Good day everyone,
I need some answers and clarification(s).

a) One of the dependant visa (Dependant Partner) has the full lenght of stay on the vignette whereas that of the children is 90 days? I think it is an error that needs to be corrected. I have sent paid mail but yet to get a response. Calls keeps dropping.

My other question has been answered. I need to know what to do about the "valid till" thingy. Please anyone.

If there's an error, and you are still at tls, who do you contact

What is one expected to receive during collection

In case of an error, inform the officials right there before you leave. They will tell you what to do.

If you submitted your passport during your appointment, then you should get your passport and the decision/brp letter

Good day everyone,
I need some answers and clarification(s).

a) One of the dependant visa (Dependant Partner) has the full lenght of stay on the vignette as against the 90 days vignette and I think this is an error that needs to be corrected. Am I right? Or is it an exception for dependant partner?

From Saturday morning that I discovered till now, I have searched the web, nairaland inclusive (maybe I need to search more) but the vignette validity is silent on dependant and I saw that it is 90 days for the Student - stating that it was previously 30 days.

b) If it is an error that needs to be corrected, then sending the passport back will be inevitable right?

c) During my search on nairaland, I came across a response on the previous thread stating that correction takes about 15 working days. Is there any added service (E.g priority) to have it fixed on time?

d) Lastly, has anyone received the missing decision letter by email?

I really want to appreciate everyone who takes out time to inform, clarify and respond to people on this platform. Personally, I do not take it for granted.

For those going for collection this week, please take your time to check your vignette well. This has been emphasised here a lot.
I actually checked ours thoroughly (or so I thought) - name, DOB, work permit, etc and only discovered the missing decision letter for one of the dependants. I reported this immediately and was given the UKVI contact slip which I'm yet to get a definite reply to my query. I was told at the collection point that it may be sent via email.

It was when I got home that I saw that of the validity.

Please what is UK quarantine policy for those fully vaccinated outside the UK? Do they have to do the day 2 and day 8 test? Do they have to quarantine for the 10 days?

I read here that you have to except if you were vaccinated by NHS.

July 30th Standard Application, Ikeja TLS
Application for all 3 dependants have been moved to VAC after sending paid mail on Monday.

You can track yours to check.

It will all end in praise. Amen.

The Alpha and Omega of ALL THINGS has done It!

Family of 3 - Dependants (1 partner, 2 children; Main applicant already in UK about 4 months ago)
Type : Standard Ikeja TLS for all
Biometrics: 30th July
Sent Paid mail: Monday 23rd August
Collection Mail 25th July (didn't see it until 26th because I have over checked, over refreshed the page and tirec)
Collected for all: July 27th

No travel history for all
No non-straight forward mail
No interview
* * * * * * *
I had a lot of worries but I took them all to God in prayer.

We all crosschecked the applications throughly, but didn't see that a letter was missing in of the children's name until the day of biometrics - today, I checked and saw that it has been corrected to what is on the passport without writing a cover note or sending a mail in that regard.
During the biometrics, I stammered while calling my name and DOB. I was worried because I've read about people being called and asked their names, etc.

I want to appreciate everyone who takes out time to answer question on this platform, not forgetting Dubaiprince who shared how the other partner in UK was able to sign the consent letter.

Thank you all.

All glory to God.

I've been reading this thread religiously everyday for the past couple of months and the information has been invaluable. But I noticed most people submit priority whereas I had filled my form for Standard submission. I haven't seen too many Standard Visa Submission Alerts so I wanted to give some encouragement to other cheapitos like me who didn't pay for Priority Visas and are wondering if they made the wrong gamble and if there's enough time.

Visa Alert!!!!!!

Visa Application (Standard): Don't really remember. Sometime early in July. I submitted but got delayed by waiting for TB test appointment date (that's another long story)
Biometric Date (V/I via appointment booked in early July): July 23rd 2021
Collection Email: August 9th 2021
Collection Date: August 10th 2021

I can't say thank you enough to the people on this platform who give so much time, energy and vulnerability to sharing such vital info and experiences with strangers. Even though I never posted or asked any questions myself, the questions and answers and shared experiences really helped me. I would have been clueless about the TB Test process and would still be waiting for a date to show up on the platform.

Good luck to everyone still in the process and still waiting. May God give you favour and may all your efforts work out for good!

I been dey reason am o, say e be like say nobody dey do standard again o. Thanks for the encouragement.
Congratulations and Amen to your prayers.

Good evening fam! This is a long read, here’s my testimony

 Visa Alert
Jeremiah 32:27” I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”

Family of 2:
Center Vi standard application
Application submitted online,: 11 June 2021
Biometrics: 16 June 2021
Visa received and picked up , 2July 2021

2 uk visit refusal
1 France study refusal

*Our Testimony*

I got my CAS in May, for July Resumption But we couldn’t apply for visa because dependent did not have passport and TB and we couldn’t apply separately because of POF but God showed up for us at the right time !

1) Tried booking for appointment since May but IOM had issues, So we sent series of emails until God showed up and we got scheduled for June 8! Emphasizing that we must present valid ID which we didn’t have but We thanked God for scheduling us at last!

2)Applied for passport since December 2020, God showed up, and passport came out June 7 Just at the right time before TB test!
(It took my dearest UAR 7 months to issue us passport! )

3)wanted to buy dollars so we can pay for visa fee and IHS , that’s how aboki duped us of some naira happened like film trick ( long story short , God showed up! It was sorted!

4) I fell terribly sick got admitted in the hospital, few days before biometrics but God showed up and I was discharged and attended my appointment the next day .

5) planned on doing walk in for dependent, got there the TLS site had issues, so I had to do my appointment first and God showed up ! After I was done the site came back on and dependent did biometrics

6)Just when we thought that the struggle was over ! When I had fully recovered and awaiting collection mail, I went over the documents We submitted and realized that We printed wrong dates for Statements(agents advice didn’t follow the rule) , I read online and saw it wud be an automatic refusal! I was so devastated, troubled and anxious! I turned to a prayer warrior, I sang and praised God and reminded Him of his faithfulness and His wonders in His word! And God showed up for us o, I don’t know how he did it but we got our visas

God is indeed God! There’s nothing too difficult for him to do!
See you guys in Uk!

Glory to God.
We all shall testify that God is too Faithful to fail!

**cost effective

I appreciate your prompt reply. I will go with the first option as well.

There are two ways. Either sign electronically and send to your partner to print out and sign or you print out, sign and send to your partner via courier.

In my own case I went with the first option. That is the more efficient and cost effective option too.

Spouse visa is better for you and you will still study without paying international tuition fees. You can study part time and work full time.

In a situation whereby the Spouse in the UK is on a tier 4 VISA, should it still be a spouse visa or a tier 4 VISA.
