ItGeek: Next support for Oando is 20.00, where are those waiting at N 20.00 bustop, sharpen your cutlass.
Joysmart: Trust me they've already moved down to 15 naira junction.
We are still here waiting. However, I don't think Oando will get to that N20 junction. So we will change our bus stop but even when it reaches the bus stop, I will only buy when I think the time is right.

mercylicious: Do u think morgan will meet the increase in capital base as planned by SEC?
What happens to us if they dont meet up?
N300 million should be a small amount of money for Morgan. Those that are not able to meet up will have to consider mergers, acquisitions or go out of business.

Dumexoga: People like you are not supposed to be here at all. You open your mouth to say things you dont know. Even if there is anything like that, will there be any reason to panic? Na wa oooo, i pity the people wey dey listen to you oooo. Its just that people have short memories. Similar thing happened few months ago, and there was nothing people like you didnt say about this market. Please hold your opinion to yourself and leave the stock market. You can sell now and bury your money in your bedroom. Nonsense
grin grin grin Dumex baba, abeg take am easy bros. Since you are not the panicking type of investor, why do you worry yourself over people´s negative view of a particular stock or the market as a whole? What if they are right? Let them have their opinions and let their followers decide. For me, I don´t panic and I hate to regret my actions because no one is perfect. Whatever we post here in NL or SMN has little or no effect on the market prices of stocks.

Aks: Oando is falling hand big time but i'll still hang on. I won't sell @ a loss
You are right. Selling at a loss may not be a good idea. The shareholders must smile again. The Oxygen boys may be smart but some investors will definitely benefit from their evil plans. One has to keep careful watch.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Elai147: 1:48pm On Sep 16, 2014
Born2berich: The stock has refused to enter green for sometime now hence all man for himself.
From what I´m seeing, Oando shareholders should brace themselves for a one-month tedious ride before they can smile again.

Born2berich: I just pray that WT and his oxygen boys will not send some people to the hospital soon.

Current market price as at now: N24.20
Some people are already in the hospital because of WT. The current bear is not the only cause of recent absenteeism of some members of this thread.

Before investing in Nigerian stocks, person go need to do due diligence on the country first before doing due diligence on the market (NSE) and finally on the stocks in the market grin

Most banks would have to pay lesser dividends in order to conserve cash.

DUNKA: Please any particular reason for Total?
I am assuming the main reason for your long term view on both stocks is good and steady dividend. TOTAL has a better dividend history, higher eps, lower price-to-book value (mrq). It also has a better dividend yield and dividend growth over previous years. Be sure of getting interim dividend from TOTAL each year.

Note: I have TOTAL in my portfolio. Do your due diligence.

kokobaba: One good thing about the stock is the consistency paying dividend. Even when it had a significant short fall in profit in a particular year declaring a pAT of 1.3 billion, it still paid a dividend of 5k. Some companies wouldn't have paid a dime. Diamond bank paid dividend twice in 5 years.
That's very true. Skyebank is a good stock for long term.

Agbalowomeri: If u were heavy on skye, immediately data started to come in with nose-diving growth, then u should have started to exit because it has nowhereelse to go other than down
kokobaba: I agree with u because for the past 15 months it has not attained a price of N5
I think skyebank may have bottomed out. I was expecting it to do this around N2.60. What do you think?

UkwuAmu: Do not hold more than 3 stocks at a time . it makes no sense . do you know what it means for you to gain 10 kobo if you hold 10 million units of a share ? just imagine that same stock gains 1 Naira? I will still say be patient.
My honourable chair, this one wey we see u today mean say market go bullish today. U no tell us what it means to lose 10 kobo on 10 million units of the same stock grin. For me, if one must hold a maximum of 3 stocks in a portfolio then it must not be a speculative stock.

dsonofmaan: oga Born2berich, if someone unfamiliar with this thread sees all your posts, they'll think you don't own shares in Oando o
Born2berich: Because i have a stock does not stop me from issuing warning when i see danger. Me i no be monkey hunter but myself. smiley
I find it difficult to understand why some people overreact whenever you post a negative news about a stock they own. This set of investors will NEVER post any negative news that may help others refrain from imminent investment mistakes.
