if you plan to hold one year - I will personally pick the 3. Honestly the 3 stocks are good for 1 year holding, but one cannot really say how they will perform. Whichever way I would definitely have Oceanic in there.

If historic trends should be used to judge I will not pick UBA. Returns in the last 1 year has not be anything to write home about

Make una help me judge matter for Mathias.My colleague for work call me say him like as I dey do my stocks.He now gave me 8 thousand pounds to invest on his behalf in stocks.One week after investing the stocks the guy call me say,someone tell am say Nigerians are crooked people so he wants his money back.Unfortunately the stocks have fallen small in value.If I sell now I go lose money plus broker chargers.The agreement wasthat I should buy and sell when the stocks make 25 percent for him-Caveat Emptor(You can lose your capital and you should only trade in money you can afford to lose)

Please been trying to upload the data after installing aptistock. It gets to the end of the process but it just stops with a message
import EOD DATA finished staying there for almost 20 mins before i exit it.
Does it take so long to upload, I don't get any error messages too.
I notice the Aptistock data downloader does not even begin to upload "fill in green" all through the 30 or so mins,
Using version 1.13.

@Aktopgun - you would actually find aptistock better than nigeriansecurities, as you would be more in control. And can check prices, RSI, MACD etc on other days other than the current day as you would have on Nigeriansecurities.

i am having trouble loading aptistock big time. i have followed your instuctions on page 1 but it gives giving me messages like "can't download file" or the like.

what am i doing wrong. i downloaded the aptistock 1.12 version because the 1.13 was corrupt.

Hmmm, I don't know your risk appetite, so I'll just recommend both CICO and others

Fundamentally -- oando (sure you've read all the buzz already from last week). [b]PRESCO too (I bought at 14 some weeks back though)[/b]NSL -- both cico and fundamentals. Today would have been ideal but tomorrow won't be too late either.
UTC -- cico. Will not hold for more than a week at the most, or at least watch until you notice any turbulent signs.
FAN -- potentially good Long term. Also good for cico. Be looking to sell before it hits the 6 mark (strictly my opinion though).
IPWA -- highly risky. Cico only, would not hold for more than 5 days or thereabout (what with the feb. 6 syndrome )

As usual, these are just my opinions.
