Chibuking81: Pls I want somebody to advice me on what to do. I updated my account with SUS stockbrokers last week, the account that I open with them since 2006, my last transaction with them was 2009 till last week, and in the 2009 statement of my account I have little balance in my account. Just last week, I decided to sale off my Transcorp with the instruction that the money should be pay to my bank account, and it was sold last week thursday, I called them yesterday and I was told to expect my money on wednesday, JUST THIS MORNING, THEY CALLED ME THAT MY ACCOUNT IS IN DEBT OF #34,000. I don't beleive that my account is in debt, pls what shall I do.
I am assuming you don't have online access to your trading account with SUS stockbrokers. It's not a good idea to use a stockbroking firm without an online platform. For me, it's more like trading with your eyes closed. Just request for your in-house statement from your broker as advised by Ucheson2 and you should be able to know what actually led to the negative balance in your account. I hope you have another stockbroker with online platform, if not, try and register with one.

feelamong: This Elliots waves theory has some of its own problems too..

"The 1st major problem is that you cannot really recognize an Elliot Wave until it has already passed. So how can you make any forecasts or make trades based on it? After all, the Elliot Wave is simply a series of movements with the trend followed by retracements. The only thing that seems to be unique about it is that the retracement of Wave B is less than the 5th subwave. Otherwise, the Elliot Wave would just be a series of up and down movements, which is easily observable in stock charts or prices, but doesn't help in forecasting prices or directions."

"Elliot was, however, more specific about his Waves, but whether the wave satisfies the necessary criteria to be an Elliot Wave can only be determined after the wave has already passed. For instance, Elliot said that impulse waves 1, 3, and 5 are impulse waves, and that Wave 5 retraces at least 70% of Wave 4. But then what if Wave 5 doesn't retrace at least 70% of Wave 4? And needless to say, you can't know this until Wave 5 has already passed."
You must be able to anticipate the pattern to be able to profit from it. Depending on your risk appetite you can enter at wave 3. Waiting until the pattern is complete will be useless. The average investors will usually key in at wave 5 when the pattern would have become more apparent. Even at wave 5 you can still make profit.

Moneysage: @Oga Elai: Here it is...marketwatch.ng noni. I may be wrong, but one can see a full E-wave on the right half of the chart (circa 20 March as base). Pls, correct me duely...I learn daily and humbly.
Thanks my oga. You are absolutely right. The last time I checked, NSEASI was at wave 5 which is the last wave of the E-wave pattern. This is what I actually wanted to see on the chart but it doesn't seem clear to me from this chart. I think the last wave should be completed by now and that's probably why we are currently witnessing the bears.

Can someone post an up-to-date NSEASI candlestick chart. Thanks.

Aks: If you own this stock, i will advise you dump it and re-enter @ a later date. To my Oando gurus, we are gradually entering Eldoradoooooooooooooooo; As for Transcorp, i've long dumped mine for N5.78 to enter Oando full force (Result is good but the price has alreadt been factored in, i don't see it getting to N6.30), Good luck to Transcorptariansssssssss. @Dexter - E b like say fuel dey dry up on WAPIC, make hay while the sun shine
Our Wapic should do a reversal tomorrow. The next few trading days for Transcorp may be bloody. I see it forming a new consolidation zone around the #6. I wish all Transcorpians safe journey and a greenish week.

Chibuking81: if they did not seal the deal on or before monday, Oando will still move further south, but once the completion of the deal take place, Oando will tremendously move toward north. I am already inside the bus, but thinking of offloading some unit, at current price only to enter later. If I can sale at #25 and enter back at #20, I know the risk involve that once the completion announcement of Cop deal take place, the price will move up, but if I enter immediately I will still gain. It is all about business.
Just ensure you re-enter @#20 and you are good to go.

stokfrick: its a pity. corruption has ruined everything in this country. later they will say that local investor participation in the stock market is low. is this how they encourage local investors through their lack of transparency? yet they will give out info to som people tru the back door. its really discouraging. little wonder people have lost interest in nigerian stock market.
That is why we should trade in the NSE with UTMOST care. If you cannot trust a country then you don't have to trust her stock exchange. I only pity those that go for STRICTLY long term and then go to sleep. They will wake up one day to discover a Magic portfolio.

nitrogen: If it is #10 junction, I don divide myself into two, one at #10 junction and the other at #20. No time cool
Abeg make una erase #10 junction comot for una junction directory. #20 junction is okay because Oando no longer has a bus stop @ less than #19. We need to start having realistic junctions abeg because na human beings enter @ #30 junction, we cannot afford to waste much of their waiting time.

Dragonking: Something is definitely wrong with the oxygen boys. This is a company that claimed that the money was on the table and all they needed was ministerial consent in January. The drama continued as this company made some people to end up in the hospital while others were exchanging e-punches all for the passion cheesy

Now, the ministerial approval is given so what is really causing the delay and panic? Why is it that it is on offer? Do they know that some people bought high even at N33? cheesy

Hope some peeps like me wont get high blood pressure because of oando sad
