gabscity: My Oga stop pulling legs na, pls what was the high/close price of DANGSUGA today?N9.11/N9.11. The stock dey dance awilo lately. It will soon rebound @ support |
Yem0350: They are improving their CS. A friend of mine who is a client sent a mail and he got a reply within 45mins. Let us give them more time, things will turn better.I know they will definitely improve on it. If Morgan can match the level of CS offered by Meristem or anywhere close, I will have less to do with Meristem. I have an account with Morgan and I am patiently waiting for confirmation before I take my next step. |
gabscity: IMO, MC customer sevice is doing well. They even respond to my queries on phone at COB. They respond to emails fast as far as I am concern, they av bought for me, more than once, lower than my quoted priceSotey Morgan Capital don get acronym. I had to google 'MC customer service' before I know say na Morgan capital oga gabcity dey talk about. ![]() |
4dchairman: The itrade has system requirements: Chibuking81: morgan customer care department is now 95% effective as the respond and solve any problem facing their customer without waste of time. Only that they need to enable their customer login to their online trading page through handset, not untill one uses computer. The world is going mobile. Stockbroking firms need to have their websites enabled for mobile trading or develop an app that provides investors with online or real-time trading. One of the greatest frustrations I had with Morgan iTrade is the inability to use it perfectly with my iPad. You can't confine investors to their computers simply because they want to trade. How many people in Naija will buy a laptop because of trading? They will need to depend on public computers to trade and eventually make their trading account vulnerable to the kind of cyber attacks we recently experienced in NL. |
coldFLARES1: Laff Wan Kee Me here. Small pikin neva start bizness, e say profit too much. If u no get access to the CEO on Whatsapp like Yem0350, you are on your own abeg make una no use laf kill person here o. |
4dchairman: Make dem open account first, when you call them they will not confirm your identity ,response will always be "the person to attend to you is not on seat" during trading hours ( stock trading is my hubby but during the hours of 10:15-14:30 I'm always on seat) and to add salt to injury, they will promise to get back to you (that one na final discharge). But the awooof fee and real time trading na in make me stay. It is well. |
bigx: Mine go be 2weeks this weekendTwo weeks is too much o... Even when you want to retain your old CHN, it shouldn't take up to two week. Did you do a follow up on it to make sure your email was received with all the required documents attached? You should also check your spam / junk folder. |
natruetalk: still don't understand what u pple mean by this bad customer care. i sent 2 messages on different day to morgan last week and received instant reply. a friend sent message to them on Saturday and received reply that same day saturday 4 dat matter.Open trading account first and den u go understand . A non customer will never experience bad customer service. |
Born2beRich1: Meristem/ meritrade should drop their brokerage fees a little to lure more customers because right now i am thinking of opening an account with Morgan but that will be much later. myjoy08: My opinion, being a trader i will choose Morgan Capital ahead of Meristem due to their brokerage fees and real time technology. Sometimes Meristem has many issues that went unnoticed but very common. So brokerage fees(and other miscellaneous fees including commission) should not be more than 1-1.2%. As i stated, just my own opinion not a recommendation.Meristem is not ready to reduce their brokerage fees at all. By the time you add other fees to their 1.35%, the total fee on a single transaction (buy or sell) does not look too good. Anyone that is not comfortable with their transaction fee should port. Morgan's 0.25% makes a lot of sense. The only major problem I think they have is with their customer service which can definitely be improved. As for me, I do not have any problem with broker's transaction fees. All I need from a broker is reliability. |
4dchairman: Meristem rating : [customer service :8. Information technology :3,fees:5,future prospect:7,real time ability-5]total rating-5.6. Morgan capital-[customer service-3,information technology-6,future prospect-6,real time ability-7,fees-9] total rating-6.2. Unfortunately Morgan capital got the highest rating because of fees and real time online trading, but I have serious reservation about their future prospects, the guys in the customer service are just way off and I'm likely to miss trading today. you give Morgan 9 for fees? Until dem charge 0.00% before u go give dem 10/10. Seriously they need to do something about the iTrade and customer service. I do not think the problem with the iTrade is 100% from NSE. I also don't think the problem with their customer service has 100% to do with the guys in that department. I think the customer base is more than the available manpower. Any attempt to try and balance the available manpower to customer base will be done at great expense. The money that will be used to keep this alive will definitely not be coming from their 0.25% transaction fee. Very soon Morgan will have no choice than to discourage new customers in order to halt the current crisis. |
Scientist Predicts 60% Market Collapse I Just stumbled upon this recent prediction and thought I should share... I know most of us hate to read this kind of news but I think it will do us good if we keep investors abreast of situations like this and let them apply diligence. In recent times we've heard financial experts- some of whom correctly predicted past stock market crashes- predicting another major crash. This post is not meant to cause any panic but to make us stay abreast of the recent rumours. Remember the saying 'never trust a consensus'. Due diligence as usual... Back to Netherlands Vs. Yem0350: Lol. Anyway, I also make use of meristem. 48% of my stock is with dem. I don't really have problem with morgan customer care because I contact the ceo directly if I have any problem even on whatsappVery soon this CEO head go full and eventually crash because of loads of undone work by employees wey him dey try to do by force. When dat time go reach Morgan will have no choice than to create an iRobot to attend to customers need. Increasing no. of customers + slow motion customer service = Gobe Solution = iTrade + iRobot, otherwise = increase in transaction fees. Note: I have recently opened an account with Morgan. #waiting for iMeritrade to launch. ![]() |

Born2beRich1: Am surprised that many people are just noticing FO despite my several announcement about the stock more than a week ago..this is a stock that doesnt make so much noise to rally upwards and the management is good. bigass: I think I will exit TRANSCORP to enter Forte Oyel Una sofly sofly o... |
Forte oil is a likely deal, I feel ppl misunderstood d over priced news and sold, so d price dropd, I see it getting to 250 in few weeks time
N300 in a month's time. |
nitrogen:A good junction to wait will be near N6 except if govt don repair the bad spot for dat junction. If this is the case, then the next good junction na for N8. |
Ess: Chai see as cash dey do me yawa.We rebuke the bold for Transcorp IJN. |
Dragonking: Correct..@uboma, no allow hanging on the bus too as we dont want to carry any overload that will burst the bus tyresBut let's not be stingy. Abeg allow some people to enter @N7 or N8 junction and then lock the bus permanently until further notice. |

Chibuking81: Pls how many days, does it take one to open an account with Morgan security and to start trading with them online?.If you have all the requirements it should take less than a week. |

evilspirit: The spirit knows your intentions. Bros abeg no vex. I remain loyal. |
Tbill rates are really getting lower and uninteresting. #StockMarketThings |
ikemefunam: please ,first bank twice refunded my money as failed tb,and my effort for them to issue tb to me via primary source failed, anybody with such issue with firstbank?Kinda strange. FBN has never refunded my money due to failed bid. I guess they were quite unlucky with their bid this time. You should ask them to get you Tbill from the secondary market. If they can't, try another bank instead of waiting till next auction date (with a lower interest rate, perhaps). |
dsonofmaan: It lost N2.08, not N7.I know its previous close was N200.08 but the guy opened today's trading @N205 and closed at N198 meaning it lost N7 (today). Oando lost N1.24 from today's trading. |
