Childish topic with underlying hipocricy. Too many babies in Nairaland. |
Bad omen! |
Let's move forward folks. United we stand and divided we fall. We can't build Nigeria of our dream with hatred and divisiveness in our heart. Geography, language, religion and cultures are all human creations and have put barriers to essence of humanity which is to love one another unreservedly. Let's move forward! |
Good job EFCC. Yahoo boys are simply criminals and tarnishes Nigeria image. |
The law didn't hit really hard on this woman considering the amount of depositors money she squandered. Did she go to jail? |
Unless Nigeria is restructured with sincerety of purpose and in peace, we will continue to suffer. Last time, it was the Igbo this man was speaking against whenever he speaks about South, but now he has gone after Tinubu and Southwest. |
Dr Junaid that talks anyhow . This is party decision, whether influenced by Tinubu or not is imaterial. |
baysol:Clap for yourself... |
If the traders don't want it they should go straight to court. One thing is sure, power is transient. I guess this is a premeditated action after the successful electoral intimidation of Igbos in Lagos. If this action in computer Village stays, then next is Alaba, ladipo, etc. |
I could see that when the man mentions South generally, he's mainly referring to Igbos. This you can deduce from his specific examples. But Igbos are not the only ethnic group in the South? He also appears to have this sense of fear & distrust of Igbos with leadership. He didn't give any clear reason but people here are already thinking that they knew they'd hurt Igbos over the years. So they won't give Igbos chance to power to avoid pay back. But I doubt Igbos are that vindictive. |
Bunch of retards that enjoys terrorising everyone for their own pleasure because I fail to understand why they love killing people. |
hungryboy:You simply spoke my mind. Our value system is warped. Too sentimental to a fault. I don't really understand the catch here |
Beulah77:Correct. Even Lukaku and Sanchez. Man U need more serious squads than this batch of big men. They cannot chase ball or run around. And they'll end up frustrating any coach that comes. Even De Gea is affected by this las attitude. |
Like Father like son. He has his father's DNA. They talk flippantly and they harbour hatred for Igbos and Christians. We cannot move on like this. |
omenkaLives:Why is it your hobby to use unprintable names against Igbos? Why trying in vain to shut any critical views or opposition to govt action. You'll spew hate diatribe against the whole Igbos just because one of them spoke his mind. And you forgot that it was also an Igbo man by name Dennis Aghanya that brought the allegation against the CJN in the first place. And I can't remember you calling all Igbos name for that purpose. That's really partisan of you. If you're siding the government, that's fine to me, as far as you're doing it constructively and professionally. Don't lump the whole Igbo and start singing hate. Can't Nigerians debate and have conversations without name calling. The big task to grow Nigeria has remained a failure bc we hate criticism. And the fact that Nairaland moderators are powerless while hateful languages are used with reckless abandon in this platform worries me. |
Terror apologists in uniform and/or position of power in government are the worst terrorist. Their actions and inactions tells you where their heart lies. They're very dangerous b/c they hide their true colour. And this is one of the reasons Nigeria Army suffer a lot in the fight against BH. Some of their personnels are apologists. They'll share army secrets with enemy. There were a couple of suspected Senators who were accused same. Horrible and despicable. |
What an excuse! Most of us were frustrated by Nigeria government and system, but hey we didn't go on suicide mission by carrying drug. Your friend was simply greedy. I guess, if he had succeeded and blow, we won't have heard of the NDA part. ![]() |
Either one of them is lying or in fact both are saying half truth. What a joke of a country. So unserious! |
When you read some of the comments here, you shudder on how backward the heart of blackman have gone. Some Nigerians were elected (not appointed) as MP in UK in last general election to represent White majority in House of Parliament but here in Lagos it becomes 'teaching of lessons' contest to other ethnic group regardless of if you were born and nurtured there, and as well competent. Very shameful that it is all about ethnicity and not competence. |
Omotola should not be deterred. Keep on asking questions and ignore the jest and subtility of APC/Presidency response. Of course, they don't know what they're doing but don't stop asking questions. |
The oba general of Lagos is Tinubu. Of course the lesser oba will exonerate him even when he did not ask for it. Anyway average Lagosians knows that Tinubu was the arrow head behind Ambode's removal. It doesn't matter if you're working or not, he will want to remind you of his lordship bc he controls the party structure. He attempted same on Fashola but backed out at last minutes when he realised it could backfire. |
Wiseandtrue:Well said! And they wholeheartedly voted APC again. Why voting them again after realizing that it's kind of a scam.l'm not understanding |
Nigeria government has always been an embarrassment when it comes to citizen rights. Of course, it is how you make your bed so will you lie on it. We refused to tinker with so many things that doesnt work and expects Nigeria to progress. No way! And we want to run abroad to countries where government and societal structures are dynamic and not rigid as Nigeria. For Nigeria to work, let's start by first amending or creating a functional constitution that will restructure Nigeria. We can keep on postponing it but it is inevitable for our survival. |
I don't like traitors and backstabbers one bit. |
In Nigeria case, after Obasanjo left, the middle class started thinning down slowly under Yardua/GEJ govt. And today in current dispensation it seems to have reduced to abyssimal level while the lower class has expanded astronomically. Poverty is rife in Nigeria. |
For those above watching and commenting with ethnic lenses, I felt sorry for you. Why the chase for the shadow while the players themselves are chasing the substance. ![]() Keep on fighting useless ethnic fight while the players keep on scoring. ![]() |
I smell corruption. Indeed mega one! Why is Nigeria this corrupt? Why? |
Travelling is a hobby @mbuhari |
Both State and Federal police should co-exist independently but with clear and marked areas of collaborations. They should be properly trained, reasonably renumerated and given proper welfare to reduce bribery and corruption that has bedevilled them. In this age of technology, they should go digital and try to prevent crime rather than react to crime. Legislation should place controls to avoid excesses and hijack by executive. It is doable. Let's give it a try. |
yerokunphilips:You talkam as e be! At least it looks modern. |
Wao! That's beautiful. Can it be adapted as prototype for other small police stations. I hope too it cost reasonable. |
