Do we at all keep tab on what our current elected leaders do before projecting and conjecturing about 2023. We are too preoccupied by who will become president and where they come from, rather than fighting for our collective survival by holding these selfish politicians accountable.

For me, none is really good but as bad as Babangida, Abacha and Jonathan were, Buhari seems to be worst both as Military Head of State and as democratically elected president. He is far too insensitive and lack understanding of leadership.

1) Zoning of the presidency is in the Constitution of the PDP but not in the NOT in the Constitution of Nigeria or APC.

Rotational presidency between the North and South or between the 6 Geo-political zones or between all the tribes of Nigeria?

2) The North or anyother part of Nigeria is heterogeneous and have those who will definitely vote for an Igbo candidate. The onus lies on the Igbo candidates to increase this numbers.

3) By the way, why do some Igbos have this defeatist mentality that other Nigerians will not vote for them? Whose fault is this?

On your third point, Igbos are not fools. In an abusive marriage trying to please your partner doesn't always solve the problem. You rather tell me why you guys don't like Igbos despite all they've done to improve any community they live in. When it comes to power or military positions, you thread with cautions but not the other way round. You see, I'm beginning to feel and see that the soul of average Igbos is no longer in Nigeria project as it currently stands. I just hope I am wrong.

Of course, they can't publicly take ownership of crimes perpetrated by their members. They've got to mount some public defence meanwhile the killings go on.

The problem is NOT the North or the S/West but the people that want to be president. Nobody will call anyone and hand over the presidency to them just like that!

For now, only the APC and the PDP have strong structures and wide acceptability to win the Presidential election.

What happened to rotation of presidency?

Like I said historic mistrust will not allow this to happen regardless of party and the North doesn't even hide it.

Let Igbo man by mistake become a flag bearer in APC or PDP for instance, the North will align to another party with northern or western candidate and could may be tell us "rotation of presidency" is not binding to anyone which is correct. So theoretically you are right to say what you said, but practically it is a mirage.
