He was probably referencing further cities down in Jersey. For clarification, it depends on where in Jersey you are coming from. Neighbouring takes 20 to 30 max but once you start going further down Jersey, then it's easily 2hrs

You cannot live in New York and have a New Jersey license plate.

If you go to the DMV to get your license plate, they will send it to your home address in that state you live in not a different state.
Even if you move to Another state, you will go to the DMV in that state you moved to, surrender your license plate, state ID and drivers license from your old state to them and they will give you a new license plate of their state.
Example is, if you live in New York and have a New York license plate, New York ID card and New York drivers license and you decide to move to Florida to permanently live.
You will go to the DMV in Florida, give them your New York drivers license, New York ID card, New York license plate and they will give you the Florida License plate and Florida ID card

Please Help A Brother...I newly married this beautiful young lady in her late 30's, and was shocked with what i saw with my eyes the first night of our wedding,she ended up messing up my newly purchased bed which i bought to appease our marital life,Had i known she was a baby adult,i wouldn't have gone into this marriage with her...No wonder she wouldn't agree to sleepover at my place while we were dating,,,i never knew there was a skeleton in her cupboard.After i noticed the drained bed on our first night together,She ended up giving an excuse that maybe she had drank so much water during the day/stressful day. Olodo. Check it again. The date the sample was collected and tested was July. The report date that shows december indicates somebody printed the report in December. I.e either the adelekes or sophia requsted for it and a report was generated. No wonder una dey fail exams

Your arguement is spot on by the way. In as much as i dont like the 2yr down payment, i dont also think the monthly thingy is fair on on landlords with the current situation of d economy
But as u know, we are not d one that makes this policys we can only argue about them.
But what i would have prefared is at lest a 6months-1yr down payment. And ur rent must be renewd 2months before expiration of the rent so in such case if a tenant defaults he would use out of the months he has paid for on court case if he wishes and at the end of the court duration the house owner dosnt have to loose rent.
This is how fair on my opinion could help both parties.

A landlord must know that he would make his gains overtime not on one time so as such he should be flexible with his rent collection n not make d lowly ones suffer

Why are you guys being ignorant. Landlords started the 1yr/2yr system because the government failed in it's duty to provide a credit rating system. The reason landlords would rather collect advance payment is because they have NO FAITH in you. Landlords do not want to have to beg for rent every month. There are areas where electricity bills are shared. Do you know how much effort, it takes to get the tenants to pay every month? Some tenants will refuse to pay while putting others in jeopardy.

Also, if a tenant refuses to pay, there are laws protecting the tenant. You can't just evict them right away. You have to go to court, give them eviction notice etc. At the end of the day you will lose 2 months or more extra rent. Then you have to start looking for another tenant again.

This is a foolish policy. Nigeria is not ripe for this yet. The only way it will work is if they ENFORCE direct debit from the tenants employer.

Whatever happened to the VIN checks prior to shipping? I thought they impose at least 3 days to clear a vehicle before shipping to make sure it hasn't been reported stolen? How are they able to pull this off? Also, most people who owned those cars probably still have payments on them so the title probably has liens? Something shady is up.
