He's incompetent, yes, but nobody is talking about who would replace him. Osinbanjo, Saraki, Dogara? |
If you can brazenly beat a person up like this, pour gasoline and burn a fellow human being, then you are a hardened mean human yourself. Justify it all you can, jungle justice is barbaric and primitive suffice it to say these same people eulogize and worship corrupt politicians who causes more cataclysmic damage to their lives |
MidasTouche01:It's obvious you don't understand a thing you're saying. He's the prime witness not the plaintiff. It's the public prosecution department in charge of that |
id911:You never wanted to comment but tribalism took the better of you and overode the natural mechanism God placed in your brain in case thinking goes awry. Issokay |
Temptee101:The stench of your verbal excrement is murderous. I wonder why you people revel in ethnic bigotry and excessive tribalism. You jump into a thread and instead of doing justice to topics, you launch into a barrage of hasty generalization about a whole tribe. What has education taught you?! |
DarkRebel101:Your grammar is too plenty ![]() |
Finally a thread on this issue! I thought I was the only one suffering from this dearth of intellectualism in our ladies here. I dated a law girl then back in school and was always encouraging her to read books, watch intellectual movies, listen to news and all...I did it as mildly and humanely as I could but eventually she turned back on me and told me to live her like that. I can't for the life of me enjoy myself around a lady I can't discuss anything intellectual with. Not history, not politics, not music, not science...just dresses, make up and snapchat. It's bad even while chatting. You bring up several conversation materials that you feel they can relate to and when you're exhausted and mentally drained - they definitely won't contribute but only respond like it's an interview - then you just end the chat. Our ladies need a mental revolution. Most of them are too obsessed with their faces and ignore their brain. |
Finland Will Become the First Country in the World to Get Rid of All School Subjects Finland’s education system is considered one of the best in the world. In international ratings, it’s always in the top ten. However, the authorities there aren’t ready to rest on their laurels, and they’ve decided to carry through a real revolution in their school system. Finnish officials want to remove school subjects from the curriculum. There will no longer be any classes in physics, math, literature, history, or geography. The head of the Department of Education in Helsinki, Marjo Kyllonen, explained the changes: “There are schools that are teaching in the old-fashioned way which was of benefit in the beginning of the 1900s — but the needs are not the same, and we need something fit for the 21st century.“ Instead of individual subjects, students will study events and phenomena in an interdisciplinary format. For example, the Second World War will be examined from the perspective of history, geography, and math. And by taking the course ”Working in a Cafe," students will absorb a whole body of knowledge about the English language, economics, and communication skills. This system will be introduced for senior students, beginning at the age of 16. The general idea is that the students ought to choose for themselves which topic or phenomenon they want to study, bearing in mind their ambitions for the future and their capabilities. In this way, no student will have to pass through an entire course on physics or chemistry while all the time thinking to themselves “What do I need to know this for?” The traditional format of teacher-pupil communication is also going to change. Students will no longer sit behind school desks and wait anxiously to be called upon to answer a question. Instead, they will work together in small groups to discuss problems. The Finnish education system encourages collective work, which is why the changes will also affect teachers. The school reform will require a great deal of cooperation between teachers of different subjects. Around 70% of teachers in Helsinki have already undertaken preparatory work in line with the new system for presenting information, and, as a result, they’ll get a pay increase. The changes are expected to be complete by 2020. How I wish Nigerian leaders could just think outside of the box and set a legacy for the unborn generation |
eezeribe:Seriously! You mock a soldier who died fighting for an unappreciative country. You should be flogged bare-assed |
Enyimbamercedes:Wow! Can you teach me, pls? ![]() |
All those money Nigerians were spending there, where did thy think they are getting them from? Everybody should stay in the country. Maybe then the rich will know what the masses are going through |
Pylony:Lmao! he's now a Nairaland celebrity o |
Not to cast aspersions on "anointed men of God, " I just wonder if he visits ordinary prisons were several innocent souls are incarcerated due to our ineffective judicial system. By the way, I heard some politicians now keep looted funds in church bank accounts. ![]() |

Twitter users condemn GTB for poor service after the bank posted an inspirational tweet from their official handle. An inspirational post tweeted from the official handle of Guaranty Trust Bank which says, "You can be angry, mad, sad, happy, but it's never necessary to be rude. Always have manners. 'Please' & 'Thank you' will get you far in life" saw several Twitter users attacking the bank and berating the mode of operation of the bank which they said included incessant deduction of money, ineptitude and unprofessionalism on the part of their customer care representatives and other "unethical" practices. Below are snapshots of the outburst on Twitter.

First,I salute all the brave, fearless soldiers putting their lives in danger to secure this country despite having to work under discouraging condition. However, my biggest salute is extended to the legendary whitebeard who not only made a heart rending faux pas but still came here to defend himself. I'm sure he even expects astronauts to take infinix phones to space and communicate to base here on earth with probably glo network ![]() |
You won't see the media promoting such competitions or big companies endorsing such competitions. But they can endorse people who discourage intellectualism and say "who book epp". Kudos to this kids |
Horlorlardaey:Understood. PM then |
DIFY20:Read what you typed then check yourself out in a mirror, don't you just hate yourself? |
Horlorlardaey:Level what , ma'am |
Horlorlardaey:It is o. Which dept are you? |
Saint52:Higher Education book is now 350. |
I wonder why I still brag about this school despite the fact that they ensure all your mates have graduated, gone for service and gotten married before they'd allow you to graduate ![]() |
CDQ just played himself. Why go through all that trouble just to establish you're not upcoming? Why curse and swear just because of an obvious error - that's if it's an error anyway. He just proved he's an up-not-coming artiste |
harnnarh:You're welcome. It could have been rectified |
These guys are buffoons. No safety gear, dirty bacteria-infested water and they are folding legs there. Third world country minister and COAS |
I see a lot of comments here and I'm disappointed. The girl made an error which they can easily reverse...provided she has not used from the credit. The reason organization have CSR dept is because of cases like this. The agent only needs to forward it to credit control and out the customer on the desired plan. Glo has the worst customer care service in Nigerian they have insufficient agents, which is why they not only respond late but also do not usually do first time resolution |
FriendChoice:Engaged to a girl of 6 and married her at 9! What's d difference? Who marries a 9 year old girl! Muslims! |
But this is sad. It's inexplicably bad! So, parents don't have rights to their kids in the north just because a certain Hot, perverse King desires her. The fact that someone can do that and get away with it certainly shows how backward the region is |
xkxtt:And who will arrest him? The IG? If I hear |
sucess001:You did as expected. Unfortunately here is the part where I realize replying you and trying to educate you is not unlike trying to boil stone. It's futile. You're beyond Redemption |
freeze001:It is audible to the deaf and obvious to the blind that the judiciary in the country has gotten extremely rotten...just like every other sector. But he danger here is that the judiciary is the final arbiter, they wield so much influence...we can't survive and grow with such a judicial system. Thats why if a rich man assaults you, you can not take him to court, because you know you will lose. If a politician beats up your wife, you can not sue him knowing he would emerge victorious. So, where's the last hope of the common man! When will we start the transformation that we have always talked about? If the NJC had been up and doing when they should, this issue would not have degenerated to this level. The mode might have been a tad unconventional but it's longterm benefits outweighs the disadvantages |
