Demariz: Alright,so i was at gra junction ph yesterday jan27th and just a stone throw away is the immigration office at rumoula there,so i went in to make an actual inquiry about the passport an all and met this official at the gate who showed me to a different man waiting outside, i know alot about DIY but i wanted to just watch him go(blab).
So,he said to procure the passport i had to pay 40k,i was like sir do you know you actually pay online? And he said ya,but when i come back there(immigration office) i will have to pay COMMITMENT FEE 10k,wtf? I guess he was satisfied by the bs,but i wasn't in for it,he wouldn't even let me go in to have a chat with the actual officials.
Please if you've been able to DIY in ph,i may need your guidance. Pls if you get help/info help me know too but why won't they allow u go into the offices kwa....this country tire me oo |

yunqdady: Go through the list of accredited SON and apply to private ones. If you aren't bad academically, you should pull through although they are more expensive but better in terms of transparency. Public ones are kind of dubious with admissions. I will recommend the private SON in Edo, competition is veryyyy low so if you are smart academically, it's easy entrance for you. Fees was about 400 initially for my sister that's there and almost through. U aren't far from the truth...so dubious....I passed my entrance/interview exams yet I was denied admission... Pls can u share names of private son in Edo |

Chiadannaye: Hello, Good evening. I know this is off topic, but I will like to talk to someone who went to nursing school to advise me the best school to apply too and what it’s takes It depends on where u wish to school.... But these are few facts... Private/mission owned schools of nursing easily give admission but are expensive,as some pay above 500k as a fresher... Government school of nursing are a bit cheaper than privates but the admission is competitive... So choose wisely |

sharone21: My sister's classmate in Nursing school was 64yrs... No excuse if u really want to succeed. You can graduate and still work for 30 years before retiring. But, note that admission WILL NOT be in Naija. Cameroon takes ANY age... You can start with HND, travel & work then run the BSc Nursing online.... Just be hardworking, focused and prayerful. Admission is possible in Nigeria |

MrHealth: Hello. Good Afternoon. Please I have a question. I am a Graduate from a Nigerian University. A Science Related background with Science O Level Results. I want to go back to School and study Nursing and practice in the UK, US or any other Country.
I have done my research and discovered I can do M.Sc Adult Nursing in UK (2 yrs) (but with healthcare experience) but the fees are just too high. Now I'm confused.
University Nursing is like 5 yrs again with JAMB. I don't know if I'm ready for another long hassle of spending another 5 yrs in University again. Thinking about the entire journey of writing "Probability" Jamb and spending those years in school again to get another B.Sc makes me so tired already.
Now I don't know what to do
Abeg I need advice or sponsor for M.Sc
Go tru a school of nursing, jamb isn't required, just pass the entrance exams & interview u will be admitted. In less than 4yrs u are through with it then u can start your japa journey.. |

crushsugar: Hello my people, I am back again. Heard I have been missed so much, make una no vex o. I have backlog of issues ...eh no be small but I can start small. Just a quick update, I have just finished my Bsc Top up, looking forward to starting a masters soon. It's been really an exciting and challenging journey at the same time. I must say again if you want to practice in the UK, please start your applications asap. Things are becoming harder by the day and rumours are having it that it might become harder. I also encourage people to start NMC application on time if possible before IELTS or simultaneously because it takes so much time these days. All the best from me. Ps: I promise to be better at this, so help me God. Congrats ma....welcome back |
