PoliticsRe: National Judicial Council Reacts To Arrest Of Judges, Bars DSS From Arraignment by ebby9z(m): 9:10am On Oct 14, 2016
sucess001:
it is not the work of the executive to cleanse the judiciary. it is the constitutional work of the NJC and they re doing a good damn job at it...rather...buhari is to uphold the constitution ...that is wat he swore to...meaning he should uphold the constitutional provision to allow NJC deal with judges but he hasnt...cant your brain process that?
Failure or whatever your name is, first, you don't get to insult me...i assure you you don't wanna go down that road. Comment like you have a semblance of sanity... Even if you've been repeatedly told you don't.
Secondly, you talk about upholding the constitution, is subverting judgment and commercializing trials upholding of constitution, even by the very custodian of the constitution. No country can move forward if the judiciary is rotten. Democracy would become a joke and the ordinary man on the street would be doomed because his last hope, which is the judiciary has gone to the sewers
PoliticsRe: National Judicial Council Reacts To Arrest Of Judges, Bars DSS From Arraignment by ebby9z(m): 8:39am On Oct 14, 2016
freeze001:
I can see that Nigerians persist in believing lies fabricated by the DSS/FG against the Judges. It is good that the interpreters of the law a.k.a the Judiciary has made it clear that the DSS acted outside its jurisdiction and lied about having filed complaints or petitions against some of the judges arrested particularly d Supreme Court judges. There is no petition against them!

They also failed to provide evidence to back their claims against Justice Pindiga and still went ahead to raid his house. For what reason? In the event they even succeed in bringing him for trial before any court will it not be the same story and failure to prove allegations? So why the overbearing and unlawful attacks?

All this government through the DSS has succeeded in doing is tell everyone within and outside Nigeria that they are prepared to harass and intimidate the Judiciary that is supposed to be the neutral umpire for any disputes. They have also succeeded in exposing them to possible danger and threats even from litigants and their relatives whose criminal conducts landed them on the punitive side of the law through those judges.

Now it is obvious that there is nothing but a vendetta against the Judiciary from the Executive so even security operatives can no longer be trusted to carry out their duties when assigned to any of the judges. The judiciary has just been desecrated and raped in the most denigrating and clandestine manner and I wish the NJC even demanded an official apology from the Presidency and DSS for their reprehensible and illegal actions.
So your point is that the judiciary is faultless and incorruptible? Are you saying it's wrong to cleanse a judiciary that will gladly send a man to life imprisonment for stealing a goat but will hand out a fine of 750,000 for someone who told pension funds of 700mil.
Or need I remind you of the innocent souls languishing in prisons all over the country because the judges can't be bothered with giving them a fair hearing?
Or the innumerable tribunal cases where they uphold rigged elections and in turn encourage election malpractice
Lest I forget, it was a judge that allowed Ali Mustapha to go scot-free after being formerly sent to the gallows
So, what's the point here?

This is a very serious issue. There's trouble in paradise. There's no doubt this beautiful woman had tried to talk to Buhari about these things but we all know about his ear issues... cheesy cheesy cheesy if he's not careful, he'll end up worse than Jonathan. The sly conniving foxes that lurk in the corridors of power will stop at nothing to consolidate their influence. It takes a wise, strong and principled individual to survive in such an environment

The NUJ are bunch of jokers.
1. They let Ibori walk free despite incriminating evidences against him. The same Ibori is currently serving Jail term in London prison
2. Remember the man that squandered Pension fund (trying to remember his name) . He embezzeled money ranging to 700million. Do you know the judgment the NUJ gave? He was released with bail of just 750,000 naira only.
The NUJ have been frustrating the fight on corruption since 1900. Do you want to know if I care about Due process? Hell to the No!!

A petty thief is being caught and lynched without a thought of Due process, these bigger thieves and saboteur of democracy should be arrested without any due process!!
I keep telling people this. But it seems the problem with some Nigerians is their lack of gumption. The judiciary is supposed to be the last hope of the common man. A faultless, impeccable system is what the judiciary should be

PoliticsRe: What Is The Work Of This Man Who Always Stands Behind Buhari? by ebby9z(m): 3:30pm On Oct 11, 2016
The thing is that in African, our leaders are too ostentatious and arrogant. You aren't considered a "big man" here if you don't look down your nose at others, order people around, have your shoes cleaned in public and have sycophants hovering around you everytime.
Its in Nigeria that a common LG chairman will have like 50 people standing behind him while he's giving a TV interview or commissioning something.
For me, having an ADC behind d president at all times doesn't mean the president is more secured than if he isn't there. It's all about intelligence, not force.

WebmastersRe: Zuckerberg's Visit: Nigerians Blast CNN For Not Adding 'Nigeria' In Its Report by ebby9z(m): 2:26pm On Aug 31, 2016
CNN and BBC;the 21st tool of black denigration of the unrepentant colonialists. I'd rrather watch Al-jazeera or our own TVC. I would have been actually surprised if they have mentioned Nigeria, they'd rather say Africa, Sub-saharan africa, West Africa...Lets just pray we soon have a voice of our own and stop relying on them to tell our stories

yrret:
I watched with keen interest to know which set of people are actually blasting CNN, but to my surprise all name checkers are involved, from yorubas through igbos and Hausa communities were sparking in unison demanding why Nigeria wasn't mentioned.

Truely, we are deceiving yourselves down here. Irrespective of our personal beef, hatred, mismanagement and religion we still love our country more than anything when it comes to external intersection and marginalization.

It could be the reason why international communities are scared of coming to help our internal problems.

Only for CNN not mention Nigeria for news, see as full religion, ethnic groups, haters and 'hatees' become team to fire down CNN.

My Country-My Country!
9ja! I hail!!

The Simple Truth: Americans are scared of Nigeria, Thinking if more recognition is given to Nigeria, we could quickly override their country and Nigeria will just be a country where other countries will emulate from.

I can Bet, Nigeria: will one day become the world's leading country

PoliticsRe: Armed Herdsmen: Afenifere, Ohanaeze, ACF Disagree On Fayose’s Law by ebby9z(m): 2:00pm On Aug 31, 2016
In as much as I dont usually agree with fayose's opinions or actions most of the time, I have no choice but to laud this new bill. we should remove the hypocrisy and tackle the brass tacks. Fulani herdsmen are not the only one doing business in Nigeria, why should the be given unlimited license to commit genocide in the country? Is it the government that rents me a shop if i wanna start a saloon, or buy me a generator if i want to open a beting shop, so why shouldnt cattle rearers invest in their business and create ranches for their cattle, at least they can afford it. Why should the cattle be allowed to roam freely unhindered in others farms and villages while murdering the inhabitants in the process? It is totally unjustifiable and inexcusable. What should the rearers in Argentina be doing? They should have killed half of the population because they rear ten times the cattle we rear here.
