You are in a full time employment. Why do you want to complicate your application by declaring that you are also a student when you did not mentioned this in your last application. I will advise that you remove this aspect or any document relating to your M.Sc study. Concentrate on addressing the issue raised by the ECO which has to do with unexplained inflow into your bank account.

We are obligated to do 6months industrial Training(Internship) second semester starting from may.

Due to the fact that my mum stays in UK and my brother is doing his masters there, I want to do my internship in uk, since accommodation or welfare might not be a problem.

But now, the problems I have now is i don't know how to go about it.

Please can anyone just give me a good advice.

My brother is ready to write me an invitation letter, but I still need to know the necessary steps required so as to guarantee my chances of doing my internship there.

If you have a resident permit for France. Then apply for a UK visit visa from France. All the information you need is on UKVI website.

I have now entered my details on the TLScontact site, thereby adding my wife as someone traveling with me under my reference number.....do I need to do the same for her? Putting my details on her page....pls advise

Within TLS website there is a link to book a group appointment. This allows you to add the details for your wife by providing her application reference number. This will link the two applications for a single appointment.

How can I explain lil inflow like 10k that was sent by friends to get stuffs. I really don't know how to explain all the credits eg15k, 9k 19k etc... Pleaee advise

Go ahead and provide the email and chats correspondences about the job engagement and payments. This will justified the inflows and your sources of additional income. The ECO will be happy to see these emails and it will rule out small small money lodgement.

I was refused visa in January 2018 for lack of evidence of credits in my account.

Intend to reapply with the following
1. My dad's death cert. (New)
2. MOU of how we sold the property and I got 2.5m from his property (New)
3. 6 mouths ( Sept - March) of salary of 260k ( Intended date of travel: 2nd Jun 2018)
4. Employment letter, leave letter, remuneration review letter, introduction letter (all from my employer).
5. 2 land property docs ( Deed)
6. Uncle's British passport, drivers license, workplace ID ( Different surname )
7. Letter from PGD Coordinator stating I am a MSc student and i intend traveling after my first semester exams in May. (NEW)
8. My car documents if necessary
9. Tax Certificate
10. Any suggested documents
*** How can I show evidence of money received by company's I consult for.. e.g.. payment for website maintenance, website development, etc

**** money sent to my account by friends to buy IT stuff for them...


In total I have about 21 credits apart from my salary.
But from January 2018 i stopped using my Salary account such transactions, hope this wont be a problem again.

I need your advice please.

The ECO noticed that you only declared one source of income your salary in your application form, but your bank statement shows unexplained inflow which was not explained. If you have additional sources of income declare it in the application form and provide document to support it which you have listed. You can reapply and address the issue pointed out by the ECO.

The waiting time for first time applicant for UK visa is 15 working days. However, many have waited for months to get a decision. My advise is that it will be practically impossible to get a decision within days of applying as even dates for submission of documents are not easy to book. Priority should only be used in case of emergency or urgent business or medical related travel. If your reason does not fall into these categories, you application will be process as normal even though pay for priority. You can use you business account, if you are the sole owner and director after all it’s your money. If not, you will need the consent of other directors to use the bank account be it for a business or pleasure trip.

3. Photocopy of the ID.

My issue is, aside 1. above, I dont have any valid ID at the moment, Only ID i have is the passport which is with them.

Can i go there n explain or must i get any other ID at all cost??

You don’t need to. Since the passport is yours and you have the submission slip. That’s all you need. ID cards are those collecting on behalf of the applicant.

Yes being able to explain your budget breakdown in the cover letter shows that you have done your homework.

I don’t think it matters who the letter is addressed to. You can used either of above.

Based on what @ekpotek mentioned about the cash my father sent being treated as money lodgement,I can print my account statement to end on 3rd March as the money was paid on 4th March. So it won’t reflect on the statement. ?? I’ll be submitting my application in 2days.

The bank statement printed without the reflection of the extra cash is okay as the statement is still current and valid for March submission.

Okay. If you are interested in ireland, it could be a little tricky if you have been refused UK visa in the past. But you can try and pray toward it. First the application is completed online at the INIS website. Your partner must be living in Ireland on willing to move to Ireland with you. You will need the following documents to submit with your application at VAC centre at Lekki:

1. Marriage certificate
2. Wedding photos
3. Cover letter from your partner
4. Cover letter from you
5. Copy of British partner passport showing data page
6. Coloured copy of your passport (all pages)
7. Completed Questionnaire
8. Passport photo (2)

The application is free, but you will be required to pay service charge of about N24000. You can PM me for more details.

Is your wife the mother of your daughter? If yes, you do not need a consent letter! What is needed is documents to show that your wife is the mother of your daughter via birth certificate.

My husband is my sponsor. But I had a cash gift from my father and it reflects in my account. He stated in a letter that he is not my sponsor for the trip however he has given me some money in the unlikely case of any extra expenses to support me.
I explained in my cover letter I stopped working shortly before delivery of my baby to be able to care for her and myself properly. I attached my previous employment letter.

You do not need to complicate issue. I am sure the ECO will not be bothered about your dad letter as you are an adult. If I were you, I will not have permitted this payment as it is uncessary and can cast doubt on the ability of your husband to sponsor your trip adequately in the eye of the ECO. The ECO will definitely treat this extra cash as fund lodgement in spite of your dad letter. Beside are you traveling with your baby? If not, you will need to include in your cover letter, any arrangement for the baby care in your absent.

Your expenses is okay. You should be more worried about explaining to ECO why you are unemployed, why should your father be your sponsor, when your husband can easily sponsor you.

As a company owner..would the embassy see it as money lodgment if you pay yourself 3 months salary(Dec,Jan and Feb) together in same day...starting each payment with “salary for Dec” “salary for Jan”

I’m asking so as not to fall into the category of money lodgement refusal...

Although it is not unusual for employees to be owed up to 3 months salaries by companies in Nigeria. However, outstanding salaries are paid enblock not by 3 times in a day as proposed by you. This will raise suspicion by any eagle eyed ECO. Just transferred the money you need for your trip from your company account to your personal bank account and use a cover note to explain this transfer to the ECO any why. After all you own the company and there is documents to proof this.

I printed out my bank statement on the 1st of March and submitted my online application on the same day, however, the earliest appointment date for biometrics and submission, I could get was 9th march.

Should I print out another bank statement or is an 8 day old one okay?

Unless there is any strategic advantage with a new statement such as new in flow or outflow to support your application. Otherwise it is not necessary. Remember signed bank statement are not free.

Hello House, please I'm applying to the UK embassy and I'm not sure under what sub category my purpose of trip falls on. I'm a Lawyer and masters student abroad and I'm writing my thesis this semester. So I've been able to secure a lawfirm in the UK that invited me to come for research in relation to my thesis topic which is in line with the firm's area of practise. My university has also given me a letter to take to the embassy in this regard. I'm not sure which sub category this masters research falls under, I initially felt it was business academic but I'm also not qualified for that category. Your visa category is the standard visitor visa, since you will not be paid by the law firm. There will ample opportunities in the application form to explain your reasons for seeking entry into the UK.

Do you have a valid visit visa. If yes, then you have nothing to worry. Just provide the address of your boyfriend on the land card. In case you’re asked what you business in UK? Just be honest and tell them you are visiting your boyfriend in Liverpool who invited you. Have in hand a copy of the invite and his telephone number. Since you’re a frequent traveler to the UK, I don’t envisage any problem at POE.

You can use which ever account your want. So far the money is assessible to you. So a personal account is okay for a personal trip.

Yes you have to fill another application form online with your new passport. Your previous application submitted online will automatically be delete by the system after 30 days as you did not submit your supporting document at VAC.
