greentree, na God I take beg u o! No vex again na! No join issues w/ anybody! No underhanded yabbing (I used to be very sarcastic so I fully understand all your yabbis). If you have any questions, I commit to answering them to the best of my abilities and I'm sure others will too. Did read your epistle about Nap. Interesting, but it seems with his depature (blueband-induced or no), that phase is behind us now. Make we look forward na. |
wyt, no call me sir o! |
Krrush:UBA and Diamond are great for the long-term. No too envy the CICOers. Judgement (bear market) go still come. |
Omoba3:No wahala. Rain na only today, next few days will be glorious weather (after a week in yodi-country ). We'll try to keep it that way till u get here.T10 dey come H-Town too? T-10, I get shopping list for u! Holla at your boy! ![]() Ok, I've pulled a 12-hr day. Good night. |
Femtex:IN the last 2 years Longman has posted great 4Q and FY results. No reason to fear |
Femtex:We go invite you no worry! loma:LOL! Na real military school! So tay dem no gree do 9-80 But as we say (or are told to say) you can't argue with the numbers. |
"small-pocketed pumping"! LOL, could not resist! ![]() No vex na! I just thot I'd issue a disclaimer that it was not I who tried to contact olu faje. Could care less about the docs that were pasted anyway (didn't seem viable). I guess "Chief" and Olu got their wires crossed and na u dey pay the price. In the long run, maybe we small-pocketed individuals are better off playing our own games and being local champions. Chief and his peeps strike me as being a tad bit sensitive to our generations ways. |
Kashif:Go to the person's profile and find the messaage you'd like to quote (under "show last posts" . Hit quote and it'll copy that message into a quote and take to a post reply page |
loma:Not downtown but Greesnpoint. I guess that reveals my employer's identity since we are the only firm crazy enuff to work in "guns"point. I dunno who Huckabee is and I certainly don't have the time to play games with user ids. Thanks for clearing the air. |
The SEC has updated it's site. Only useful if u bought Thomas Wyatt or DCVF Oil and Gas http://www.sec.gov.ng/allotmentposition.htm |
Singapore? Malaysia? Gimme feedback when you return. Me self no go mind visit those kind places. |
damoche07:I can't remember where I read it but there was some buzz a few months ago about an impending IPO (or was it PP first?) for ETB. We all know Adenuga must clean house first before he can approach the market - his know-all, be-all managament style is the stuff of legends. I do some googling l8r today. Speaking of Legends, why r the Arsenal peeps |
wanaj0:For good or on vac.? If na for good, I'll tell Uncle sam (or mama charlie) to tax u on capital gains o. Na your money we go take fix the school systems in Oyibo-land. |
OK e don do! ![]() AKT don win. I go come back. After this afternoon. Dem wan take work kill me. I'm back from my vacation, trying to dig my way out of the ~100 emails I got while I was gone. BTW, for all those who sent me emails, my apologies for my tardiness. Will get round to replying in a couple of days. |
texas543:God bless u. Mr President, no be so we dey do for here. Oya, no vex. Give us feedback after your seminars and good luck. |
@ texas and Mr President, Please na, no start another battle! @Barge, ¿dónde está usted. Are you now a silent reader? @ all, did I read correctly that RT Briscoe's closure date has been moved to April? |
Highlander:Ahh. Gracias amigo. easimoni:Never mind, FSDH just delivered ![]() RT Briscoe results were a bit disappointing; PAT was 610M when the projection was 635M. PAT growth was 15% vs 166% for 2006 over 2005. Looks like RT is about to become a value stock. Good thing (for me) they declared a bonus. Hopefully, I can bail out with my 20-25% on Thursday (the real closure date since the market is closed on the 21st and 24th) |
But why is the TURN OVER DROPPING ![]() ![]() ![]()
The turn-over for RT Briscoe dropped? or did the volumes traded drop? Can someone please post the results (not yet recieved my FSDH update)? Please! |
loma:LOL, una no go take laff kill me o! |
dejavoe:dejavoe, Abeg, email me the thing and I go "megaupload" am so u don't need to keep emailing everyone. My email is easimoni2004 at yahoo dot com |
wyt:I am reposting tghe third message from this thread Now that you have the NSE OLHC/Volume data (named NNSE to avoid confusion with AptiStock's Indian NSE), go through the following steps to import the file.wyt, Have you unzipped the NNSE file? Did you follow these instructions to the letter? |
@Oga Easi & All, Have you noticed that the indicators in Aptistock give different readings to that in Nigeriansecurities. For eg, 14 day RSI for Guaranty Trust today is 52.33 on Nigerian Securities and 46.61 on Aptistock. Also the values for the Stochastics on Aptistock really differs to that of the Fast/Slow Stochastics on Nigerian Securities. Does any body know what the J value of the Stochastics on Aptistock stand for?, If you set the K (14)and D (3) values, you get different results on Aptistock to what you get in Nigerian Securities
I'll have to get back to you since I'm not yet home but my guess is that the difference is due to the varation in OHLC data the differfent sites seem to have. Savvy and I use ZSL for our price updates. It is well documented that ZSL and Nig Sec often have diff sets of numbers on most days. No I don't know what the J values stand for. |
AKtopgun, thanks for your reply! I no see easimoni for Vancouver o!. In fact I no see ANYmoni sef. Your reply to my question( post 21079) addressed going long term, I guess i didn't phrase it properly. I wan do CICO with equities that have a 31/12/07 full year end. Maybe i should call it quasi-CICO because i can hold for asl ong as it takes for the results to be announced. Fundamentally sound companies only. Wetin u feel?
U no see me? Na me dey queue for visa at west pender! ![]() As a newbie (welcome) make I give you an out-of-the-box suggestion; First Inland bank! Dey watch as the thing dey decline but pick it up when you feel a support. They'll triple PAT after the current FY and banks have had a pretty decent record of meeting the projections in prospectuses (or is it prospectii?). Unfortunately, the FY will be truncated at 8 months because of the Dec YE edict. But I like it as a growth stock. Other than that, UBA, UBA, UBA. BTW, I no get First inland but I get UBA plenti. And I don comot Vancouver; mission accomplished. |
samstone4:I read an IBTC report that claimed margin facilities had reached N700b in 2007. At 15% interest, it must be contributing close to 100B to the topline for banks. wanaj0:Which one be food concepts? And is 4.40 a good deal? |
@ wyt and alex, why una carry Forex reach here na? Not cool at all! ![]() tiwantiwa:Amen, much appreciated. wyt:Did you read the first 5 messages on this thread and follow the instructions verbatim? When I get home, I'll try adding pics to the instructions to better guide you. |
@ ALL, nice to see peace return to the house. I'll miss Napoleon sha. @ Yodi/t-banj This una country cold o! @ Blueband, You be Jay-Z brother! I don't follow rap but I understand his retirement is over already? I'm gone for one day and your retirement is over too! I was thinking of sending AKT to bring you back but here u are. windywendy:A whole WW no fit extract the gist? Na because of that gist I leave madam for room dey pay for internet for hotel lobby o! WW, find the gist o! Na potentially goodish gist or baddish gist? @ ALL, If you have cash, hold till Friday o! The blood is much too much. |
yodiyokun:http://stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school:chart_analysis:candlestick_pattern_ The John Murphy book is also useful. yodiyokun:Spring break ke? Na ya side I dey come. Vancouver actually. All man dey head south, I dey carry my head north. Na condition bend crayfish. |
andico34:Yes, you are correct. I'm sure it was an honest ommission on Lanre's part. Here is that data valid till Today, March 10. lanre over to you. |
Yesooooo my man AKT I bailed out at N15.40, just some sha, and realised I made 202% net profit just in three months. I want to thank you so very much for the candle light. The only concern I have now is: WHY ARE ABUSES ON STRONG OFFER AND FOCUS ON STRONG BID ![]() ? You fit shine your Candle on this one![]() ? This NSE sef Anyway with my AG Leventis upcoming loot, I WILL NEVER BE ANGRY WITH ANYONE No matter the disrespect
LOL! Good one! All, yours truly is going on a (well-earned) vacation. See you Monday. Aptistock update will be posted in minutes. Take care and God bless. |
babagboin:AHHHHHH! You must be my brother from another mother! Didn't you just think to yourself "I must help easimoni get some more Chams too"? That is because you are a very astute and wise man ![]() Ok, I'm done sucking up, how we go take enter that deal na? |
Omoba3:I don respond to ya email! rasputinn:LOL! You don start o! Anyway, I can neither confirm nor deny the accuracy of this potentially (or otherwise) spurios contention. The ambiguity of the claim by my learned colleague leads me to vacillate regarding the veracity of this issue. Yes, I needed a dictionary. ![]() |

Na me dey queue for visa at west pender!
), but na so-so "hush, hush, don't tell anyone" I dey hear. Kai, looks like we have to wait for the media on that one, but there's definitely something brewing there.
