You did not state whether you are going for short term or long term. Obviously FBNH is okay for long term. If you want to risk short term, you can target this Jan/Feb market rally. The stock has not been doing well for the past 8 trading days but may pick up soon. Around N15 will be a good entry price. Just my opinion o..

Actually, there are some dividends that are not worth it except if you have millions of units on the stock. Sometimes I go for price appreciation and collect my profit on my short term stocks if that pays me better than what I will get on the miniature dividend.

Aks: Nope, tried but the broker didn't c it to buy so i just stopped placing the order. There is still time to join the train by those who wish but i see this stock as a time bomb (Good or bad[b][/b]) that's sitting on so many dependencies (sealing of conocophillips, correction might come in anytime, sentimental analysis, Financials not too good, heavily indebted coy, bad mgt)

If I can't get more Oando today, I will cancel the order as there will still be price correction soon.

This is just so unfair. Maybe they used cross trade to execute your order. Since cross trades are not recorded brokers can carry out their evil acts. So one party will gained enormously while the other get cheated. Meristem is good at cross trade. I have observed that some times when I place market order as early as 7 am, before I finish taking my bath they send me buy contract note for that order.

Good news for Japaul but it will not stop profit takers from dragging the price down a little- opportunity for those who thought they missed the ride.

IMO, market makers cannot perform magic in this situation. Market makers quotes both bid and ask price for a particular security and apparently their ask will be higher than their bid price but I think there is an allowed limit which regulates the difference between their ask and bid price. Market makers cannot be forced to buy at just any Ask price because they too want to make profits as they are not non-profit organisation. So their duties here (providing liquidity) will be limited.

It depends on when the purchase was made. Or perhaps he used stop loss on his mandate which could have triggered the sale. If he bought in January 2014 (most probably) and sold manually then No Bugatti for am. IMO he was wrong. COP deal isn't dead yet so I wonder why he chickened out.

divinelove: I tink ur frnd did d right tin in having wat is called stop loss strategy, all he shld do is to watch d stock n then buy it back at lower price say 21 he ll surely recover his losses n make profit.

If he buys again at N21, there is a high possibility he will still be shaken out of the trade by a simple retrace or price correction. What he needs is an Oando-heart to be able to make real profit on the stock. The only way he will be right is if Oando doesn't get to N25 in January (which is almost impossible).

I hope it doesn't get broken too because the more supports a stock breaks the more resistances it will encounter on its way back up (uptrend). Let's not forget that during its uptrend movement Oando was trading with gaps so it most probably will be breaking those supports easily with gaps. But no shaking as breaking through resistances will not be a problem for Oando considering investors appetite for it. After 20, my next will be around 19, 17, 16.20

There was an old resistance around that N20 line (may not be exact) which becomes a new support for the stock after the resistance was broken.

There is a support at the N20 line. So my first re-entry price will be around N20. If it breaks this support, I will load more at the next support level and continue loading at various support points until my money finish

IMO, the only fear investors have about unity bank is the share reconstruction. But I'm not sure there will be reconstruction at this current Benchmark price. Maybe the price will rally up before they will embarking on reconstruction (just my opinion). If this happens, those who bought at the car park can take advantage of the short rally and sell before SEC will place it on full suspension.

Aks: @bigass- transfer of shares from one holder to another electronically without trading on the floor of exchange. E.g. I checked Morgan's site today where I saw that shares can be trsfed @ no cost, imagine myself with 1M unit of link assurance, I'll surely transfer and it'll relect in the daily trade report

Aks: @immanuelo- if @ all Transcorp is going to do reconstruction, it'll be @ d peak of price surge (my thinking though) I also butrss this pt by what a friend who works in a big finance house told me during the last Rally on Transcorp that b4 reconstruction can take place, the price will b very near to N7 which was the price of the IPO in 2007 or so.

There has not been any official news on Transcorp doing share reconstruction. Nobody is talking about share buy back. Is this not possible in the future? And even if there will be reconstruction, sometimes share reconstruction can turn out positive for investors.

Which stockbroker do you use?
If you previously used limit order, why not try using market order. It's faster to get your mandates executed that way because all the stocks you mentioned above are on the fast lane.
