obailala:I intended not to respond or speak on this thread, but had to after reading your post, the second paragraph is a perfect explanation of the likely slowness or ineffectiveness perceived, but many on the forum I have realised are kids and inexperienced in life. They speak without analysis, they take sides for filmsy reasons and make comparisons between two periods in government that didn't face the same economic situation. I wish there was a place to post threads and have just reasonable people post things I can learn from. Even as a seasoned teacher myself I am still learning. Thanks for that post. I hope the warriors read it and learn with regards where I was coming from before castigating cos they lack understanding |
mikron:Well I agree but the issue is that he is learning from the wrong coach. That dullard would have already taught him his so called philosophy that turned us to boring united |
mekd:I quite agree with respect our league position even though I wonder how we got there, if we don't go out in the champions league can you envisage what a current Barcelona or bayern Munich could do to us? |
I am an igbo man. I am a Nigerian, I hope for a better Nigeria, I intend to do my best in hope for a better Nigeria, I hope to contribute towards repositioning my south East region towards development and growth, I have a vision that if after all efforts have been expended to end the marginalisation against my people and other minorities we will seek peaceful ways to secede. Today I speak as a Nigerian, threads are opened daily to depict the incompetence of this government, the fact that as it is today we the populace haven't seen a change in our fortunes as a result of voting the change people, painfully so the President has become a tourist who spares no effort in trying to appear internationally relevant. This and many more are being debated on various threads and as a good Nigerian I admit everything to be true. It appears our president has lost focus of the challenges pressing this nation, his government has given no succour to the masses who experienced a comatose Jonathan gudluck regime and hoped for a rejuvenation of our situation. It's shameful that it came to this, I am hoping the situation is addressed as fast as possible but meanwhile my confidence in my topic subject holds true. I will vote for buhari again If you have a political mind that never forgets, you will see the political growth trend of the Nigerian electorate from 1999 till date, whenever I hear change, I only voted for the change in government because I knew it would bring a change to our fortunes, this change may not be delivered by this present government, it might be delivered by the pdp come 2019, it could be delivered by the apga come 2022, it could be delivered by anybody, but the change of 2015 has taught Nigerians what change is and what type of change we desire. To be ruled at federal level by one party for 16 years is synonymous to a monopoly, we would have poor outputs at high cost to the masses. The emergence of the apc has broken that and today we can make comparison between two ideologies (pdp and apc) and come 2019, Nigerians will have an open field for proper political battle, where good intentions with proper plans and strategy for implementation will hopefully surpass the stomach infrastructure method currently employed. For this change to continue, I pray pdp wins in bayelsa if that's in consonance with the wish of its people, I pray all cases in court against the pdp will be lost with the pdp retaining power, I want the above because I want a strong and capable opposition, lest we return to the moribund days of a monopolistic ruling party that can't deliver on the dividends of democracy and yet we can't have a comparative analysis of their performance Sai buhari /apc Sai pdp Sai one nigeria Sai economic turn around Sai the power of the masses to kick out any government irrespective of party that has failed to deliver Sai changi |
mikron:do u feel our problem could be solved by more players? this stupid coach keeps talking about "the philosophy" and I wonder if he has gone senile, what so called philosophy is that which gives us alot of possession yet our football is suitable for view ship in a cemetery or at a burial. It really pains me so much. But let's keep watching an see exactly the rubbish that man has in mind |

starlily001:don't mind that naughty girl. She Don travel. I have bought camel skin koboko, imported from Chad to whip the bedevils out of her or any of all those possessed men who visit her dommot |
MssTee:guess that makes it boiled eggs. Or any other shenanigans of eggs that depicts idiocy |
mikron:hahahahahaha thank God am not the only one who observed our secretary coach |
GalzLuvYomy:Chelsea arsenal or at worst man city fan. |
pesty100:Oga I know what I am saying. I have worked with students for a long time, i was also a student and it's only today that I realise my folly back then. The Nigerian educational system is now such that students went through special centres to enter universities, during our days there was nothing of the sort, therefore if u find yourself in engineering, medicine or accountancy you will know you are meritious of it. Not today that un merits are studying courses they don't deserve, a lecturer duty is to guide you hitherto to lecture you. It's your duty as a student to educate yourself by self learning, peer collaboration and education tools, most of u so called students are not students rather they are simpletons who believe it's the lecturer's duty to make u pass and the moment you fail it must be his fault. I repeat again. Nigerian students are simpletons and fools, a majority of them educated illiterates, go to that same class that had all those fools and you will see the humans amongst them who scored something meaningful, was it not the same lecturer, was it not the same questions that were set? Please I have been around students for a long time to know what deebs they are. Nigerian students |
That moment I realised that LVG sold my Rafael to buy a darmain which is synonymous with selling a guard dog and then purchasing a goat instead to guard your home. That moment I realised the most highly paid English scam of a footballer is the captain of my team and similar to matter, he has weight and is occupying space meant for the real Juan mata or ander herrera That moment I realised that if one attempted a counter and passed the ball to ashley young, and then u watch him run at full speed haven already left the ball behind him. And Painfully he keeps on running That moment I realised that my all powerful team has become an also-ran side, and at best we can settle our pains the arsenal style (top four finish) That moment it dawns on me the hierarchy isn't planning on sacking LVG any time soon with rumours in the offing of a new contract That moment I realise the idiocy In LVG trying to lure Almighty Ronaldo away from Madrid with his useless back /side passing football That moment when I returned home after serious mosquito bites in the viewing centre only to realise that I blew off sex with that neighbourhood hoe just to be a true fan Feel bad. |
ABEngine:you have said it all |
Students of these days are similar to egg heads, their heads are empty, they refuse to read anything or make an effort on their own, you expect to be spoon fed, if you check that entire result there will be people who scored very well and if you interviewed such students you would quickly understand why they stand out amongst the rest of the fools in that class, it's not a lecturers duty to ensure you pass or graduate, it's the students duty hardwork and dedication. Mtcheeeeew |
zubino:as a free forum she has rights to post whatever nonsense she deems fit, but should that imply insults and abusive criticisms, this behaviour by people is what turns me off on online forums, to share you opinion will simply open one up to insults to parents and kin. It's shameful |
Estharfabian:naughty you ![]() |
misspicy:true, the guys also go through hell too, though the behaviour of we men makes it easier to bear as guys no dey form levels for each other, if you cook and hide it so boys no go see am, na dat day u go sabi say pikin wey talk say Im mama no go sleep, him sef no go sleep. They will steal the chow |
Estharfabian:yes and no. I didn't hurt no one, but I remember countless of times never helping out someone who could have been in need cod I didn't wanna be a maga. Only to find out it wasn't the usual Nigerian female scam. Well it feels good to sometimes wear other people's shoes. It's always educative |
The story by thatsincerechic whether fictitious or real, truly got to me. I am too compassionate, it's my flaw, the early travails of the lady she described made me sad and thus my reflections, I am not a mangina , according to that young man, it's just bring in touch with your human side |
3kay945:don't mind him, na small pikin dey worry am |
It's popular opinion that women are gold diggers, I have always broadcasted that phrase at any opportunity I had, I hate many women for what I perceived was a defect, but as I sit inside OAU campus, I am filled with Shame and regret at my perception, I am someone who always classes events and scenarios as either a cause or an effect, look at the life of a man, my boxers cost five hundred, my hair cost 200 to cut, I haven't bought or used any body cream or hair cream since Stella pomade, this means that if am broke, my brokenness is manageable and easily concealed except my enemies have now developed x-ray eyes to see my empty hunger panged stomach, please consider the faith of a broke lady, a lady who is disadvantaged financially, the cheapest weavon will cost 1500 to make, unlike a man she can't afford not using some cosmetics no matter how cheap, imagine the psychological trauma of not having anything to compete or be at par with her peers, to most times avoid shame she places her stomach at the least of her scale of preference, and call it am watching my weight, Nigeria is a terrible place and only few are lucky, OAU is a school of all types of people and it gives you insight of the sufferings of some students in the name of education while of course their peers bask in affluence, so if I picked up a struggling lady who is trying to survive, and I take her out to eat something on my tab, does that spell gold digging, if she had a rubber band phone and I could afford to help out, must that mean she a gold digger, don't get me wrong that many are gold diggers, but most times its an effect of poverty or Hardship, Hardship isn't good on a woman because it's harder to hide unlike Hardship in a man, I will not succumb though to a play girl who has taken gold digging as a profession. But to the normal ladies out there, I will take you out and treat u like a human being, give u Wat I can afford, have a great time hopefully by your Company and not make you feel I gave you the world cos I gave you lunch or a paltry gift. Nigeria isn't favourable for all of us except the few amongst us. AM SORRY. |
An sure sagamite is amongst, very silly cretin |
Please if you observe on this thread known monicker that aren't igbo or whose intention is to cause strife, let's mention such a person, but ignore him or her with no mention or response to give him or her any relevance, we Igbos may not be the best of people, but we a brothers and sisters and have rights to a discussion on issues bothering us, without interference from outsiders, thank you |
patrick89:I envisaged this thread to be better than this, I believe there are people with knowledge that will school us, it's normal that weeds will grow amongst the good seeds, please ignore distractions, give us ur opinion on this matter, based on your knowledge and experience. Thanks |
Curlieweed:you talk about hypocrisy and yet you aren't truthful, people walk into this thread and are grateful at how peaceful and cordial we are on our discussions, asides occasional use of curse words by you and some others in buttress of ur point, this is nairaland, the evidence is there of constant threats to the unity of Nigeria if the ipob isn't granted it's wish, every other tribes in Nigeria are regarded as animals since your motto determines that Nigeria is a Zoo, yet you talk of hypocrisy and say the ipob isn't an Intiative built of hate. Well it's very likely am too daft to understand ur analogy |
Duru1:you do not see a slight hatred and yet observe your statements and see the words you are using to describe a country of your birth and other people. Well apparently I might be too daft to get you. |
Duru1:that is actually Wat we discussing here, but unlike the ipob initiative, we don't want hate, we want to plan and strategies with reason and common sense. Do join in. I believe u have ideas that can help asides the hate |
Duru1:and oga maybe I should school you briefly, when something is not done in its entirety, in its pure form we call it's complete implementation as being true, meaning raw. We can't pick the part that pleases us and ignore some parts, because federalism is an already defined type of government, in its pure form with no modifications to suit the needs or selfishness of its doers, we say true federalism |
Duru1:ok Bro, it's ur opinion |
juicee1:the emergence of a region as a trade hub is very determinant in its development, lagos became a trade hub and business grew to support the trade, the Igbos were the major traders, even the northerners traded as well, the yorubas are good technocrats especially by their exploits in industry, a mixture of these factors as well as being fct, developed lagos, you are the one misunderstanding dat my statement means we built bridges or tarred roads, not at all, but our aversion for trade spurred the quick development of lagos as a commercial hub. Thanks |
tonychristopher:this is my reason for my hatred of Jonathan, though I don't blame him as he isn't igbo, but he is riverine , he should have developed our ports, he knows it's a deliberate attempt by the rest of Nigeria to undermine our development, he should have helped the people of SE and SS. By simply just the seaport and our lives won't remain the same. I agree our hands are tied, but we need to do something about it, plot to get a better man to a good position at federal level |
tonychristopher:yes that was achieved by imo, we need more, when you move around lagos don't you feel ashamed that we don't have a lagos in the south East and what pains me most even though the yorubas will never accept that, ndi igbo developed lagos, ndi igbo developed Abuja, but ala igbo is a forest filed with some magnificent buildings with no access roads, I want a lagos in SE, I want factories in SE, I want ndi igbo to start investing in SE, I want these investments to drive development, Nigeria doesn't care for us, we developed places we are resident and do business while ala igbo is undeveloped, I am not happy at all about that character of my people |
