It can be recalled that the same government in this con3 some years back forced okada riders to buy helmets and any motor cycle rider caught without helmet and the passenger is arrested and fined. it could be recalled that contracts for these helmets were awarded to some people and hence the compulsion on its use by these ordinrary Nigerians so as to enrich the pockets of these so called cabals. Now after spending d money they got from that project, the same people are now busy banning the use of okada up and down. so the question is what do we now do with all these helmet they sold to us? are they going to refund us our money? yes we know the use of okada hs pose a serious security challenge in this con3 but what about those affected? which alternative is provided to this class of Nigerians? Let me get your opinion on this and so many other abandoned government policies i.e the use of a new plate number even though we already have an existing registered plate number.
