Nassarawa state governor Al-makura’s Son’s Alleged N1.5B Wedding In U.S could provide jobs for youths
Imagine .........for these reason we should all be focused and fight unemployment since the money is there to create jobs

Note that the meeting must kick off these week, whatever it will cost I know God would provide and I pray for a massive turn out

But not withstanding even if its only 10 members present the kicking off meeting must be held....so our brothers in other part Nigeria can see its not a joke and we stand for all and for one
Please this is a special calling to all those in lagos, its outskirt,Abokuta, sango ota, ibadan, oyo, ife and its environs should try against all odds to attend the meeting...thanks

RedBenson: Ehix, good work u've done so far. But i didnt see debate abt mission and vission statement of the group in ur list there.

Will this group also be opened to OND/NCE holders?

Shld participants also come along with thier individuals drafted mission/vision/constitution copies?
Its opened to any acedemic degree holder those that studied home or abroad
And the mission and vision statement have been drafted already but still opened to amendments, additions and subtractions

cdoffx: Ehixking please let me know if someone is already working on the association website cos i sent you an email requesting for article content the site will have since you're the brain behind everything but i didn't get any response from you.
About the name i support the suggestion of National Graduate Movement against Unemployment.
Since the major locations being debated are Lagos and Ibadan is it not possible the meeting takes place in the two city simultaneously. I think that would even send out a strong message of solidarity everywhere.
Call me, please...07030717445

Yinkaolu: Great initiatives always start small. kudos to all that had contributed immensely to this thread. the new name suggested
NGMAU is better so that employed peeps can be part. I am so sure that unemployed ones today are CEOs tomorrow. my coming in is so late but with all my might I am in
TBS will be good though I reside in Ibadan
Know how we will go about getting media and government support
My humble contribution
Olayinka Ibadan
@olayinka where do u stay in ibadan!!!pls give me a call

Please special shout out to all those in ibadan please give me a call (so we know how to mobilize for our trip to lagos if its gonna hold there)
CareerRe: National Association Of Unemployed Graduates(NAUG) by ehixking(op): 2:54am On Aug 24, 2013
Incrizz: There are also unemployed graduates who have BB.

Just in case anyone is wondering, this bbm group I am talking about, is solely dedicated to EhixKing, okayhuh

I used to clamor for no name change, but these two names suggested by two comrades, make a lot of sense and I totally support any of them as a name change since the name will carry all Nigerian graduates along:

NIGERIAN GRADUATES' MOVEMENT AGAINST UNEMPLOYMENT (NGMAU)

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN GRADUATES AGAINST UNEMPLOYMENT (NANGAU)
Pls Uncle Ehis reconsider.

Then, I hear of Tv and interview things; that is my specialty. Uncle Ehis if you need a public representative who can effectively communicate the aims of NAUG/NGMAU/NANGAU on Tv to all Nigerians & politicians, I shall represent. But if there are other volunteers already, I gladly relinquish my desire.

Concerning the venue for the first meeting hm! If you don't understand by now that to get the attention of the whole Nigeria, Lagos is it hm! You may have miscalculated.

One last thing, this pressure group is for Nigeria graduates against unemployment and not an associaton for market women and crayfish sellers or unemployed individuals who did not go to school.

Eku ise oooo...
Thanks for this great write up
Your request would be greatly considered
CareerRe: National Association Of Unemployed Graduates(NAUG) by ehixking(op): 2:46am On Aug 24, 2013
If you guys have a venue for the meeting to be held in Lagos just let us know please.......and note that a lot of people too have indicated interest from Abeokuta
(Yes!! Kudos to those repping big from Abeokuta, kogi, abuja, lagos and ibadan, PH and enugu...we need those from the north too to join in the struggle)
CareerRe: National Association Of Unemployed Graduates(NAUG) by ehixking(op): 3:35pm On Aug 23, 2013
Thanks peeps for the massive turn out
But its quit unfortunate our brothers in the north haven't really been participating( just wondering if the graduates their are all employed)

Only those in the north central has been responding
(Kogi,benue,abuja) non from katsina,kano,kaduna,jigawa,nassarawa etc
Where are you guys its a one nigeria struggle not just for others

Please we need you all to respond please

And still on the issue of where to hold the first meeting next week, since I stay in ibadan and since its a cool and peaceful place and I have somewhere in mind we could hold the meeting...I suggest Ibadan

But if most people still wants Lagos that means there must be arrangement for venue!
Once there is venue it can be held no problems
CareerRe: National Association Of Unemployed Graduates(NAUG) by ehixking(op): 5:56am On Aug 23, 2013
Kazrem: I guess the flagship meeting should be in Lagos. After that, we will have meeting at the six geo-political zone of the country. The venue in Lagos should also be easily accecible. @ehix, i sent you a mail and you have not replied. kazeemabolore@gmail.com
So sorry...I would try and do that shortly

National Association Of
Unemployed Graduates(NAUG) .pls I will asked the house to make some resarch
Hello everyone , I saw it coming but am not moved at all,I'm the mastermind of it all and av been receiving several calls and ideas that are selfish and of evil deeds and thougt and I have just tried to be diplomatic about it cos getting these dreams come to past has been my aim. Please let's us all come together and fight these scorge..
I pray God will lead us through
Our lawyers are working already
The face book group has been created
And several other things have been going on underground so this whole movement is not gonna be a pipedream...
Let's us all come together as one
Once we Are divided I bet no one would hear our plea

Don't U all forget like I once posted that this association or movement is a melting pot of tribes and races-religion or background
Let's us all let love be the hinges that would all turn us to our desires and wishes

In4matic: This is a wonderful initiative.
severally i have thought about it and i also wish to ask my entrepreneurial advocates. if we citizens of a sovereign state and yet provide basic amenities for ourselves and are also to provide jobs for ourselves and fund it ourselves what then is the roles of the state. to supervise and ensure all the ants in the hive work hard?
we are mostly struggling in the name of being self employed and i ask them.is the choice of going solo not a function of having options. give people options and let them gather their own funds, experience and means to launch into the murky business waters. there are too many businesses collapsing in Nigeria to justify the enterpreneurship song people are singing. count me in
You are one the best..
Cheers!!!!

Let's all be focused and hence, those that can't make this movement a reality should either ignore or post nothing and stop posting adverts for jobs that they don't even have here!!!
Music/RadioRe: Mode9 Cries Out On Neglect Of His ‘type Of Rap’ by ehixking(m): 4:47am On Aug 21, 2013
crisycent: I remember the first time i heard "Lagos State of Mind" on radio, i parked my car, rushed to the nearest music shop to buy his album. It was something really new in Nigeria, i loved the song so much it was on repeat for a couple of days. Although mode9 stole or copied a lot of lyrics from NaS and Fat Joe on that album, it was still good.
Point of correction!!!
In hiphop there is something called" sampling"
That were u are allwoed to use someones vocals but
Bitting is when u steal someones lyrics word for word without quoting or even using the sample of d persons voice

Modenine didn't steal Nas or anybody on pentium IX he only sampled...get it

kinnad: Sorry i've not been around for some time now.I'm so much impressed at the turnup, the last time i counted,we were six,but i can't even count anymore. I've taken my time to read through to the last page, kudos to you all.Thats the spirit. Now i think we've got to start.

However,Mr King, please something has to be done about this name.It is true that the name gets people's attention, but thats only at the first instant. The second time you take a look at it,it becomes deregatory.

Like i said earlier,it should nt be only for the unemployed, else it becomes selfish, since you will cease to be a member when you gain an employment.Do u also know that the name sounds like you're proud to call yourself "unemployed",and it therefore sounds like a joke. Please think about it,and see from other people's point of view.

It would make more sense if we call it "NIGERIAN GRADUATES' MOVEMENT AGAINST UNEMPLOYMENT".You can still refine the name if you wish but please drop the former.

I need some sleep now.I will be back during the day for exchange of ideas.
Thanks a million...your comment would be considered
Cheers

On behalf of NAUG I hereby plead and request from seun osewa and all the crew of Nairaland to help make these "REALITY BECOME NOT A DREAM"
