I do not read any post that falls within paulgrundy's writing. So I dont know what he posted and I dont care to know.

Immediately I see his name, I scroll over, so I dont see even "is" in his writing.

Well I have already said what I know about him and why it is wrong. I also know he bears title. Making certain prophesies about who will and who will not rule, when true xtians have nothing to do with the world. You can read john 12:31
Well bro with respect to your grudge against paulgrundy i believe if we are brothers we need not bear grudges against one another...we many not agree but i trust the HolyGhost to unite us in mind and doctrine...

With respect to TBJ, i'd advice you, as Gamaliel did in Acts 5:34-39, thread softly with your words...if TBJ's ministry is fake it won't last and both him and his teachings would be forgotten but if he's of God then be careful with your words against him...you may be hurting the God that called him.

it seems to me you know it all.

I dunno how else to explain it to you.in luke 22 vs 54,peter denied jesus.wasn't he a born again christian? Wasn't he christlike? But he denied jesus and jesus forgave him.

Moses disobeyed God by striking the rock insted of speaking to it.wasn't he christlike? Wasn't he a born again? Moses even had a connection with God on the mount, they spoke to themselves physically.are you more of a born again than him

When jesus was departing to heaven he prayed to God to keep the disciple so that the enemy don't snatch them away from him.the enemy in these place can also be called sin because he knes it was possible.

Jesus was the only perfect, sinless man to work in these earth and no other person can do that.

David a man after God's own heart, christlike and one of the most loved of God fell into sin.are you any better than him.

Jesus is love and has come to pay the price of our redemption,he is more loving than you can ever imagine.the bible says,if you confess your sin and forsake them, jesus is always ready to take you back.please don't preach any other message
sis, pls no vex... i dnt knw everithn bt i'm challengin a view that i found untrue...if Mr A is Christlike and Mr A sins then Christ too may have sinned may be once...that's d conclusion that i found hard to take...

my view (n u may nt accept it) is that yu r nt bornagain until yur regenerated in the spirit and renewed in the soul...if your spirit is regenerated such that you are like Jesus, n yur soul is like Jesus' soul then u av al hs nature except the glorified flesh of Christ which we'l av wen we r raptured...then yu bcome reborn aftr the second Adam...but if your soul isn't renewed it cnt dwell in d glorified flesh n hence nt prepard 4 rapture...

Thanks for your humble question, and Happy New Year. i did not claim to know SO MUCH of him or his. i said that "i have a big problem with many of his practices and methods as they are not scriptural or biblical." There is NOTHING contradictory in that. i can see you ONCE and have a big problem with you and what you do. i don't have to see you a million times to make an assessment. For instance, if i met a girl for the first time today, and she tried to seduce me into immorality, that's a big problem for me. She doesn't need to do that several times before it becomes a big problem with me.
Now, i said the 'few' times i have seen him, notice FEW in quote. Why, because few is relative. i've known about TBJ for a looooooong time, but i've never had to settle down to watch him or whatever he usually does on TV. i have many other things to do than to sit and watch TV, especially if it is something superficial(which is what 99% of SCOAN's episodes used to be). SCOAN would always show deliverance, deliverance, deliverance upon deliverance sessions, or some charity work. You hardly see the man preach, at least not until recently. Even the preaching, it's usually about some predictions. i'm talking about what they usually aired on the usual TV stations.

No, love is not about taking, taking and taking. i never suggested that. i simply stated what a Bible passage said. And that is that one can give and yet lack love.
1Co 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the POOR, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing

Clearly, one can give to the POOR and have not charity. i don't think it gets any clearer. If 95% of so called men of God give like this, and have not charity, it profiteth them nothing. It is useless and of no good.
Ma bro, unless u jst wana argue! read my comment honestly:

1Co 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed
the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,
and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing

Meaning that giving for any reason other than love
is profitless and how do you give in love? it's giving
by grace and giving by grace is giving not as an
earning but as a gift... TBJ gives to people who
have little or no capacity to give back in
return...orphans, widows, muslims (strangers), the
disabled... if 95% of so called men of God give like
this we would no longer need GOVERNMENTS!
I explained giving without love...and giving with love... TBJ does that...

Let's make these clear. being born again is same thing as being a christian(christlike). 1 when you are born again, you are christlike.

Can a born again believer sin? Yes 2
Jesus said watch and pray so you fall not into temptation.if being born again mean you can't fall ino sin, jesus wouldn't have told his disciples to watch and pray.

In romans jesus said mortify(put to death) therefore your members which are upon the earth, fornication, lying evil speaking and the rest.these is because he knows if you don't consciously do these, you can fall back into sin.

The moment you get born again, jesus cleanses your sins away but you have to renew your mind daily by reading God's word and praying so you can stay saved.
your quotes 1 and 2 make me wana cry!

yu say a born again person has the nature of Christ, yet yu say a born again person can sin...so the nature of Christ has the capacity to sin? That conclusion breaks me down!!!

The answer is YES. This is the reason. As soon as you are regenerated like the thief at the right hand of our Lord, if you die you can enter the kingdom of God. But because you are not to die immediately you gave your life to Christ and you will still wander on the face the earth in your lustful flesh there is no way you will not by the way of lustful flesh desecrate your newly acquired spirit, hence you need to complete the circle of perfection to overcome. Hope this helps. Shalom
Let me reframe that question:

a. heaven
b. hell

I heard a sermon by Pastor Chris some time back, but i
cant transcribe everything i heard but the main part i
picked was when he talked about Born again christians
and sin - that it is not in the nature of a born again
christian to sin. Since he has put on the nature of
Christ, he is not a sinner, and even if he sins, he is still
not a sinner because he is born again. A cec member
confirmed it too. Really? Is that what the word of God
says?

I have always known that Christianity is a very
bad idea gone wrong. . . .what an interesting
thread!?! . A born twice Christian is not a sinner
even if he or she sins . don't you think you can
tell that to 1 year old child and give you a dirty
slap?.
Don't be deceived. . .we can't do without sin as
human being. anyone trying to avoid sin is
avoiding himself . Sinning isn't a crime or any
offense as it makes us feel alright and
comfortable . we should learn to be a sinner and
Sin with all boldness. . . .i hate it when
religious people are pretending and still we are
all in the same guter.

Bible reference....Exodus 12 vs 21.

Wherein promises would be fulfilled.

Going to the prophecies he said:

This year is going to be one of great revival

It is going to be a year of many questions but very few answers

There would be deliverance from afflictions nd bondage

To those who trust in occult....this is their year of monumental failure..

He said we should pray against violent storm

A year of harvest of babies

A year of wonders and mysteries

A year wherein strange hands shall compete for d flags and damage it....(to be forestall by prayer)

A year of deliverance for many, as the passover signified an halt to the israelites bondage.

Opposition against the righteous this year shall become powerless

A year for heavy angelic visitation.

A year when God will raise up women who are prophetic voices for d nation.

A year of earthquakes and famine....*we need to pray against this*

A tough year for political leaders who are not standing straight.

Traders shall be chased out of God's temple this year.

A year of marine madness.

Necessitate for this year 2015::

1). Diving presence.
2). Divine power.
3). Divine protection
4). Divine provision
5). Divine purpose.
6). Divine positioning nd Devine promotion.

In conclusion he emphasized the need for pleading of the blood of Jesus this year drawing a nexus with the Israelites passover.

Deliverance is one the stage you need to pass through to became mature in faith.
This stage involves breaking the covenant you willingly. or unwillingly entered into with devil. After being borne again of the spirit, you get a brand new spirit but you still retain the old mind and body which is subject to lust because of the covenant of sin with the devil. Hence, you need to break this covenant through deliverance. It can take form of restitution, casting out demons or mere renouncing of agreement, or getting rid of satanic property in your domain or stopping unholy practice. Hope this help. Shalom.

Being born again earns us salvation, as the scripture says, we should walk our salvation in trembling and fear, in this, we need sanctification.

But that doesn't mean he can't sin. He can, that's why he needs to avoid sin at all cost. He needs to hate sin and take delight in the will of the Almighty GOD.

As salt can loose it's savour, a born again soul can loose his salvation. Christ says He that endures till the end shalt be saved, Paul says he dies each day, keeping his body under subjection. And like the ten virgins, we ought walk in light and watch always, lest we dirt our garment and walk naked

Most nigerian christians need deliverance, firstly, from ingrained foolishness and rank stupidity.
And also from blithing ignorance.

Some of the cases treated as deliverance cases are not.

But people just dont know how to handle problems.

They foolishly class everythng as spiritual and hence requirng deliverance.

Many christians are also wrongly taught tht they cant get their prayers answered except it is through sombody else-their pastor etc. With this overdependency on pastors,an avenue for deception and milkng arises.
the pastor etc is only anointed to operate in his office.
He has no greater priviledge bf God than the lay member in the pew. But pew members are usually ignorant, they always see themselves as inferior before God

the Christian is supposed to be trained and equipped in the church to do the works of Christ, not stay dependent forever.

Christians should be healing the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead, getting people outta wheel chairs, growing in abundance not always running to some m.o.g for help or deliverance.
Any ministry tht encourages this sick dependency is fraudulent and not well run.

This is the best comment i'v ever seen here...with due respect to everyone. While deliverance is necessary it is not a license to be dependent on MOG no matter how anointed they are...and the ultimate purpose of deliverance is the salvation of the soul and not a lifestyle of lust and dependence on MOG!

no demon or devil can alter a human's will. People choose to yield to God or satan.
yes but they can influence your will by manipulating you and your environment...the first example is Eve Eve always saw that forbidden fruit but she never had the desire to disobey and eat enough to overcome her fear of God but after the conversation with Nakash 'the serpent' her soul knew lust and greed as seen Genesis 3:6 and she disobeyed

Moses would have got to the promiseland but he was lured into sin because he knew anger thanks to the satan inspired, stiff necked israelites...

The same goes for Solomon, David, Saul, Elijah, Elisha...the list is endless...

What are his teachings/doctrines? As a self appointed umpire, you should have some idea what his teachings are na. Bring up his teachings and we will consider them in the light of God's Word. Sorry to say this, but i do not listen to him and do not have time for such. However, the 'few' times i have seen him, 1 it has always being something superficial; some deliverance, or rice sharing or transformer giving, some prediction making. That seems to be about 95% of what i've seen TBJoshua doing. i've hardly seen him preach and the few times, it has still being very vague and superficial; nothing concrete or distinct. Any PROFESSING christian preacher would say the things he would say. Stuff close to motivational talk, God answers prayer, trust in God, focus on God, tell your neighbour Jesus is good. Some things close to that, these are all general.
i have a big problem with many of his practices and methods as they are not scriptural or biblical. 2 The thread is about doctrine/teaching, so please, let's know his doctrine/teaching. Someone said something about T B Joshua's doctrine of love. Well, let's not get it twisted. Love is not sharing rice and money BTW. The Bible itself says so. On the scale of 1 Corinthians 13;
1Co 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

According to this scripture, one can distribute a lot of money, rice, scholarships, and whatever else TBJ does and still not have charity/love. People tend to say TBJ is a good man/top christian because he televises giving. Giving alone does not make one a christian as good and COMMENDABLE as it is. In fact, it is not even a proof of love according to the scripture passage above. 3
Usually, for me, the clearest proof of a child of God is their fruits. In this case, as a pastor, their converts or church members. The SCOAN members i have met are not it at all, lemme leave it at that.
Charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. Charity doesn't advertise itself, it is not vain or puffed up, neither does it boast or brag. In that, TBJ's alleged charity scores low.
Charity doth not behave itself unseemly. A lot of unseemly stuff happens in the Synagogue deliverances. TBJ was one time a kind of specialist in making women clutch to their genitals, and some other not too fine things. Thank God for recent rebrandings sha, SCOAN has stepped up much, as it were. Of course you have video evidence, but it can be supplied in case you require. What more should one say, about the recent tragedy that happened in one of the Synagogue hostels and how SCOAN, TBJ and members handled it. The doctrine of love doesn't score high in my humble opinion.
Your humble opinion in comments 1 and 2 are contradictory. How come you heard TBJ only a few times and consider listening to him a waste of time but yet you know so much of his PRACTICES AND METHODS to have problems with them? ...just a humble question!

On the comment 3, is love about taking, taking and taking? That verse:

1Co 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing

Meaning that giving for any reason other than love is profitless and how do you give in love? it's giving by grace and giving by grace is giving not as an earning but as a gift... TBJ gives to people who have little or no capacity to give back in return...orphans, widows, muslims (strangers), the disabled... if 95% of so called men of God give like this we would no longer need GOVERNMENTS!

We read:

[ESV] Acts 4:33 And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.

[ESV] Acts 4:34 There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold

[ESV] Acts 4:35 and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.

[ESV] Acts 4:36 Thus Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus,

[ESV] Acts 4:37 sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.

What is tenth there?

What led to the contribution in the first place, where they given the tenth of there monthly income there?
Bro don't be in a haste to criticize for criticizing sake...the issue that led to my comment was not on the quantity of what was given but on whether what was given was given in the public or not

...whoever oppresses you has the power to do that against your will. Unlike persecution where you surrender yourself to self denial to the glory of God, oppression is against the will of the oppressed...Paul surrendered himself to be beaten and that's persecution:

2Corinthians 11:25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

but when he was oppressed he showed that it was against his will and he prayed thrice seeking deliverance. Possession and oppression both have one thing in common at least and that's that both signify the INFLUENCE OF DARK POWERS against a person and against his will

Unless a man be born-again, he cannot SEE the kingdom of God. The reason for the new birth is not for us to enter heaven and shout narrow escape that we no enter hell. No. Why didn't jesus preach Heaven to Nicodemus? Because this present Heaven that believers are running to will pass away and suffereth decay. It will wax old and God cannot give that as inheritance to the people He love. Infact He wants to burn it. so. The reason for the new birth(being born-again) is for SIGHT. Something was given to everyone on that day. What was given was sight, not just regeneration of dead spirit. So that you can Seeeeee. Because spirits(evil) don't want you to seee. The day you begin to seeee is deliverance. That's the benefit of the first birth.

The 2nd birth(being born of WATER and SPIR
IT) is the second step. God is like saying after the new birth, there is still one more "borning" my people: the WATER and the SPIRIT. Sight is not enough for you, I want you to be a partaker of what you saw. So unless you are born this way, you cannot ENTER because narrow is the way. You have to be as volatile as water and spirit. Because right from the days of John the Baptist, the Kingdom of God suffers violence....and the violence takes it by force. Don't think it is talking about going to heaven but entering the Kingdom. You cannot ENTER without the second birth. Do you want to enter the Kingdom that even angels are not permitted to be an heir? Then be a partaker of the 2nd birth. Another thing have to happen because it is from glory to glory; the soul must be birth again like the spirit for it to be fit to be a partaker. Ur spirit is CHRIST and ur soul have to become one two, so also ur body. Meditate on psalm 23- the issue of oil running over. When the soul becomes that which I mentioned it will touch the body and true will the saying be immortality has swallowed up mortality . I once sang a song here before the e-tsunami:

You have to be born twice says the Spirit
You have to be born twice says Him who has risen from the dead
There is no entrance without being born twice
There is no entrance without the twice birth
You have to be born and be born.

So saving the soul is not escaping hell, you can travel to heaven and still look earthly. Salvation continues in heaven. Do you want to see a prototype of someone who is saved? Take a look at Yahweh, take a look Jesus and the Holy ghost. No one is as saved as God. Salvation is becoming like the Father. When angels will look at you, they will say, "this man has been soo saved" That's salvation. But a man who didn't achieve it will weep in heaven because he had the chance but treated it with disdain.

A Born again is a Christain,a Christain is a Born again. A Born again does not have pleasure in sin and thus cannot sin. The concept is deep dan u understand bro. To those who keep the Faith it means smthng to those who are backsliding it means another. Which are u referring to? Have in mind "You are born again once and for all"

Read the Original greek text. And besides u r quoting me wrong, i did not say "A born again has the capacity to sin" what i do say is "He may sin" Now Let me ask u, from the day u give ur life to Christ u never made a single mistake?
My bro i'm still working on my soul and i cannot say i'm born again yet...that word born again is a great, misused and abused word...people sin because they have the capacity to sin ,a fish does not struggle to swin because it's its nature but no matter how skilled a monkey is it can never rival a fish unless it dies as a monkey and resurrects as a fish and that requires a spiritual, soulish and bodily rebirth ...that monkey becomes born again!
