nwizu042: Picked a rider(girl) from eleganza gardens this evening and we chatted all through the trip. She stopped by chicken republic to get food. Then proceeded to chevron to get Arizona (drugs). We got to her destination (A hotel in osapa London) . called her client and guy man said he went to get dinner from chicken republic and is already on his way back... 5 minutes later, 2 guys pass stroll pass our car with takeaway packs and branded nylons and were kinda peeping and looking confused. They both went inside while we waited at the car park. She calls him again and this time the number is switched off. Our next conversations goes thus:
Rider: which kin wahala be this an.. How will you bring me here and then stand me up. Me:try the number again. Rider: tries number but switched off. Me: babe what do we do. Rider: I don't know oo. This guy was supposed to pay the fare. Me: ahh. 5 minutes later. Rider: end the trip and send me your account number. Me: account number ke. (I know I am not leaving without this money... Its a taxify trip.) Babe, I need to go oo. Rider: start calling different guys but they all come up with excuses. Me: already tired of the whole nonsense and need to meet up my daily target. Rider: finally a guy responds , we are going to christ avenue. Lekki phase one. Me: oshe ...
We get to christ avenue and a guy comes to us. I get paid and she leaves. Got a call 5 minutes later that she forgot her drugs in my car.. Am like ahhh. See me see wahala. Turns back to return her drugs. She thanks me for doing that and I get tipped by the guy... *end of story* This year, no transfer story. I must see alert before you leave. If you like be on suit and tie. I no send you. Taxify riders don spoil finish.. nice one bro. Imagine all the guys she has to call to save her face. No be girl you carry o,na |

Trsrrs: Please house I want to ask if anyone here still using 2000-2001 toyota corolla for uber only of course.. How is it still going, is it still possible to use on uber and riders don't complain. I want to use it bcoz I don't have enough money to get a newer car. So can I use it to make some money to upgrade later.. Plz house I need an honest, experienced Reply We have an in-house person who drives it. Just make sure it's in pristine order inside out. Chilling a/c, sound shocks, exotic smelling air fresheners, good sound system, you looking 'immaculate' ,in the words of chillex8. Your mien and disposition should be sweet and courtesous. With these ,most riders won't see a 2001 corolla, but a good ride.best of luck.you can post pics ,so gurus in the house will advice you on what to do to grey areas.best of luck bro cc shollywendy. |

BillGoldberg: Brothers... Lets call a spade, a spade This business is looing bad now. The forecast is not funny at all. Made only 5k since morning as at the time am posting this. It was not like this before. Lets forget all this January excuse up and down. And let nobody call any driver lazy! Drivers are looking for trips but none is coming. Even me that usually don't go to Ikorodu... If you see the way I jump into Ikorodu today after waiting over an hour fpr trip eh?
Seems people are now jumping bus again or trekking. Weldone bros. If my memory serves me well, most of you were warned during the december harvest to save for January so you can afford sanitary pads when your period shows. Most of you are now experiencing heavy flow,no pad to soak it. Well, since I've not been registered on both platforms yet, I use my ride to hustle passenger at different stops along the way to my office and back, and trust me the fare is fair. Enough for fuel feeding, and .................. only gazzuzz can fill in the gaps |

Chuwaa: I have a guy living outside Lagos whose goal is to buy and put 4 vehicles on Uber this year. I've been trying to dissuade him to no avail. See how 8.8m is about to go down. He's looking for fleet managers. How do I stop this impending disaster bikonu? he's minding his business, that means you know what to do.what if it turns out right for him? The negative energy you peeps are spewing on this thread is very appalling. Has the December blues faded already? You complain ,yet in the business. let everyone that's interested cast their lines, whether e go catch fish or not,is left to God. As for me,all this complaints just makes me defiant the more.I'm coming onboard the business very soon,Insha Allah. I will not be dissuaded. Instead, tell your friend to test the waters, one car at a time . |

taxiappguy: Who is IDOOH? IDOOH is the largest Out-of-home (OOH) provider in Pacific Asia. We are in 6 countries and 2 continents, with Nigeria being the company's pioneer country in Africa. As Asia Pacific’s largest in-vehicle screen network, IDOOH has an inventory of 14,000 screens spanning across diverse platforms including ride-sharing cars and taxis. IDOOH screens have clocked 100 million kilometres of drive time and 3.6 million hours of video content.
What are the requirements?
You must be a full time Uber/Taxify Driver You must have completed at least 150 trips in each of the last 3 months Wema bank account
What do I get paid? You can get paid in 2 ways. On one hand Idooh NG runs a point-based payout system called Passive earning. Passive earning pays out up to 10,000* Naira guaranteed per month to every qualifying driver. Passive earning is good because you are not doing any extra effort to earn the money, just do your normal trips and you still get paid at the end of the month.
Points are calculated based on how many trips you did + how many hours the screen was seen.
The points are graded from 1-100.
The lowest you can score and still be eligible to be paid passive income is 60, the highest is 100.
The point you score is used to determine the percentage of passive earnings you earn that month.
Scoring 100 points means you get 100% incentives Scoring 60 points means you get 60% incentives Similarly, scoring 80 means 80%. And so on
The other way to earn money with IDOOH NG is a referral fee for introducing new customers who want to advertise to the company. You earn 5%* lifetime income as long as both you and your referral use our services.
Both require very little extra effort.
I have attached a screenshot to explain Passive income better. *minus fees I saw this car at eruwen, ikorodu.we're you the one driving it? |
