Gbam! The Bears don finally discover Wapic for where e hide since. See you soon @0.50 kobo, if not 0.01 kobo. |
I Smh for those that are blaming Myjoy08 for their failures. He has always included DD in his stock picks and if you actually did your DD, you shouldn't blame him because you too didn't see it coming. Common sense should tell you that you can't blame anybody during a bearish season, especially one that has a correlation with current happenings around the world or country. The World stock indexes are diving, Oil price is falling and Nigeria being Africa’s largest producer of oil is finding it difficult to defend its currency amid election uncertainties for that matter and some people are blaming one man in NSEMPA for a steep fall in stock prices. Na wa sha... Please if you did your DD as advised, blame yourself. If you did not do your DD and fell hook, line and sinker for any prophecy, prediction or stock pick and still come out here to say rubbish, you should be ashamed of yourself. If I were you, I would go to third mainland bridge and jump. Once again, Welcome to 2008 saga! ![]() |

obiak4:It's usually a day (Wednesday) before the indicated date. Some of the dates are maturity dates. |
4dchairman:Since you are tempted to exit your position, who is now the "we" that will regain believe for the market to rebound? Fear and emotional trading is normal in a situation like this. What is currently happening is not a new thing and there is absolutely nothing we can do because the percentage of local investors that participate in the NSE is low. Where will the confidence come from? Our reliance on foreign investors in the NSE still hold true and until confidence is reinstated in the market, local investors will continue to keep the distance. So until after elections, the uncertainties will remain. The only thing we should worry about is the final destination of the bears so as not to be in the market just in case we are about to experience another 2008 saga because this was exactly how it happened in 2007/2008. |
obiak4:The next auction is tomorrow 5th Nov. 2014 |

Charlesnerd:Gbam! Adding real estate will blend everything and make it a complete investment portfolio. |
REDDEVILS1:You may bid via your bank and state your bid rate in an instruction letter to your bank at least a day before the auction date. However, I won't advice newbies to go through this channel as they may lose out easily. You may consider going through a bank that sells to you from their successful bid (e.g First bank). They are good at it and are most likely to be successful with their bid. This way, you are almost guaranteed a successful purchase but you must accept the interest rate that they give to you. In most cases however, the rate you get won't be far from CBN's stop rate. Plus, you get an option to rollover your investment and worry less about subsequent auctions. If you however decide to bid via your bank and eventually lose out, you may consider buying from the secondary market instead of waiting for the next auction. You cannot know the exact rate as it is determined by an auction (held fortnightly) in which the final decision lies with the CBN. |

UNLEASHED:It was not sarcasm. @Carpenter actually meant well and gave you a good advice. |
passwelle:Remember it was an IPO where you can't even sell without dematerialising your share certificate let alone using stop loss. |

...The index has shown a strong bearish momentum in the last trading month. Evidently, the downtrend is expected to continue in the new trading month with 37,108.30 basis point key support to watch. A breach in this support level would drive the index more downward. On the other hand a breach above significant resistance 39,152.10 basis point would bring optimism in the stock market. Conclusion: The Nigerian Equity market remains not attractive as the bearish momentum is expected to continue in the nearest future Long term: Bearish Medium term: Bearish Short term: Bearish Read full analysis here http://trendonomicsng.com/bears-become-dominant-nigerian-stock-market
