This case is status barred. Additionally parties are responsible for elections within the confinement of the constitution and Electoral laws and in the presence of the INEC. Both APC and PDP fulfilled the electoral condition. Also, how would you prove vote buying? Finally, what is your involvement in PDP primary? Did you take part in it. I am not campaigning for APC and neither for PDP. The deeper will reflect on this situation the more ascerbity we will have religiously! My concern is on presidency not VP SW ......Obasanjo 8 years. The North gave him to us.........North West ..Yardua 3 years. SS ..Good luck 6 years. The North believed their 8 years was still intact because of Yaradua death. NW ....Buhari 8 years. Now 2023 should we go back to the North again? From my above breakdown it is pellucid that it is the turn of the South again based on North and South political stratification. Whose turn in the South? SE ! They deserve it because they are parts of Nigeria. Is the region ready? NO! What determines readiness? With due respect to the Igbo Kingdom, the 1966 civil war visage is still in the mind of many Northerners. Imidiately after the war a lot if changes were effected in the Nigerian systems to prevent the recurrence and favour the North at large. What is the attitude of the North to IPOB and other SE movements? The North still prefers the use of SE as the VP not as the president. What SE cannot achieve through Biafra and IPOB with other movements cannot be achieved through a free and fair election with the north as a major stakeholder. What should the SE do to attain the presidency? There must be a synergy among the SE SS and SW. The bond will be sold to the North.If the North is convinced of the protection of their interests in the hand of the SE the SE presidency will be a reality. This must have informed the declaration of Atiku that OBI canniot rule in Nigeria now! Since SE presidency is bleak why not SW option? The SW has an option to make in 2023: Follow BAT or go back to the North with dire and grave consequences! The former must be a right and just cause for them.By 2031 it will return to the North and NE,NC and NW can now decide the region to produce it. I am a Christian too but I cannot use religious sentiments to perpetuate the Nothern rule for another 8years!

. The North has given us the slot of presidency.By us I mean southerners. What they want is to select a VP from a majority Muslim. It is a give and take. If South West has been given the presidency we do well to satify them too by picking a majority Muslim as a VP. BAT believes this is the only step that can make him win.We should support him. I understand Dogara feelings.He is from a minority christiqn in the north. Tinubu should not take the risk. We christiqns in the South West can still be appealed to but the Northern Muslims will never listen if their demands are not met.

ADELEKE CONSTITUTES TRANSITION COMMITTEE

The Governor-Elect of Osun State, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke has constituted a 37-member Transition Committee to facilitate a smooth transition between the incumbent and the newly elected administration in the state.

A statement issued by the Media office of the Governor-elect disclosed that the Transition Committee is made up of seasoned technocrats, present and former public office holders and experts from a diverse field of endeavour including the Academics, Finance, Law, Engineering, Labour, Local Government administration and the Media.

The Committee is to be Chaired by a Doctor of Nuclear Medicine and a Fellow of the Euro Institute of Reticulo-endothelial Biology & Medicare, Dr Muyiwa Oladimeji while the Director-General of Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation Hon. Sunday Bisi will serve as Deputy Chairman.

The Secretary of the Transition committee is a serving member of the House of Representatives who is also a legal practitioner, Representative Bamidele Salam and will be assisted by a Project management expert, Sir Adekunle Adepoju.

The Transition Committee will be inaugurated by the Governor-elect on Thursday.

I am not a politician but I do follow Nigerian politics. To be honest,I foresaw APC Muslim-Muslim ticket long before it was announced by the party if the party wants to win the election. The primary aim of any serious party is to win an election. To cut short my argument, the northerners had made a sacrifice by conceding the Presidency to the southerners and the southerners too must be ready to make a sacrifice by allowing the Vice Presidential candidate of the party to be a Muslim. Anything short of this will spell doom for the party. Normally, as a Christian, I would have preferred a Muslim-Christian ticket but in reality, it will be an effort in futility. The SouthernYoruba Christians can still be managed and appealed to but not the northern Muslims.We should not forget that the Southerner Christians are already divided-the Igbo's and the Yorubas.On a normal day the Igbo's will vote for Peter Obi and one would expect the Yoruba Christians to vote for Tinubu(Omo wa ni).The north will then be the ultimate decider,your guess is as good as mine.It is a case of you win some you loose some.
