PHIPEX: By committing federal resources to Quranic schools, the President has taken a dangerous step that could entangle the government in a messy constitutional, political and bureaucratic quagmire.... When recently, he inaugurated a special school for almajiris in Sokoto, he took two wrong steps. First, he dabbled directly in primary school education, a function reserved for the states and local governments. Second, he stepped into a constitutional trap since the basic law expressly forbids the government from promoting any religious faith. Why hasn't anyone taken the FG and GEJ to court for this? |
They can do it, yes. But at the cost of their own destruction.. |
lol |
So uh...I don't understand the point of crowing that you were right, Ola One. Is this supposed to make you happy or something? Heh |
lmao ![]() |
Beware of outsiders who praise foolish statements like this ![]() How can any sensible man applaud Fasoranti's words. smh This is why I say that some issues are probably best discussed privately among ourselves rather than publicly |
jmaine, not sold bro.. |
Alright, forum created. Respond to your friend request if I sent you one. |
Indeed. I'm setting up the forum as we speak. Once it is set up, I'll send out the invites. |
I suppose Fstranger should be included, annoying as that dude is. He means well, but is just misguided.. |
Actually I'll "friend" you guys, then see about setting up some sort of forum where actual pro-Yoruba folk here on NL can talk about these issues privately. |
Actually, if Seun had private, invitation only subforums on this site, that would be very useful. Hrm.. |
Actually you know what. It is a free world. Talk about whatever you want bro...who am I to tell you what to do? Just realize that his own motivations differ from yours. What maximizes his interest is not what maximizes yours, necessarily. So it isn't necessarily worth paying too much attention to what they say.. |
If you want to talk about the economic impact on Lagos...hell, maybe I should start up a private forum for some of us to discuss those things. If you want to talk about some of those strategies I mentioned...again, private forum. But this surely is not the thread for Yoruba folk to be talking about that type of stuff... |
It is like the Chicago Bulls discussing strategy with the Miami Heat. Makes no sense...some stuff has to be internal and not for public consumption. Public discussion where our mutual interest ALIGNS, private discussion where it doesn't. Simple. Mutual interest aligns so far as seeing Nigeria divided. Beyond that.. |
I made a comment earlier to shymmex...some things are for discussion PRIVATELY, outside of NL. Others are for public consumption. If there was a private Yorubaland forum or whatever, then yes, it makes sense to discuss the merits/demerits, impact on Lagos, etc of the country splitting up. But how can you be discussing strategy with folks who aren't on the same team as you? It makes no sense. What is the point of a Yoruba man discussing Lagos with someone like Beaf? I honestly don't get it. We aren't on the same side.. |
It is even better for external folk to think that Lagos will collapse after Nigeria divides, lol (so long as internal folk understand that it won't.) |
Aigbofa. My brother. Why are you trying to convince him? What is the point? We have to make our own predictions as best as possible. But assuming that you've done a good job of that, then there is no real reason to care what an external party predicts/says. Let us mind our business. He should mind his. |
What we should be talking about is working towards this goal of seeing Nigeria end. That is a helluva lot more interesting than this stuff.. |
This discussion serves no purpose. When Nigeria splits apart, everyone will do what they need to do. No point chatting/speculating about it here, is there? |
A nigger that people avoid like he has the plague is now receiving text messages from NLers. What did they tell you...stop being such a jackass, 'tard, and loser? |
Lmao. Text messages from NLers. "Please strangerf, please desist!" Is that a text message you got from a NLer, or a woman who drunkenly gave you her number and doesn't want you to contact her any more? ![]() Story, story...tell us another story Ijebu Zaccheus. Text message from NLer, indeed. So it was they who cautioned you to stop? ![]() Holding yourself back? Lmao. Why do you always like hiding behind others? Seriously...you really are a pathetic little dude. |
I never mentioned ethnic cleansing. I know that you are not the sharpest tool in the shed. But unless you are also lazy in addition to your stupidity, you can reread what you misread. |
Dollars to donuts, you are a small and emaciated man. Ijebu zaccheus was what you were called before, lmao. Probably some 5'8, 5'9 skinny and frail fellow making threats through the internet. Heh. The convenience of anonymity, I suppose. If you do want to make good on your threat though, I am not very difficult to find. Hehe. I will then find out if you can back up what you say. I strongly suspect that you are a puzzy nigger, though. |
strangerf: Do you even have a mirror at home?Hold on a sec. Does this mean that you don't find me attractive? ![]() Unfortunate...you'll have to be content with the men currently in your life. Alas.. ![]() |
You? Beat brainlessness out of someone? Ooh, internet tough guy ![]() Lmao I'm scared sh1tless of you. Going to go hold my pillow now. A guy like you probably getting his @zz kicked up and down the street even up to age 20? Well, as they say, talk on the internet is cheap. Btw those beatings you suffered from your mates as a child...is that what made you dull? Or were you dull even prior to them? |
So it was not just general dullness and lack of curiosity as a child? You remind me of some kids I knew growing up...folks who despite their families having lived in Maryland since the 1700s didn't know sh1t about it or its history. People like you and them are kind of fascinating, in a grotesque sort of way |
You actually raise a good point about Niger. That country could split up too if the Tuareg make a push there. Really, Sokoto State and many of those states should never have even been in the same country as us. Too bad they weren't colonized by the french instead...they'd have been in Niger ![]() |
Seriously though. Why do you know so little about your home state? Like, you grew up in Nigeria. Did you simply not much pay attention to things around you as a kid? Why do I (a guy who didn't even grow up in Nigeria) know more about at least a certain part of your home state than you do? It honestly cracks me up.. |
Yeah. I'm in socal right now with Aregbe. We are watching Ilesha right now ![]() Dumbazz |
I have never said anything about ethnic cleansing. Just because you are too stvpid to understand my posts doesn't give you license to misinterpret them. As I said, there are several strategies one can use that are purely clean. Anyway, enough on this topic...back to Afenifere. |
