Romance › Re: 6 Things You Should Never Do On Your First Date by Eaugusta(f): 6:51am On Nov 09, 2018 |
joyfullyjoyous: Some ladies can be funny. I remember a lady that had a date with a new guy she met. When they got to the joint and was asked to place her order, she quickly got up n went to the barbeque stand. When she got there, she ordered the biggest fish that she couldn't finish. Her date was surprised when the fish was brought and asked if she could finish it to which she said yes. Not quite long a man selling bitter cola passed by. She called him and took bitter cola worth about N300. Rather than pay herself, she asked her date to pay. He handed her N500 note n when the balance was given to her,she quickly put it in her purse. According to her friend that was there, she could not finish the fish barbeque and had to ask for a take away pack. Funny enough when she got home,it was her dog she gave it to as she was staying alone. A working class mature lady at that that was always complaining she had no man in her life. That's the last time she saw the man as he was pissed off. I find it difficult to believe this story. What! |

I am also surprised from these pictures, it shows maintenance culture isn't in our country. You are very correct, I was also there 2013 and it was an awesome site to behold. Our maintenance culture is F9 |

Lilimax: Good! This piggy bank makes one to stop all these on-the- spot buying especially things you don't necessarily need. I feel it'll make one save all these loose cash that flies around in your bag Will give it a try! It's worth it, started mine August and since then I have learned how to cut off unnecessary expenses. Don't even intend breaking it any moment soon. I think you should actually give it a trial |

Admitwithschola: Thanks for the details. Your age is still good. 4.0 or 3.9 is not bad. Unfortunately we will need a bachelor’s degree transcript to proceed. When you get this, search for one of our adverts with my username and then email the transcript, the back transcript. We will access and if need be request the HND transcripts as well. But you will need to be quick because we have till end of October.
For jobs, unfortunately I can’t help with that. I am not in your field.
It seems it is you that God brought me here to meet. For further questions, send us an email. This year could be your year, if all goes well Thanks so much, will act fast to get the transcript |
Career › Re: Should I Leave My N200k Job For Abroad Job? by Eaugusta(f): 3:14pm On Sep 23, 2018 |
Admitwithschola: This sounds good. Surprisingly, I belong to a team of young people that mentor other young and academically hardworking Africans. Perhaps you've seen one of our adverts.
Which school did you go? What did you study at uni? What was your GPA at both HND and BSc? What is your age? Do you have transcripts of your studies?
Your education looks decent to me. Mech is a hard course to study and perform above average. Answer those questions Thanks for your response and the encouragement, I may have actually seen one of your advert but wouldn't know because I don't know your team's name. I finished from Federal Polytechnic, Nekede with 3.12 in Mechanical Engineering, after which I proceeded to University of Port Harcourt for Post HND (top up); it's a 3 years program which I rounded up March this year still awaiting result but confidently, I am sure by God' s grace that my CGPA is between 3.90 to 4.00. I am 29, I can apply for my HND transcript but currently can't apply for the B.eng own as it is not ready at the moment. |
Career › Re: Should I Leave My N200k Job For Abroad Job? by Eaugusta(f): 8:37am On Sep 23, 2018 |
Admitwithschola: You guys just make up stories.
As I said before, if some of us weren't exposed to how things actually are, we would be believing some of the things that are said here.. Some of you just throw numbers how you like.
$55,000 per year comes to $43,000 after tax. Please can you smartly explain how "bills and living expenses" can possibly take almost 84% of this, for a single guy with plans and no wife and pikin bukata or family bukata?
Even me living in one of the expensive cities here, with all the bills and all, if I had a plan todo business, I can live on 24,000 dollars per year, easily.
Sometimes I marvel for nairaland posters. That's how the other one said blacks and Nigerians don't get top jobs abroad.
And even if we assume very wrongly that he is only left with 7,000 dollars savings after all expenses and taxes, that is still way more than what he will save in Nigeria on a salary of 200K per month (assume zero tax, which is not even correct)..
So, in case you have not thought it well, think again. Some of us have lived in both situations. We are not just typing..
And by the way, you guys should stop telling the OP he is making a mistake. I remember the story of one nairalander 5 years ago, I forgot his name ooo. He worked for Addax and was earning around 500K or 1million per month. Then he got a scholarship to Tu Dellft and he wanted to resign. Everyone thought he was mad, as per naija factor, lol. Oh, you're making the worst mistake of your life, ooh, abroad is hard, ooh, this and that...But,, the guy resigned and dared them. He went to Tu Delft, did the 2-year masters and fantastically landed a job paying him multiples of his naija salary..Guy, if na your story, abeg show here.. The same people telling him he was making the worst mistake of his life were the ones praising his decisions.
If OP's education side is very tight, and the job is sure, I would take the job sharp, sharp..So, there are many variables involved here. This life has big opportunities and sometimes one needs to take calculated risks Clearly you've really spoken out of experience, thanks for the insight. Please if you can, help a sister with fully funded scholarship link for masters or a job link. I studied Mech. Engr., have HND upper credit, B.eng 2.1; currently learning piping design. Hey its frustrating when you know where you are coming from, you make effort to build yourself and yet keep being frustrated by the surrounding conditions. Depression is gradually creeping in, God should just please help His own daughter |
Career › Re: Should I Leave My N200k Job For Abroad Job? by Eaugusta(f): 8:23am On Sep 23, 2018 |
donsiqua: Thank you sir I have a great relationship with my parents but they have there fears- that I may go there and not return and worst still marrying a white woman lol I have tried to convince them but to no avail I think you should draw a plan scale of how long you want to work there, gather your self and come set up your company, then talk to your mum about the plan, make effort to convince her. Are you in a serious relationship? This will really help by introducing her to your mum with the assurance that you can't leave her and marry a white woman. Also you did mention that you can be running your company and working, earning 200k monthly in addition to what comes from your company, can you still get the offer when you return? So many things to put into consideration. Then chose the best considering your family BTW: you can help a sister look for job, I studied Mech. Engr., good at piping design, and very dedicated to work with so many other skills. God bless you |

Una believed system is too low abeg. Lol, May the Holy Spirit open up your mind to learn and teach you all you need to know as a Christian |
Health › Re: "We Are Both AS Genotype And We Don't Consider Break-Up As An Option" by Eaugusta(f): 8:30am On Jul 16, 2018 |
Nnamdiojukwu: Yea,I am better than those who called hail Mary cos they do not know what they are doing. I put it straight to you that you are not a Christian, how can a so called Christian be filled with criticism deviating from the original topic and diverting to religion just to criticize? I am a proud Catholic, not even people like You who doesn't know God can stop me from giving honor to a great woman who gave up her free will to God's will to carry in her womb my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her one wish is to see her son known and loved and it's perfectly inline with God's wish; if she can make it easier for me to know and love her son why not call for her intercession? Are you in any way better than Angel Gabriel who greeted her "Hail Mary"? My dear as a Christian focus on doing the right thing that is pleasing to God than offending Him (God) with your criticism. Thank you |
