This is not an empire but democracy. Ever since they surreptitiously bundled LGA, State Legislative assembly and judiciary unto themselves they become too powerful and controls many things.
That's why the mixed feelings about state police.

PoliticsRe: This Is The Type Of President We Want by EagleNest(m): 9:34am On May 16, 2020
For once an African President is speaking eloquently, with great ideas and workable solutions.

You can see how Macron appears uncomfortable. That’s always the case when hidden truth comes alive. Oyibo's monetary aid is subjugation and never really free. We should look inside and get ourselves back to our feet.

Why is Buhari not there? grin
PoliticsRe: Femi Adesina: Obasanjo Would Have Insulted Those Demanding Presidential Address by EagleNest(m): 8:37am On May 16, 2020
If ordinary briefing Nigerians on COVID-19 updates is this hard, I wonder how it will be if there's external aggression on Nigeria.

US and UK leaders brief their people nearly on daily basis.

Why spending so much time and energy defending such a little requirement of the president by the electorates. I'm sure he wouldn't even take questions because he might not be capable of giving proper answers. But at least speak to the people, haba!

Go and get today's Nigeria working and stop all these bashing.

One day this state of stupor and drunkenness will clear from our eyes. At that season, may be we will cry for joy or of pain, but there will be cry!
PoliticsRe: Is The Black Man Cursed? by EagleNest(m): 3:28am On May 12, 2020
For me Africans are not cursed but lack understanding of, or have not tested, true value of visionary leadership, and how it can turn a generation of people towards prosperity and respect.

Nigeria, for instance, have had every potential and opportunity to break through and stand out among committee of black nations but it kept on blowing it due to the kind of people that become leaders.
But when you go abroad, you see Nigeria citizens breaking grounds and getting close to those 'sacred and somewhat exclusive' areas that whites dominate, even to the astonishment of black Americans. But when u remind them of motherland, they sigh!

I see it simply like this: "it is how you make ur bed so will u lie on it" . The quality of leadership matters a lot in any nation. Quality leaders inspires people to ingenuity and self confident of who they are. This is not meant for every Tom, dick and Harry nor charlatans. The positive result will be a tailored functioning system that is unique to that nation. Eg China & Singapore.
