Romance › Re: I Don’t Love Her by efficiencie(m): 1:17am On Dec 28, 2017
narutop:
Op this is the same reason why I decided to remain single.
I have done this to 3 girls, the last one wont let me rest , always begging everyday on phone.

I had to take a break and think of what my problem is, I just couldnt continue that way.
It appears I don't want any commitment.
Now after a long break (2 yrs plus) im ready to date anyone that will lead to marriage but I think I'm being over careful and it really making me become too selective.

I pray God help me, because the truth of the matter is , true love does not exist or let me put it this way , love diminishes over time.
So if it is love you are looking for, I hope you find it but make sure the one u find loves you more than you love her.

Concerning your girl, if you don't intend marrying her, leave her alone. You owe her nothing. Girls even do worse to guys without remorse, so u don't owe her anything. But support her the best way u can since u know her situation.
No be curse oh, you can never find love and you will always find people like the first three girls you dated...your case is mathematical and you have established a strong precedence already! Whatever rules your psyche determines what you are drawn to and what you are drawn to determines the outcomes of your life...whatever made you lose interest in the case of the past three ladies is still resident in your psyche and it will make you lose interest in 100,000 ladies that come your way no matter how great these ladies are!

Reality advises you to stay away from marriage...heed reality but if you choose to disobey na DIVORCE50 you dey take play!

I've been there on several occasion. Have dated people out of pity or move from helping out to an unplanned relationship.

First of all, stop sex and anything amorous with her and see her love for you go down a bit. Reduce her frequent visit to your house and pretend to cheat a little. If she suspects, apologise. When she thinks you cheat, she will start giving room to other guys and who knows you may be free at the end.
Please don't just push her out, she may commit suicide.
Mehn, you must be special adviser to satan on strategic matters ...kudos!

Dear poster I must say that satan dey learn for wia yu dey! In summary, you used her without her consent and now you want to move on after making a good girl stand by you based on a totally false impression created by you...my advice is simple! Choose between paying a horrible price and marrying a good girl who does not satisfy your lust. Dump her and damn the inevitable consequence of meeting your future crush who will do this exact same evil to you seven fold or marry this lady that has been by you all this while, learn to love her and be content with her!

The voices telling you to move on will be the same voices that will commiserate with you when gavel of Justice slams against you!

A lot of problems with this new year resolution. The bro in question may not have given money's worth amounting to at least 15000 naira but he may have done a lot in kind. How will such deeds be monetized and scaled against the 15000 benchmark...in addition before establishing a benchmark on deeds of kindness and love, first place a benchmark on personality. Some ladies are not worth 1000 naira per month and ladies in this category will also want to implement the 15000 naira rule!

Most funded PhD programmes especially industry-funded doctorate provides research topics for prospective PhD students.
Research topics or research themes? Industry funded doctorate degrees seek a select set of persons whose line of research are thematically related to their research interests. However what can we say about researchers who have developed interest and might have developed background knowledge of a specific area in his discipline with the hope to doing original research at the PhD level but gets to meet a supervisor who suggests another topic without considering the originality and significance of the researcher's proposed topic thus skewing the researcher off its path.

I have a first degree in Marketing with CGPA of 3.17, done my M.sc in Business Administration, though results not officially compiled yet but from all indications I will come with a CGPA of 3.80. My Question is "can I say I comfortably stand the chance of getting admitted to study for PhD without going through Mphil if i want to continue in my field? The intention is to become an university don.
Universities that raise their standards usually do so because of the demand they get! Bayero university kano offers a 3yr phd for a 3.50 and above cgpa in your masters. Investigate and decide!

The topic is Hopelessness, Social economic status, quality of life and family dysfunction as predictor of graduates depression
Too many independent variables, too many objectives...your statement of problem will be a troubling exercise and your analysis will involve a lot of categorical regressors making interpretation tedious...pick one of the predictor variables and make life easy for yourself!

Who says there are no under-20s whose maturity of thought, sense of purpose and outlook on life vastly outstrips those of people in their 40s and 50s? Our world is a huge example. We have leaders of nations who are not younger than 50 years of age and they have steered their nations to utter disaster! Parents ought to invest in building great minds in their early 20s who are ready to take on the responsibilities of life honorably and not nitwits who learn from experience after leaving a trail of stinky garbage in their past...

I would like to join your conversation with hiddenshadow and observant. I agree with you that selfishness, self aggrandisement and greed is the bane of the black man and the Igbos exhibit the worst examples of these traits.

The igbos look for who to blame for their failures and blame everybody else and everything else but themselves. If the igbos possess inate greatness in them as propagated by hiddenshadow and observant, why didn't the igbos make great civilizations in the past? Why didn't the igbos make technological, artistic social or literary contributions to the world before the advent of the Europeans?
Biafra would have been a political disaster. why? Because no Igbo man is ready to subsume his interest for another. Ojukwu would never have sacrificed his political ambitions for any other, he would have been the mugabe of Biafra. Same with the present agitations for Biafra, it was all about Kanu, and Kanu would never sacrifice his political ambitions for the Biafrans goal.

If Biafra has potential to be great, we would have seen evidence of that from the way the present Biafra (Igbo states) are run, from state levels to local government levels. The Igbo states and local governments exhibit the same levels of greed, self interest and wickedness as other states. The total money the five Igbo states receive from the federal government ( both state and local government allocations ) is enough to run a country successfully. I am sure many countrystudents like Gabon, Benin Republic, Togo, Chad, etc do not receive the kinds of money these state receive and yet they are able to run the countries and build infrastructures.

Only a bad workman quarrels with his tools, the Igbo states governors can make use of the Nigerian laws to build critical infrastructures. Nothing stops the governments from applying for licences and investing in the mineral and oil resources sector either alone or with foreign partners if they are interested. Nothing stops the state governments from building bridges and roads and tolling it to recuperate their investments. Nothing stops the state governments from building refineries, power stations or any other critical infrastructure if there are ready to selfishnessly work for the betterment of their people.
You promptly hit the nail on the head...this is the problem with the black race! Majority of them tend not to see beyond their selfish desires...

Guy do you know where the word capitalism came from? Self interest is a universal trait, systems are created to check it's excesses.
Well the Asians knew where the word capitalism came from and realized how deadly it could be for welfare and overall development...so they thought it wise to build an economic system that extracts the benefits of capitalism while entrenching the tenets of nationalism. No wonder the Asians are so smart...they do not copy like the idiots of Africa that lift western models hook, line and sinker! The Asians made Capitalism (the child of individualism and self interest) a slave of Nationalism and look at them today...a beggar about 40 years ago is now a lender to nations...

You are brainless to compare the financial strength of Lagos which has monopoly over importation & was a former capital with SE states whose ports the FG has refused to open up.
Bro, I mean no offense and if you are offended by my remarks I apologize for that...my point is, humans everywhere are capable of doing the IMPOSSIBLE if only SELF INTEREST, though in existence, is made a slave to COLLECTIVE INTEREST! All perfectly functioning social systems are anchored on each participant or actor being driven PRIMARILY by the INTERESTS of the SYSTEM and not SELF INTEREST.

In an age of archaic technology people gathered to make a name for themselves and attempted to build a structure that would reach the sky. Their oneness was so strong and their resolve so resolute that even GOD felt challenged (Genesis 11;1-6)...I admire the abilities of the Igbo man, just as I do any Nigerian, but I still say that if the Igbos can make COLLECTIVE INTEREST rule over SELF INTEREST there is nothing they cannot achieve...

I believe the Igbos can be a world power if only they can kill SELF INTEREST and ENTHRONE COLLECTIVE INTEREST...

Sorry to inform you.

The laws of Nigeria forbids states tapping their resources including coal.

Have you heard of exclusive list meant for only the Federal Government
Where was the federal government when Fashola was fixing federal roads and making major infrastructural development strides in Lagos? So the federal government has exclusive rights of control over the brains of the Biafrans? Oh so the federal government has the exclusive rights over your ability to mobilize the youths to sanitize the states, curb crime at the community level, build community infrastructure and come up with innovative ideas to move Biafra forward...I laugh grin grin grin !

The Biafrans and the Nizoorians are no different...they have one central trait in common handed down from their forefathers which is: THE DEIFICATION OF SELF INTEREST

You still have not answered my question!

Is there any Igbo man on this planet that will not betray the entire human race for $1 million

You are wrong and Horsepower101 is right for the following reasons.

All those things you mentioned, will there be built using words or cash.

If cash, who controls the resources in Biafra land.?

So in the end, the FG is a major impediment to the resources that can build such society we desire.

The only options left are:

to establish Biafra's Research & Development Society that will fast track the Development, Industrialization & Commercialization of marketable agricultural & technological products.

or

Restore the independence of the Biafrans.
I laugh again at your reasoning. Enugu has coal, wasting away like every other resource! What have you guys done with it. Biafra is waiting for the federal government to tap it and make a fortune out of it. Whereas South Africa supplies over 40000 MW of electricity from coal. Phillip Emeagwali has a Nobel prize in super computing but it seems we only know of the contributions of Wole Soyinka...

You Biafrans are the problem of Biafra. A child cannot break off from the influence of the powerful only an empowered adult can! Shouting and yelling Biafra or death will not make the federal government back-off...If Biafran economic, intellectual and political elite come together and plan the growth and development of Biafra with the human and material resources at your disposal the federal government will be forced to come to the negotiating table...

The father of a betrothed girl cannot ask for a worthy bride price if the girl in question is a cheap LovePeddler...if Biafra becomes a political, economic and social might today its words would be few and its decisions respected...I say again THE DEIFICATION OF SELF INTEREST is the key problem of Igbos as it was the problem of the Jews (your brothers) in the wilderness of Kadesh Barnea!

I ask again, is there an Igbo man anywhere on this planet that will not betray the entire Igbo race for $1 million dollars?

Me personally I don't know about other Africans but I know that igbos in particular if given a nation of their own will develop rapidly like Japan and Korea did. They have the potential to do that but unfortunately they are surrounded by people that want them to fail and remain subjugated.
grin grin grin ...your reasoning shows that you are bereft of the development path of the Asians! Do you think on a good day the US, EU and Russia will sit down and watch China rise to become a world power strong enough to pose a technological, economic, social and diplomatic threat to these advanced nations. Guy, power is not given to anyone...power is taken and the Chinese rose from obscurity to seize international political, economic and social domination by sheer SELFLESSNESS!

If the Biafrans had the stuff of greatness in them, by now their rich elite would have rallied the human and non-human resources towards making their nation great irrespective of the assistance or distractions from the federal government. Will the federal government stop you from making roads? Will the federal government stop you guys from building formidable tertiary institutions? Will the federal government stop you guys from building strong alliances with advanced nations? Will the federal government stop you from pursuing socio-economic development? The answer to these questions is NO! What actually stops Biafra from being the Biafra that can formidably demand for secession from Nigeria is the same thing that plagues Africa as a whole and it is THE DEIFICATION OF SELF INTEREST.

Is there an Igbo man anywhere on this planet that will not betray the entire Igbo race for $1 million dollars?

The exaltation, adulation, devotion, immortalization, beautification, deification and domination of Self interest is the only problem of the Africans... Take Nigeria for instance; Self interest was the reason for the slave trade, the reason for the West riot, the reason for the Aba women riots, the reason for the first military coup, the reason for the successive coups, the reason for the first civilian war, the reason for the monumental and dumdfounding levels of corruption today, the reason for the death of tertiary education, the reason for the teeming mass of the unemployed despite the growing number of jobs, the reason for BSc graduates taking up routine jobs that SSCE holders can effectively handle, the reason MSc holders are applying for NPOWER...
