The warnings should not be only to foreigners, even we Nigerians too are wary of so many places because of the spate of killings and kidnappings that is going on. I'm not too sure there is any really safe place in Nigeria apart from Aso Rock et'al. Not even some police stations is that safe. |
But we too should reduce badness so that we no go dey suffer image wahala like Satan. Na so if anything bad happen na Satan causa am because Satan don do bad too much. |
Oszy:He is an imposter. He doesn't have the intelligence and sagacity to lead Nigeria of today. |
ericmor:What do you mean by infringement? Is there any difference? Any why repeat penalty twice. |
Buhari never listens. He only sees things his own way. |
What a lame excuse! You said you won June 12 election, but you see it as national interest not to fight for that mandate. Rather you decided to help your enemy by joining his camp and walking out from your compatriot. It beats all human and spiritual logic and imaginations. Is that how you would have served as our commander in chief? You walk away when there is trouble. Now your compatriot have fought for his mandate and sadly lost his life and you're alive today reaping from where you did not sow. I don't know what best to call you.... |
Where is the evidence? |
I agree with Mr Obi, Buhari indeed is not serious with governance. He doesn't seem to be in charge and takes so much time to make simply decision. It will soon be one month after election... But even opposition parties are sleeping too. They are not equally serious with keeping the ruling party on their toes. After the election they seem to have lost their voice. |
ericmor:I don't agree with you. She wanted to clear the ball but the French girl has already put herself in the way and all these happen in a flash. It is when VAR repeats it from an angle then you'll think it is. I doubt if it was intentional. |
The referee goofed big time! VAR is so inconsistent in this world cup. And the commentator, OMG!, is so biased against Nigeria. She doesn't want Nigeria to win. Even one of the analyst in BBC after the match, also sounded biased against Nigeria. I wonder how it would have been if Nigeria has drew or beaten France? |
"Trust no one with money" is a hard lesson I learnt in life. "No One" means everybody. Always tune your 6th sense very high when dealing with close relatives. They will want to strike you under the cover of being close to you. Be very wise! I repeat, wise up! |
None is clean! Imam, pastor, chief, oba, emir, igwe, governor, senator, rep, minister, civil servants, army, police, doctos, lecturer, engr, administrator, etc all are after themselves. A very pathetic situation in Nigeria. |
condemn:Ogbeni, I don't do Instagram. What that means is that it is my comment that was copied to Instagram by the same "someone else". When you point one finger on someone, the other three fingers point at you. |
What's the difference Aisha? I have been admiring your bluntness on Nigeria issues regardless of your status, why you come dey fall hand now? |
Nigeria is a joke. Please wake me up |
Too many holidays in Nigeria. Productivity suffers. |
Nigeria police lacks training and are so unprofessional. Too corrupt to be trusted. |
Smokezz:Very correct! |
The two tribes are the most collaborative of any other tribes except in two places - Politics and Nairaland. It is a sweet and bitter relationship so far! Nairaland inadvertently, have provided a platform to take this "hate" disease to a toxic level where most people now see almost every thread from tribal lens. Seun et'al I think you have serious issue to deal with. Use the same Nairaland platform to help promote unity amongst the three major ethnic group. I don't agree when people say that what is spoken here should not to be taken serious. No! This is digital age and people surely are speaking there mind and in many cases meant whatever they say. It should not be trivialised. Some comments here are real. On political ground, it is still a long journey... and because the Igbos and Yorubas are always not singing the same tune, then the Hausa/Fulanis sort of dictates the political tune. |
The last time I checked it was Dennis Aghanya that filed the suit to code of conduct tribunal that lead to removal of CJN. I didn't remember all these name calling and use of abusive words to all Igbos because of one person. Now Mr Ikenga-Imo went to court for something that concerns a legislation leadership aspirant (from Yoruba extraction) , then hell is let loose. All sorts of abusive words to all Igbos. Do we really want this Nigeria to work? If this forced marriage cannot be nurtured to work then let's do the needful. Why is politics and politicians making use of our brains like this. A very little political matter we are already calling all tribes name. What? |
The greediness of African leaders is worth researching because it is beyond normal. |
Abuja residents have entered trouble for not voting Buhari oooo. You will think he's friendly to you with those statements...naaah! He will come after you stylishly. Welcome to 5%! |
How on earth will one ever believe the infamous political Maradona. If you believe IBB then you will believe anything. I don't know if he is being sarcastic or simply mocking us. All these men have been playing ping pong with our nation since time. |
I didn't read down but the subject line and introduction is very good to me. That's the way to go. The present structure would never lead us anywhere. And the earlier we start tinkering with the present then there are chances we would get the right formula to move Nigeria forward. |
Fantastic hippocrit. True leadership is based on character and unfortunately many Nigerian leaders are deficient in it. Who is fooling who? |
If Buhari have not sorted out his key ministers by now then he will likely repeat same mistake as first tenure. |
CoolAmbience:I guess I am talking to the wrong person. A paid agent who has his job cut out - to paint Buhari as Spirit and not human being with his failures. I am out! |
Well done ops for speaking out. I followed your story page by page. This is sort of dymystifying the so called secretness in cultism and now the world could see that there is nothing extraordinary about it but foolishness, pains, loss of freedom, loss of life and degeneration of dignity of man and even sanctity of life. How will one want to go through such lifestyle full of absurdity. And you don't even trust those your so called cult colleagues. You will end up doing despicable things. Looking for and getting troubles here and there, always at unease and on the move. And of course the primary reason for going to school is in most cases defeated and replaced with weird lifestyle as you struggle to graduate. What do they really gain but wickedness, vices and crime. Cultism is evil no matter how it is painted. I'm not sure what Wole Soyinka et'al was thinking when they founded this dreadful thing. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. STAY AWAY From Cultism! |
CoolAmbience:What more do you want me to say that I have not said. Of course we will not agree on this because of our different views but using the word paranoid I think is unnecessary and unfounded. I am speaking as I feel and as a citizen. I ain't representing any interest. I voted him in first term irrespective of friends and colleagues view about him. And as it turns out, they were right and I'm wrong. He wasn't the messiah I was hoping. And if no lesson(s) was learnt at all on first term then ![]() Like I said before, let's wait and see...12th June ba! It is around the corner. |
CoolAmbience:My friend, reality is not hidden except one chooses not to see, which is equally legit. Government should not be too defensive when criticised but should pick things along even as it debates, just for the good of all. Government I understand should be for all. Sometimes spectators see more than the players and because all of us cannot play at the same time it behoves of wise players to listen so that they can win. Let's see what surprises will come on 12 June. |
CoolAmbience:Good speech from you but the reality is opposite. For me I see no hard thing for the president to speak to his people on 29th May and as well on 12th June. But we'll wait and see. Someday we will taste leadership and we will all feel it. |
