Abia State government up till now have not tidy up Aba, why? What does it take? Such an enterprising city have suffered terribly by being abandoned by successive governors including Ukwa_Ngwa man in power now. Why?

As ambitious as he's, I'm pretty sure he won't be a Judas to betray the common good of his people like the 'well known betrayers do'. He's gonna be doing just fine like he did in this 'ruga issue'.
God's willing. Finger crossed.

Even if they are not united for anything, at least on this 'ruga issue', you read how united they were. Quit anticipating that Dave would be a sell out; so far so good, he has done well as SE governor's forum leader.
Yes, he is trying I agree. I pray he doesn't sell out in any matter that concerns Igbo's common interest just because of political ambition. We can't afford it.

He should take it further and unite the SE towards development and fight against poverty. He is capable of doing this if he wants.
PoliticsRe: Insecurity: Begin Dialogue To Avoid Anarchy, Group Tells Buhari by EagleNest(m): 1:07pm On Jul 20, 2019
No he should keep on comparing Bayelsa and Kano.

Nigeria need unifying leader at this juncture not a divisive one. He should tame the tide of insecurity in the country before it becomes uncontrollable.

Dave no dy warm up to the north oga. Since this ruga stuff, you don hear am say anything otherwise wey go affect alaigbo?
I hope so. He has great potentials but sometimes it takes abit of time to know where exactly he stands in sensitive national issues. He is leader of SE governors forum. I thought by now SE should have united for common development but the leaders are not working together. Bickering over frivolities.

I am sitting down sir. Seems Umahi and Obiano are in competition, I didn't know. But both are politicians with duality. You don't know where they stand or what they believe. Thank God Dave did the needful on RUGA.

I agree he is the best thing that has happened to Ebonyi State so far but that doesn't mean he is not an ambitious man, which is equally good. Just that he doesn't need to agree on everything to please the North in hope of future payback.
PoliticsRe: Insecurity: Nigeria Is A Country Without A Government – Junaid Mohammed by EagleNest(m): 5:12am On Jul 20, 2019
Almost two months gone and the President doesn't deem it fit to appoint ministers to such a complex entity called Nigeria. Na wa ooo! His former military days and styles is rubbing on him. We are in doldrums. Just existing like that...no push, no move!
PoliticsRe: Ruga Comment : Abia State Government Disowns Kalu by EagleNest(m): 5:06am On Jul 20, 2019
SEN Kalu and Governor of Ebonyi State, both seemingly have a future interest of presidential aspirations or vice president ship. That's why their tone of language and actions are towards warming up to the northerner by aligning to any of their perceived interest.

It would have been something else unimaginable! Whatever we have learnt today to advance ourselves technically and intellectually is via western education. If we have not encountered the missionaries we could have been century time backward. That’s the reality!

Ibos love to deceive themselves, feeling like they know how to do business. There type of business is the reason the economy is not growing

They keep saying they have businesses abroad, i live in Europe, i don't know where the businesses are here. Yea they travel to China for substandard commodities and bring them to Nigeria to sell. What is igbo man business in Malaysia?? Lol
I smelt jealousy in your writeup. Most Igbos business are mainly micro to medium scaled. And every economy in the world needs this kind of business. Igbos produce/manufacture locally and as well import. It all depends on dynamics of govt policies. Recently, it is becoming cheaper to import than manufacture bc of cost coming from lack of electricity. Igbos make available all choices for you but you will mostlyprefer imported. Even Nigeria govt like imported cars too!

Asari talkam as e be! British will say "bang on!" it is also expository essay to those other Nigerians who know little or nothing about Igbos business dynamics. It is highly competitive.
PoliticsRe: Go Back To Fix Your Wretched Communities: If So Smart And Rich by EagleNest(m): 3:45am On Jul 20, 2019
Say it louder so that the ones at the back will hear! Only us can emancipate ourselves from slavery of poverty. And it has to be done collectively with one mind. Escaping to foreign country doesn't necessarily solve the problem, instead it prolonged the solution. May be we are not properly wired to think developmentally and innovatively as the oyibos has, and always done. We don't ask questions to leaders but just worship them as if they are different beings. In fact the matter tire me.

He is being sarcastic in the denial of the report.

Deadlytruth:
Doing the first item on your list will automatically bring about all the other nine.

Seek ye first restructuring and every other thing will begin to fall into place on their own.

For example, if we return to the pre May 24 1966 structure when each region sourced for her own revenue, no region or state will waste hard earned revenue on an economically wasteful venture like pilgrimage sponsorhip. Availability of free unerned funds is the reason why all the problems you see persist.
Yes, you are correct.

What Nigeria need to do first is fish out those that truncated the confederal system of govt in place in 1966. Their entire household dead or alive should be made to pay the ultimate price for others to learn then I may consider every other foolish point you made.

Skipping punishment for the fools that truncated what earned Nigeria “giant of Africa” is a no no for all well meaning Nigerians except for sentimental bigots that want to eat their cake n still have it.
Good point. Go and get them from the graves. And yes, there are still few of them alive, in fact two prominent ones from middle belt, ex Generals, you know them go and get them. It's time you wake up from depravity of sanity caused by blindness of heart. The cure is simply "light", allow light into your heart. Think forward and not backward.
PoliticsRe: An Open Appeal To All Tribal Bigots On Nairaland by EagleNest(m): 5:37am On Jul 13, 2019
Nigeria will continue to struggle until the citizens does the needful. Below is ten things I think Nigeria needs to do to normalise itself back to reckoning as Africa Super Power.

1. Restructure Nigeria to pre 1966 structure or even a finer one, to allow each major ethnic blocks or groups stronger control of itself while the center controls national security etc

2. Start to enforce the law regardless of anyone's status. It is one of the most important.

3. Promote an image of a new Nigeria that we want to be seen as, just like Rwanda is doing, and sustain it.

4. Enforce accountability and zero tolerance to corruption at any level, and blaze the trail.

5. Stop govt sponsorship of religious prigmages. It should be a private affair and remain so. I don't like when govt openly sponsors prigmages. Why?

6. Start massive breathtaking infrastructure development in Nigeria and encourage regions to compete. Enforce orderliness in development.

7. Push for huge Agricultural development towards self food sustenance. Each region to contribute immensely

8. Push for massive industrialization driven by private sector towards made in Nigeria products with competitive quality.

9. Take Education to practical and unprecedented level, driving research and development to great stage unseen in Africa. Emphasis on artificial intelligence to be harnessed.

10. Professionalise the military, police, customs, immigration and civil servants with massive purge of the bad ones.

If we do all these, believe you me, other things will fall in place.

I don't think that is Lagos, It could be one of the African countries.
But I think the Biafra and Igbo factor is the reason the Fulanis have not taken over Nigeria
Hate Igbos or like them, they are the check and balance of the country Nigeria

Remove the Igbo factor and see everybody a Muslim in Nigeria
You make sense die. It would have been easier to conquer and dominate if not for Igbos opposite stance.

even the accuser haven't said anything since... nigerians are so easy to play
Don't see it that way. All these information builds up to knowledge of who he was, and what he has done or capable of. He may have reconciled with God but he has not restituted to the victims, that's why all these accusations is coming up. Being transformed to be a pastor but still indulges in those old things means old habits seldom dies.

There are couple of these pastors that their lifestyles alone gives out about who they truly are, but who am I to judge
